It may not be the biggest Walmart but we usually find everything we need and then some. The pharmacy staff is very helpful for the most part, the movie selection is really good and the grocery section is decent. The toy section and clothes for big people definitely need attention. On a side note... while the self checkout has sped up the shopping experience, I am not a fan and will not use it. Automation is costing people their jobs.

Just for fun, let's pretend that you, gentle reader, have never set foot inside a Walmart Supercentre. Let me set the scene. Since we're obviously in the 'burbs you must first manoeuvre your SUV or minivan into a parking lot that can only be measured in football fields. After acquiring a spot nowhere near the store, get out of your car and see if you can feel the gravitational tug of the small-business-crushing blackhole that is Walmart. As you make way through the no-doubt-strewn-with-blue-shopping-carts parking lot, remember: this isn't even close to the worst of it. The action starts right away. In fact, I've never entered a Walmart without someone else simultaneously leaving. It's an endless loop of consumption: coming, going, buying, breaking, dawdling, vacuously staring, slowly dying. Think maggots on a decaying steak. Be prepared for sobbing children. You might be greeted by a man or woman in a blue vest who you will avoid but still want to embrace and tell them it's OK. You will be unable to get any help in the store. This is normal. Once you have crossed the 20-foot long, three lane vestibule that is the antechamber to savings, you will have entered the no frills fluorescence that is Walmart. At a Supercentre you need only *ponder* a saleable item (a towel, a toaster, skis, a pear, eye drops, a step stool, a USB hot chocolate stirrer) and as God as my witness: it will be manifest. It will also be of middling quality and priced so competitively you'll think you're at a garage sale, but you'll probably find it. It would be foolish to attempt to distinguish this Walmart from others, and I shall not. A few positives (aside from their Olympic selection and human-rights-defying prices), are their sensible approach to the express queue (bank style), and their generous return and exchange policy. Negatives include: their detrimental effect on small businesses in a community, their mostly-imported low quality merchandise, and the People of Walmart themselves. The POW effect is less pronounced in Canada than the US, but trust me, it's there. In summary, if you can get it at Walmart, you can get it anywhere else. I recommend you do. Obligatory Title Pun: All in all, it's just another brick in the WAL. Menu Readability: Geez, even their logo is cheap. Need to mention: Avoid any and every location in the month of December (or any time of year really). What this place teaches me about myself: Not a damn thing.

Weird new layout and movies are all but gone. Otherwise your typical Walmart. It does have a better International foods aisle than most.

Worst Walmart store that I visit. The first experience was bad and I just believe that wasn't a good day, but the second was worst.

I purchased a Coach Perfume 3 days ago to gift my wife, I wasn't certain about the fragrance and confirmed with staff then , if I can return it , if my wife doesn't like it, since it was sealed. They told me I surely can. When I went to return it today, had to face such a rude behaviour by Cashier, Kimberley, she kept on repeating, this will go to garbage, its open. She did return it though but the behaviour I would never forget, at the end when I said Thank you she responded with hmmmm. Sorry guys, but you have to be respectful or you will be loosing customers.

It's close to my house, small enough that I can navigate it quickly. I'm elderly. The store is fairly well stocked, except for housewares and women's plus sizes. It's clean, staff are friendly, great selection, fair pricing. I have never had a complaint until October 3, 2025. After waiting in line a while, I was served by ELLEN . We didn't get off to a great start. I handed her my winners bag to put my purchases in. She told me to bag it myself! I always help, just not when I'm ordered to. My total was about $215. I gave her cash, $220. In 11. $20bills. She counted it 3 times. I finally told her she needed basic math skills. No yelling, no swearing. She got all defensive and mouthed something rude. She then became overwhelmed and went to count it for the 4th time! . Finally a lady came over, told her to relax, breathe, and finished off the sale for ELEN. Ellen was a teenager, caucasion, long brown hair. I'd really like to know who thought this girl would be an asset and a good fit working a register and dealing with customers. I don't believe she had any training whatsoever. I was not impressed at all ( she had a small brain and a big mouth). October 5th, I was shopping again. ELEN was working cash. When it was my turn, I got Ellen. I don't think so, no way! I told the person behind me to go first. As I was being rung through by another cashier, a very nice one, I guess Ellen was finished her shift. She thought it would be cool to interrupt the sale, give the cashier a huge, fake hug, and discuss her work schedule. I was not impressed. It is then that I decided to write a review. I realized we all have to start somewhere, but why stick someone on cash that can't count? We are not a cashless society yet. Many teenagers would love to have a job in this economy, for extra spending money. This girl doesn't deserve this job. I think she should be retrained in cash and social skills, how to talk to a customer, especially elderly customers who grew up with manners. Maybe the stockroom or a factory is more up her ally. . Marshall's should be more careful who they hire to represent their store. If this is who they chose, I would hate to see who they rejected!!

We found brands like Moschino, Theory, Rebecca Minkoff, DKNY, Herschel, Lazypants. Most items we picked up range from $15 to $30 which is a really good price!

On February 27, we had to tow our 2018 Ram 1500 to Canadian Tire because it would not start. After a diagnostic, we were told it was a relay. We paid for the repair, but my husband didn't even make it out of the parking lot before the truck stalled again. The truck was pushed back into the garage and he was told to leave the ECU out of the housing and drive it that way. Later that night, it stalled again. The next morning (Feb 28), we called and asked whether basic components like the starter or alternator were tested. We were told they were not. We were then charged AGAIN for another diagnostic and told the issue was the ECU. We approved an ECU replacement costing over $2,300 and were told this would resolve the issue. On March 2, the truck was picked up -- and that same night it stalled again, this time on Highway 410. Being told to "just drive it" after a major repair, only for it to stall on the highway, was extremely concerning. We returned the truck on March 3, and from that point forward, the experience only declined. We had to call daily for updates, and it was rare that anyone contacted us proactively. Earl, the service manager, provided inconsistent information throughout this process. At different points we were told: * the throttle body would be replaced * then that it would not be * then that the issue was the ECU * then that it was likely a wiring issue The messaging constantly changed, and we were never given clear or consistent answers. On March 6, we were told the truck would be sent to Dodge/Chrysler for further diagnostics. However, days later, the dealership had not even assessed the vehicle. When we finally spoke to Dodge directly on March 12, they were not even aware that the ECU had been replaced. Despite having documentation showing the battery was in good condition (including testing at 98%), we were later told the truck needed a new battery, which was replaced anyway. Ultimately, the dealership identified the actual issue as a loose power wire to the PCM and repaired it by running a new wire. At pickup, Canadian Tire could not provide: * a final work order * any diagnostic proof supporting the ECU replacement * the original ECU that was removed We were also charged for two separate diagnostics on February 27 and 28 for the same issue. We paid over $2,300 for a repair that did not resolve the problem, were without our vehicle for over two weeks, and had to chase updates every step of the way while receiving conflicting information. This experience was exhausting, disruptive, and completely unacceptable.

Ok, not quite sure WHY they opened yet another Winners...when there's one just a block south!…read more I came on the Grand Opening and the location is large and new. Fixtures were dark, especially the shoe shelves. They had large flood lights, but I found the lighting quite dim, a bit irritating to me. I think it's done on purpose so you don't know what time of day it is. "Designer" brands were only a few purses on a round 3-tiered shelf in the front. Again, not sure if they're going to expand this into a full-on "Red Carpet" section. Selection-wise, I found it a little better than your average Winners, but again, it's a Grand Opening, so of course they'll have their best merch up front. Line was horrendous, so I left without purchasing anything.
