I waited for 10 min and finally some very nice lady came over she looked it up and apologized and said I can have it for you in 20 min I thanked her and went to sit down. They source most of their items from local farms. I've been to Hannafords in Massachusetts and now this one in North Conway. It's a nice grocery store comparable to other local ones. The prices and selection of items were also comparable. We got some essentials there during our vacation. It's located in a convenient place with other amenities nearby. There is also a Tesla supercharger right in the parking lot.

Today my 4 year old little boy got lost in Walmart, which is probably one of the scariest things…read morethat can happen as a parent. Immediately all of the staff (I'm not exaggerating) jumped in to help find him. Staging employees at every possible exit/entry. It was clear these employees had strict training in which they carried out seamlessly. After 15-20 min they found him hiding with a toy in hand, His sneeze gave him away. Once he was found my husband overheard employees stating that he was found, which he ran over and asked where he was. It wasn't until the employee confirmed he was the father that he gave him any information of his whereabouts, we were impressed to say the least. As much as every parent can say this will never happen to them, the fact of the matter is it does and can. It's not about if and when it does happen though, it's how the people around you support you in times it does. If it wasn't already obvious, I have nothing but trust my son's safety was top priority to these employees today. I'm not generally one to write reviews like this, but getting my son back safe and sound today- this is the least I can do. This is the stuff that truly matters, as humans and employees and I'm so grateful.

I explained that there were two medications on the prescription and she needed to transfer one of them from another pharmacy. She was not listening and told me it was too late in the day and they were about to close. I asked her to give it to the pharmacist in case he had any questions and I would be in the store for a few minutes. She said, "it's too late, he won't do it until tomorrow." I knew she never heard a word I said. The next day I went back to get the prescription, this time 30 minutes before they closed. I opened the sack to find they filled the wrong one. I told the nice lady that waited on me and the pharmacist heard me and blew a head gasket and came charging around to the counter and moved the little lady out of the way and took money out of the register and gave it to me. He told us he could not transfer a prescription because of New Hampshire state law. It would have to be a new prescription from the Dr. They already had the doctor info because of the information we had just given them the night before. He called a different doctor rather than the specialist. the other doctor's records were from several months prior so he prescribed the medication for one a day while the specialist had prescribed two per day for several months. When the medication had run out we went in to get a refill and found they used the prescription from the wrong doctor. We call the doctor and asked to send in a prescription. We checked later that day and the pharmacy said they never received it. The following day we called again, still no prescription. We called the third day and they still never had a prescription. At that point we called the doctor and they said they sent the prescription in the day i called them. I called Walmart Pharmacy again. They said "We don't have it." I told them the doctor sent it in the day I called. They checked again and found they had it. Then they told me they could not fill it because the first prescription was only for one a day. So now there is no medication for the remainder of the month because of their mess-up. This is very dangerous for a diabetic to be without a prescription because of the failures of the pharmacy. We will never go back to Walmart Pharmacy in Gorham. Our health is too important to have someone that doesn't care.

My wife and I have been daily customers for years now and one of the associates (Sheri) put my wife…read moreon the spot and begged her to borrow money from us. My wife has a hard time saying no to things like this and kind heartedly gave her 60 dollars (after asking her the day before how much she made per hour, which I found weird) and was told she would be paid back in the next week. 3 weeks later I saw her and politely asked when she was planning on paying us back (we need the money, just like the rest of the country right now) and I was told that she is broke all the time so basically get over it, we aren't getting paid back. 2 days after this my wife went to the pharmacy to fill a prescription and was chased through the store and yelled at telling her "tell your husband to stop harassing me about the money". I'm not delusional, I'm aware we were ripped-off, I just think it's incredibly unprofessional to ask your customers to "borrow " money. The only reason why I gave 2 stars is because everyone else is great. I realize that the company is going out of business but this still needs to be addressed. I spend hundreds of dollars there every week and I don't think I will ever come back after this experience.
