The staff at this Safeway are generally not very helpful…read more Yesterday, I could not pick up my medication during their open hours because the pharmacist was on a break (not the published lunch break). I was told I needed to come back in 10 minutes because the pharmacist needed a consultation on one of the medications. Each person in line was told the same thing. This is a lie; the truth is that the non-pharmacist staff cannot give out the medication when the pharmacist is not present. It would be nice if they would just be honest. There was no apology for the delay and the pharmacist break times are not listed apart from the lunch break. There usually are no greetings like "Hello" or "Have a nice day" or "Thanks for doing business with us". There is rarely a smile. I go to this pharmacy only because it is the only one left in my neighborhood.

I told her my hubby's meds were all stolen from our car, along with everything from our 2-week camping trip. V's voice immediately calmed me down while she worked with me by phone to fill my husbands meds (not tomorrow or the next day, but TODAY within a couple of hours). V's thoroughness has always been spot on with our medications. Thanks again for your kindness and help. Hey, it's time we thanked wonderful Rhonda in Customer Service, because she's worked diligently for 30+ years at Safeway. And, I gotta say, "On each and every occasion she's always put Safeway's customers first by assisting them 'when and where'd there's a need. An example of this is my 78 year old hubby gets confused at times. AND, it just makes my day when he comes home with stories about how Rhonda helped him. Thanks so much Rhonda! STARS (stand out qualities) -Has gas station…read more -Has food court -Good selection of products -Most staff serving samples are friendly and patient despite customers waiting and hovering haha STAIRS (areas of growth) -I've encountered two staff at checkout who were not friendly - one didn't respond when I asked if it was okay to leave items in the cart and just stared at me and another staff gave me a sharp tone when I was trying to ask about an overcharged item (I understand they were in the middle of helping another customer but when I said "excuse me" the first time they didn't look at me or say anything so I asked them a second time and got a sharp tone response ) TIPS -If you are overcharged, you can go to the area where you make returns to let them know (instead of asking the cashier like I did); it's not the same line as returns but nearby -Parking in garage is nice if you want to keep car or other food in car cool -There is also uncovered parking lot spots (usually enough if you are okay walking during during peak times)

That means they have more than one pharmacist on duty and a lot more cashiers and technicians to work on your order . It is clean and organized. They offer some new programs to help with the process of getting your prescriptions . You can set up auto pay and the medications will be ready and paid for when you arrive at the pharmacy . They now have automatic lockers . You can set up a new account and paid on line then pick up your prescriptions from the locker 。 If you have pets ( dogs and cats ) , you can join a pets prescription plan called FIGO and receive 15 % off . ( for Costco membership) The pharmacy also offer all kinds of immunizations ( back to school , travel immunizations, Covin shots , pneumonia shots, RSV vaccines, etc ) The male pharmacy manager is very helpful and knowledgeable. The younger Chinese lady pharmacist is cheerful and she helps resolve my concerns and addresses them . I appreciate their efforts and professionalism very much .

Something said look up and I kind of glanced, because he was like by the front still but would walk over ever aisle I transferred to. I do understand that they have a lot of people coming in taking stuff but come on you see me some times weekly if not every other week. Spending $400 but never less than $100 plus. Just last Friday, I walked in with my daughter shopped for groceries and I walked over towards the liquor and essentials aisle. I pick up spritz drink four pack and eye drop. I had for got something in the frozen food aisle as I processed to exit the aisle, cashier walked her wide short plump self from behind the counter waving her hands in the air. Just doing extra when she could have easily said oh honey I'm sorry to have to tell you but store policy said you can't leave this section with those particular items. I would have understood. I have two lazy eyes, with a bad hip and leg pain. Let's not forget that I come in every single time with my four year old daughter. I attend church but honey let me tell you I almost forgot that I was saved and had excepted the Lord, as my savior. Why would I teach my child different? I've noticed they don't even look at someone that is not black way. I live right across the street. I have to say I feel very disrespected. As I return to the counter I didn't pay for those items. At this time black security walked over to the counter and a black cashier, their fake ball playing self were being nice too my daughter, mind you before I made it back to the counter to pay they were already having words. Like okay y'all better watch out for church people cause I heard that they be packing. LoL! After paying for my items before I could even get to the door the black cashier stated that she didn't like my attitude. Why because I stated I come in there spending too much money to steal or because I stated I had just come from the nail shop spending $161, on me and my daughter. I'm the wrong one.
