Suggest caution before using this pharmacy. I have had several unsatisfactory experiences. First i…read morecalled and scheduled an RSV and Flu shot. I accepted the date and time they suggested over the phone. Upon arrival i was questioned as to why i was getting the shots that day. I advised that it was their suggestion of date and time. I was shown a clipboard showing i was the only one scheduled that day and told it was their busiest day of the year. They offered the flu shot then but suggested I reschedule RSV as it takes some 15 minutes or so to prepare . While awaiting the flu shot to be administered i was then advised my Medicare ID was invalid due to a hack of the govt site. I told them it had been accepted at GBMC , by my PCP and my Dermatologist in the past week. I left with no vax administered. I called Medicare and was advised the Card # i had for the past 15 years had not been hacked and was ok. This week they would not fill a script for two blood pressure meds because they don't carry them? These are both readily available and widely prescribed throughout the USA. CVS, Walgreens etc. This script was marked received successfully by the "My Pharmacy" app they recommend for their patients. See photo below. Only upon arrival did they advise they wont fill the scripts. Everyone there is very nice but my experience has caused to me to move to another Pharmacy. Proceed with caution.

I was surprised by this little privately owned pharmacy located near my home in Phoenix Maryland…read more The service was quick, no waiting in long lines to be served, everyone was polite, and prescriptions were filled in a timely fashion. Best of all, when I needed to speak to the pharmacist, I was connected almost immediately after speaking to a real person! The gift shop has high-quality items as well as the usual tchotchkes. I really like this place and have transferred all my Rx's to it.

I'm a bit shocked to see so many negative reviews. I moved back to Shrewsbury a year ago and after…read morebecoming frustrated that I'd been unable to have my prescriptions filled for a week at my normal pharmacy (Walgreens), I asked my doctor to send them to CVS even though my insurance didn't participate with them. I've had CVS fill them ever since and just pay because it's worth the money to me. Walgreens would hang up on my, screw up my insurance coverage by submitting things I'd never filled and every month it would take a week of back and forth to get my prescriptions so I'd always run out. Ive had zero issues in the year I've gone to CVS, they're polite, responsive and competent. I don't however expect the pharmacy to vacinate me, I go to my Drs office for that and to the pharmacy for meds.

Frankly, I have never liked CVS. This time, I found the drug store section to be disorganized chaos. Standing there is a very long line and watching those employees behind the drug counter reminded me of watching an ant colony, but somehow I did manage to get my scripts. My former RA pharmacist was assigned another location so I decided to join Walmart Plus and have my scripts delivered free to my house. No more lines! But I must say that the quality of service was much better at Walmart than CVS. When I went to transfer out of CVS, I found it very uncooperative and rather difficult to transfer my scripts. The Walmart Pharmacist that I spoke to about that issue agreed that CVS just didn't play fair with transfers out. I only paid $50 bucks for a one year subscription of WalMart Plus on a half price special. Even if I had to go to the store to pick up my meds, I would recommend. They seem to be on top of their game much more than those poor souls that have to work at CVS.

I was sent to three other Walgreens told they have my medication in stock even though they knew that those medications were tethered to other patients. I waited 35 minutes on hold only to speak to a woman who was rude and frustrated she had to be talking to me. She interrupted me and would not let me speak, explain myself, or ask questions. The worst customer service I have had this century.

I've been refilling this medication for the past four months at this same location using GoodRx and paying cash -- because my out-of-state insurance doesn't cover it. Never had a problem until now. This time, the pharmacist and their assistant -- both of whom sounded completely untrained and uninformed -- insisted I couldn't pick up my medication without insurance. I explained that I've been paying out-of-pocket, using a discount card, and that this is entirely legal and standard practice. They told me that past fills were done as a "one-time courtesy," which is flat-out false. When I asked for an explanation, they simply repeated "rules are rules" and refused to engage in a reasonable conversation. They even hung up on me twice. I called my doctor, and she confirmed they were absolutely wrong and even called the pharmacy herself. Yet, the pharmacist continued to argue and block the fill -- even with a current, valid prescription and a doctor verifying it. This experience felt shady and incompetent. I've since transferred the prescription to another pharmacy with no issue at all. My advice? Steer clear of this place. They're uneducated on basic pharmacy procedure, unprofessional in their communication, and clearly not equipped to handle controlled substances or customer service. Thank God for iPhone recordings -- the world deserves to hear how absurd and unqualified these people are.
