This is my go-to Rite Aid in Hesperia for my medications or ointments pickup at their pharmacy. Unfortunately, lines are usually long. They normally have only one person working the inside window and sometimes that same person is also working the drive-thru window. No wonder the lines are long. Go figure! Please hire more staff to attend to your customers... at least one for drive-thru and one for inside window. If drive-thru staff is free, then they can help the customers at the inside window. Limited staff can only hurt the customers IMHO. Besides using their pharmacy, I've shopped here in the past especially when they have sales. Also I love their Thrifty ice cream... yummy yummy! My favorites are Pineapple Coconut, Black Cherry, Butter Pecan, and Pistachios... alright, I love ice cream so I have more than one favorite... I just can't decide which ice cream reigns supreme LOL... they are all fantastic in my book! One good thing about Rite Aid is that they are strategically located in the cities. If you need something quick, Rite Aid is probably around the corner for your convenience and shopping needs. They may not have everything you need, but I know they have come through for me on many occasions. Thank you Rite Aid! read more

Been using this pharmacy for probably 20 years. Today is the last. I take a medication the last couple years that my insurance doesn't cover and I refill it monthly. Every month i call ahead upon submitting the refill to advise i will be paying out of pocket. For the last year plus every single time upon arrival the prescription is not filled due to insurance not covering which i have already called ahead to discuss. It then take 30-60 minutes of waiting. Additionally, every pharmacy worker has a terrible argumentative attitude while trying to resolve this problem as though it is the customers mistake. Terrible attitudes, terrible customer service, and complete incompetence. read more

Tonight after dinner we stopped in for some Thrifty ice cream. I was bummed they didn't have my favorite flavor, but I did get my mint n chip. Service was ok, but when I asked for a cone he scooped it so lopsided it almost fell and I had to ask for a cup to put it in. Store was clean, but parking lot could use some attention as trash was blowing everywhere. read more

Horrible experience. Will never revisit this establishment. I forget the two girls names but I was returning something my wife bought & they were accusing me of? Doing something shady? I didn't get it but they were treating me like a criminal. When I called them on our they basically called me a criminal to my face. Again, horrible. NEVER will I return. read more

This review is based off of the pharmacy. Just got out of oral surgery and headed to this rite aid to get my painkillers and penicillin. Was greeted by the rudest pharmacy tech, who didn't even try to offer another pain relief, when big surprise, they didn't have what i was prescribed in stock. She then proceeded to laugh as i was leaving frustrated. What a way to treat people that are trying to get medication. Never will I get a prescription filled here. read more

Had the best experience at this store yesterday. Brought my granddaughter there after school to get an ice cream cone. Even though there was a long line at the counter, the young man dipping the cones was courteous, friendly and efficient. The clerk, Clark Kent, engaged each customer with a smile and brief "pleasantries ". When it was our turn, he not only treated my little granddaughter as a valued customer, he also helped me sign up for the RiteAid rewards program. Easily the worst pharmacy I've been to. It consistently takes several hours to fill a prescription regardless of how long they tell you it'll take. When I dropped this last prescription off i was told it would be about an hour. Two hours later I called to check (because they're never on time), and the guy told me my doctor hadn't sent anything over yet so they didn't have anything for me. When I told him I brought the prescription in personally he said "oh, it will be another hour." Wait.. So you do have my prescription? Ridiculous. They are completely clueless and that's kinda scary when dealing with people's medication. read more

Great shop to get snacks or other things you need. I've been going to this Rite Aid for years. The staff is very friendly and basically it's a great place to get some drinks (energy or adult) and some snacks in a hurry. There's also some other products that are nice to buy if you need and the photo thing is easy to use and get things printed. haven't used the pharamacy but nice place and never had anything but polite serivce read more

Brought my daughter for a COVID vaccine. There was no one in line, we had an appointment, and we still waited over 30 minutes! Horrible! I only came here because I love shopping at this Rite Aid, had no idea the pharmacy was so slow and horrible! Never again!! read more

Everytime I come and pick up a prescription there is an issue. One time I was told to wait 15 mns and that they were going to get my prescription ready. I wait in the store and I was never called. I go back to check if my medication is ready and they say they were out of that medicine. I was so upset because they had me waiting there for no reason. Now, I keep calling to find out if they have received my prescription and they keep saying no. I called my Drs office and they say they faxed it 20mns ago. I call the pharmacy again and they said "oh yes we did receive will get it ready in 15mns." They are very unorganized and not helpful. I will be switching pharmacy. read more

Really bad customer service. I had a horrible experience @ the pharmacy. I went to filled my Rx after discharged from the hsp with COPD; being a long time customer there, the Pharmacist recognized me from a past issue where they couldn't re-fill my Rx there anymore. Without him asking he started SCREAMING! at me telling me to leave! and threw RX at me. I was trying to explain to him that it was a new Rx but he did not want to reason with me and said "I refused to give you service" and that's when he threw the Rx at me. The cashier was no help he kept saying "should I call the police" I was humiliated, treated like a criminal, this is no way to treat customers specially "sick people", I made a formal complaint and I hope anyone who is reading this that has had bad experiences with them, make a formal complaint too, this people need to know that they're dealing with people not animals, and the reason they have a job is because of sick people like myself who pays my insurance every month, they're not giving me charity for them to think they could treat me like that.
