Her knowledge and the friendly, small-town feel always kept us coming back, and the prices were fair. Now, with the new location, it feels more like a corporate operation. The small-town charm is gone, and so are the reasonable prices. Everything seems way overpriced, to the point where it feels like my wallet is being taken advantage of. I now find myself shopping at other nurseries where I can get a better deal and still receive good service. It's sad to see a local business that built a loyal following in town lose its character and affordability. Unfortunately, it feels like greed got the best of what once was a great place to shop.

I could have spent hours wondering around. The outdoor space is huge and set up with pathways. There were so many surprises throughout not only with their unique statues and sculptures but there was a cage with a giant live peacock who actually spread his tail feathers out while we were watching him. It was incredible! If you're looking for garden statues, you will find something you love. They have everything from animals, gnomes, dinosaurs, aliens, flowers and all types of things. They have benches, gliders and swings that are extremely sturdy made out of hardwood. Very high quality. There is every size planter you can image. They even had wood burning stoves! The plants and trees were fantastic! They had such reasonable prices on trees. We purchased 4 trees 5 years ago from a nursery in Dallas and the trees at Roland's were bigger and at the 2021 price we paid back in the day! You can tell the employees love what they do and rally care about taking care of the plants. Everyone seemed happy and asked us several times if we needed help. If you're in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Roland's is 100% worth the drive.

It was no question that when I had a friend tell me they were flying in from Germany with their new bride to get married that I just had to order her bouquet from Roberta. I was a little nervous that maybe the less than a week's notice I had given I'd have no luck, but Roberta was graciously accommodating and had ready a beautiful fresh cut bouquet and boutonniere the morning of the wedding. Great spot in Fort Worth for all your tree needs…read more We've tried skimping on the tree purchases for a while. Over the last 3+ years we've ordered online, gotten free "twigs" from the city and even more. After hearing about the Tree Place from many neighbors, we finally decided to bite the bullet and get a few medium sized trees and The Tree Place was first on our list. We stopped by on a Friday afternoon with our whole family and the shop was super friendly. Mario was our contractor/sales rep and he took great care of us. He even entertained our kids on the golf cart outing roaming around a few of the tree areas that over the 9+ acre store. We ended up getting 4 medium sized trees (3 of the same ones for the side of our house and 1 for the front). All in all, a great experience and we are happy we chose The Tree Place!!!
