Avoid Saco River Medical at all costs!! This place screwed me. I went there for an appointment and paid my co-insurance portion. This practice then failed to bill my insurance, BCBS, in a timely fashion, so my insurance refused to pay it. Then, two years later they sent me a bill! I refused to pay it so they sent it to a collection agency and threatened my credit! Not good! There is not one accredited MD in this entire practice! They also misdiagnosed a stroke I had! Idiots! One of the older women doctors there I believe she is possibly part owner doesn't believe in treating illness with medicine I brought my sick son there he had a bad cough she said to put up air purifier with Vicks in his room said he'd be fine I wanted a second opinion and was headed to the hospital she asked if I wanted her to call ahead I said no thanks you've done enough took him to the hospital they admitted him with beginning stages of pneumonia couple years after that she did the same thing won't be going back there.my doctor there is pretty good but her staff isn't they make me use the patient portal but they won't respond on it and they have no common sense read more

This place will not accept my NYSHIP insurance. I am retired and am moving up to NH. The urgent care in Glenn accepted my insurance but they closed down. Its not right. read more

I pulled the muscle in my back. I could barely stand up from a seated position. I went to Saco River medical in the morning 8:00 when they open. The walk-in clinic. Within less and a half an hour I walked out with the cure to my problem. I felt extremely fortunate to see Dr Frank Hubble. I knew he was an expert on backs. But I never had an issue before. I've already been going there for probably more than 20 years if you haven't been there do yourself a favor either do a walk in if you're not feeling well or sign up for a primary care doctor. I have never had a primary care physician who was as thoughtful, caring, accessible, thorough, and capable as Gretchen Lockard. On everything from colds and sprains to catching melanoma at a very early stage, Gretchen took excellent care of me. I am moving away from the North country and one of the features of this region that I will miss the most is having Gretchen as my doctor. I have to also make a note of the fact that the nurse who accompanied Gretchen always blew me away with how personable she was, as well. I feel as though I would be hoping for far too much to find a duo in the next couple of years to take care of me as well as those two have. read more

Review for walk in: Very slow receptionist staff that allow you to stand in line for 20 minutes even though there is no one else is line... they do not seem to have up to date systems and take an incredibly long time to enter patient information. Very disappointed. I get that it is a small town clinic, but the wait when there were limited patients seeking treatment was extreme. read more

My daughter was injured snowboarding at Bretton Woods, and I was concerned about a fracture so we stopped into Saco River Medical Group after seeing their sign on the road to Conway. I can't say enough about this medical office. They made the registration process as painless as possible and helped me with the insurance approval. My daughter was seen quite quickly, and both the medical technician Ashley and the physician assistant Judith were awesome. After an examination, they quickly did an x-ray and determined that my daughter was OK. Judith then followed up later with a phone call and sent me a copy of the x-ray report. I noticed that regular patients with appointments were seen within just a few minutes of coming into the office. I would highly recommend this medical practice. read more
