I said I'd grab them on Saturday. I forgot and received a text on Monday 11/25 that prescriptions needed to be picked up by 11/27. From the time of receiving text at 1:44-5:15 on 11/25 they were placed back on shelf and was told they were unavailable for refill until 12/04/24. After my wife waited for some time she left and I called and waited on hold until I was told they were put back because they didn't have help employee was non apologetic to the point I asked to have all prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy. In this day and age we don't need more stress in our life especially with getting the meds we need to keep us healthy. Train your employees to have some empathy towards customers! If they do not have the help to do the job get them some. I will no longer purchase my medications from any RiteAid.

Frankly, I have never liked CVS. This time, I found the drug store section to be disorganized chaos. Standing there is a very long line and watching those employees behind the drug counter reminded me of watching an ant colony, but somehow I did manage to get my scripts. My former RA pharmacist was assigned another location so I decided to join Walmart Plus and have my scripts delivered free to my house. No more lines! But I must say that the quality of service was much better at Walmart than CVS. When I went to transfer out of CVS, I found it very uncooperative and rather difficult to transfer my scripts. The Walmart Pharmacist that I spoke to about that issue agreed that CVS just didn't play fair with transfers out. I only paid $50 bucks for a one year subscription of WalMart Plus on a half price special. Even if I had to go to the store to pick up my meds, I would recommend. They seem to be on top of their game much more than those poor souls that have to work at CVS.

I've never had bad experiences like many others, and considered myself lucky, until recently. I had a prescription that was ready but before I could pick it up, I had a question. I called and found out that you cannot speak with a person, but rather only leave a voicemail., of which I did several times over the course of almost two weeks. With no response to my calls, I also left messages through the CVS app. Still no return call. It is very difficult for me to stop in the store for merely a question, and nor should I have to. I checked my app account today and saw that the prescription that was ready, has now been shelved and I need to reorder it. I'm really irritated, because I now have to start this process all over again and my question remains unanswered. I've overheard two of my physicians (different offices) complain about how awful this location is, to great length, and perhaps I'll heed the local community's warnings and move on myself. I'm too old and busy to deal with this crap and thankfully I have other options.

Hands down the only pharmacy for us. We were crazy to deal with the headaches of mail order…read moremedicines instead of using our community pharmacy! Refills are almost always done within moments of being ordered and the app makes things easy. Forget about the frustrating waiting time and poor service at the chain pharmacy. You can't beat folks seeing your face and knowing who you are, but also knowing to check the names of the others in your family so you can pickup everything at once. Our son has epilepsy and has recently learned to become responsible for ordering his own refills and I couldn't love this team more for being kind and understanding as he navigated this important step to adulthood (forgetting to request timely refills occasionally) He also recently underwent brain surgery and was in the hospital for several weeks. The team asked about his status and were big cheerleaders when he returned home. This is a phenomenal group of people and if you live in this community and aren't taking advantage of having this blessing, you're really missing out!

On Saturday, July 25, 2026, at approximately 12:44 p.m., I visited the Walmart in Shrewsbury, PA…read more Before reaching the checkout, my experience had been excellent. I purchased balloons in the Electronics Department, where the associates were professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. In fact, I have never had a bad experience with the Electronics team. One associate even suggested I purchase balloon weights from the Party section because they were smaller and less expensive than buying them elsewhere. I appreciated the recommendation. Unfortunately, my experience changed completely when I reached the checkout. The cashier, Mary, immediately questioned my balloon purchase and asked to see my receipt. While I understand that stores have policies to verify purchases, I politely asked why customers are asked to show receipts at the register when they are also checked again at the exit. Instead of simply explaining the policy, Mary became rude and confrontational. She responded by implying that I "must be guilty of something." That comment was completely unnecessary, unprofessional, and insulting. The interaction continued to escalate. Rather than de-escalating the situation, Mary began asking personal questions, including whether I even had a job. Those questions had absolutely nothing to do with my purchase and were inappropriate, disrespectful, and humiliating. When we noticed a manager walking by, we tried to express our concerns about how we had just been treated. Instead of remaining with her customers, Mary left her register and inserted herself into our conversation with the manager in a confrontational manner. That behavior only reinforced how unprofessional the situation had become. The manager's response was equally disappointing. She briefly stated that she would talk to Mary, but her tone, body language, and demeanor made it clear that she wanted to end the conversation as quickly as possible. She avoided engaging with our concerns, appeared dismissive, and walked away without showing any genuine interest in resolving the issue or apologizing for our experience. Customer service is about treating people with dignity and respect. Being questioned, accused, insulted, and then dismissed by management is not acceptable. One unpleasant interaction can overshadow an otherwise positive shopping experience, and that's exactly what happened here. I sincerely hope Walmart addresses this situation. No customer should leave feeling disrespected after simply trying to make a purchase.

I came in and went right to the sections I needed and grabbed what I could. Not everything I needed was stocked and what they did have I had to search for. I anticipated needing a cart, but in reality I honestly could have carried everything in the end. I walked around and browsed other sections. I went to their clearance section and nothing was of interest in this area. I made my way to the front of the store and opted for the self checkout so I could get out of the store and back on the road. I hate that it's almost like walking through security when exiting a Walmart now. It's not fun to almost be searched even though you have your bags and receipt in hand.
