WalMart offered me free home delivery with a PLUS membership among other benefits, additionally I got that PLUS membership at half price. I need not ever stand in line for a prescription. Since Rite Aid closed I have seen lots of long lines at the remaining pharmacies. Now when I was setting up my WalMart account the people at the pharmacy were much more organized an polite than most of my visits to CVS. And if I need a pharmacist in person, WalMart is right there. That is why I did not even consider using Amazon. WalMart has changed overall for the better. Ever since the Ice Princess movie, I'm moving away from Amazon.

I said I'd grab them on Saturday. I forgot and received a text on Monday 11/25 that prescriptions needed to be picked up by 11/27. From the time of receiving text at 1:44-5:15 on 11/25 they were placed back on shelf and was told they were unavailable for refill until 12/04/24. After my wife waited for some time she left and I called and waited on hold until I was told they were put back because they didn't have help employee was non apologetic to the point I asked to have all prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy. In this day and age we don't need more stress in our life especially with getting the meds we need to keep us healthy. Train your employees to have some empathy towards customers! If they do not have the help to do the job get them some. I will no longer purchase my medications from any RiteAid.

Refills are almost always done within moments of being ordered and the app makes things easy. Forget about the frustrating waiting time and poor service at the chain pharmacy. You can't beat folks seeing your face and knowing who you are, but also knowing to check the names of the others in your family so you can pickup everything at once. Our son has epilepsy and has recently learned to become responsible for ordering his own refills and I couldn't love this team more for being kind and understanding as he navigated this important step to adulthood (forgetting to request timely refills occasionally) He also recently underwent brain surgery and was in the hospital for several weeks. The team asked about his status and were big cheerleaders when he returned home. This is a phenomenal group of people and if you live in this community and aren't taking advantage of having this blessing, you're really missing out!

I made my way to the front of the store and opted for the self checkout so I could get out of the store and back on the road. I hate that it's almost like walking through security when exiting a Walmart now. It's not fun to almost be searched even though you have your bags and receipt in hand.

When they were reprinted, the same problem occurred. I was told the printers weren't working correctly. These were Christmas gifts, and we did not receive them until after Christmas. I decided to give Walgreens a second chance this year at a different location. I ordered 8 calendars on December 23 at 11:15 AM. Earliest pick up time was December 24 at 1:23 PM. After not hearing that my order was ready, I called to check on the order status only to hear that they are out of stock and have to cancel my order. Again, these were Christmas gifts and now I do not have them for my family. While I understand these things happen, no one bothered to call and let me know, so I could reorder and have them in time. The staff answering phone calls--particularly the women in the back--often seem unwilling to help and come across as having poor attitudes. The current pharmacist also lacks basic customer service skills. It feels as though, with rumors of bankruptcy, the team is simply going through the motions and no longer values their roles.
