Med mounjaro is currently low in stock and on many back orders with pharmacies. My doctor advised me that AM Pharmacy had the dose I needed in stock. I called them and asked if I could get the 90 day supply that my insurance is now requiring I have filled, and I was told due to the manufacturer back order they were only filling 1 month supply for all. This was in order to not run out and to have it available for all customers in need. I respect that!!! I have been in the pharmacy industry for over 30 years and understand the process. I was able to contact my insurance and get a one time override to allow just a 30 day fill. AM Pharmacy was also offering to deliver, but since I live near Lake Arrowhead with mail box in Redlands, they offered to transfer my prescription to their sister pharmacy, ABC in Redlands, after confirming my med was in stock. It was 5pm, with ABC closing at 530pm. I contacted ABC Pharmacy and they had it ready for me when I arrived at 515pm. This is customer service at its best! Reminds me of my retail pharmacy tech days, where we went out of our way to take care of our customers. Great job! Very thankful for their help!

It was partially my fault for letting my meds get so low. They finally got my meds in a week after I made my request. My meds are not something I can miss. They gave me some so I could last the week. Other CVS locations have consistently applied this discount without issue. At this location, the barcode was not applied, and I paid full price multiple times. After raising the concern, I was informed there would be a review of the situation and possible reimbursement, but the matter remains unresolved. I had one of the most uncomfortable and unprofessional experiences I've ever had at this CVS pharmacy. The pharmacist, Summer Trungh, told me my prescription was "not FDA approved" without properly explaining what that meant, then spoke to me in an aggressive and confrontational manner. When I calmly questioned this and asked for clarification, she escalated the situation instead of de-escalating it. She raised her voice and discussed my medication loudly in front of other customers, which was humiliating and felt like a complete violation of my privacy. I was then told they would not fill my prescription at this location and was threatened that my doctor would be reported, even though there was no clear explanation of any wrongdoing. At no point was I treated with respect, professionalism, or discretion. I left feeling judged, intimidated, and extremely uncomfortable. Pharmacies deal with sensitive medical issues, and patients deserve to be spoken to privately and respectfully--this was the opposite of that. I would strongly recommend CVS corporate review how this location handles patient interactions, because no one should be treated this way when seeking medical care. If you use the CVS app, I recommend confirming that your barcode is scanned and that your discounts are properly applied before completing payment. They also have good cigarette deals for you smokers, we come here to stock up for my husband since they have the best marlboro prices. Closeout specials on candy and other stuff is also good. Walgreens is my favorite drugstore by far but this location isn't that great. Kind of run down, a pain to get in and out of, staff not around or too busy to help. I like Walgreens but will go to other locations from now on.

They normally have only one person working the inside window and sometimes that same person is also working the drive-thru window. No wonder the lines are long. Go figure! Please hire more staff to attend to your customers... at least one for drive-thru and one for inside window. If drive-thru staff is free, then they can help the customers at the inside window. Limited staff can only hurt the customers IMHO. Besides using their pharmacy, I've shopped here in the past especially when they have sales. Also I love their Thrifty ice cream... yummy yummy! They are friendly and knowledgeable and I've never had to try and flag someone down when first walking in. My only complaint is the hours.. working down the hill means I'm gone when they're open so I can only go in on the weekends which gives me Saturday only since they're closed Sunday. Maybe if they had one day a week to open early or stay open later... Even without the technology convenience of seeing the status of your medication online this place is still levels above the rest.
