I came in with a crazy project way outside my comfort zone. I am making a quilt for the daughter of a good friend, and attaching her crocheted STAR CHART that is 2X3 yards large. I have never made a quilt bf and every friend who quilts balks when I describe the project. Today at the Waxahachie TX Hobby Lobby Ms Shiela, with her gorgeous silver and black curls, helped me work out the measurements, MATHS!!!, Of the top and bottom fabrics with the width of the cotton batting. Josh the Assistant Manager was very friendly and kind when I came in to return an item purchased right before Covid hit. I called ahead and explained to Sarah what it was I needed to return or exchange, t I was looking for instead and around when I purchased it but that I did not have the receipt this long after the purchase. I was told there was no problem bring the furniture in and they would take care of me. When I arrived however there was a problem. The best craft/hobby/decorating store anywhere. If they don't have it, you don't need it. The only thing they're missing is a snack bar with tables, chairs, sandwiches, and fountain drinks. The customers here are rude and it was a really unpleasant experience at this hobby shop. No longer have take coupons. The lines were impossibly long and they did not offer to open more registers or offer any support. Would not recommend this place. read more

Absolutely walked out as you can never get help, associates see you and run. It's s shame, when I did manage to chase an associate down they were not at all helpful, could not even walk me to the product I was looking for. Worst hobby lobby I've been to. I'm from Washington so I'm not sure if the attitude here is because I'm not local or it's just how the stores are here, but it's definitely not what I'm used to. We were initially told the coloring books we wanted were on sale so we checked out then went back to grab several more and then we were told they weren't on sale. I also wanted some prisma colored pencils and Libby told me I should have asked someone back at that section to get them out of the glass case. I asked her if she was able to do so since I didn't see anyone back there, big eye roll. So then I decided to leave but I came back in because I didn't get to use my 40% off coupon. So I picked out some markers I wanted as a second choice since it didn't seem I'd be able to get my prisma pencils since it would tax Libby too much. Markers were on sale for 40% off without a coupon was what I was told by the customer service manager Libby and the person ringing me up, then a few seconds later she said they weren't on sale. I could see in the binder they had on the counter showing what items were on special that they were indeed on sale. So I said I wanted the sale price on them. It was such a mess of so many different stories and things being different prices depending on who you talk to. I told her I would like 40% off both of my items since I had a coupon and the other item was on sale anyway and then I would leave and let go of the negative experience. She scoffed at me and said she would not do that. I'm not sure why? I wasn't asking for a special favor, this is the deal I was supposed to get. I told her I felt she was being extremely rude and I wanted her name so I could report her and she said "that's just fine, you do that" and I said so you don't even care about being written up? She said she didn't care because she was right. Turns out she was not right. The item was on sale and I was supposed to be able to use my coupon on the other item and her manager confirmed that. I asked Libby if she was the highest up manager and she said no but I manage customer service. I said you don't seem like you're doing that job right now so please bring up the other manager here. When the other manager finally came to talk to us we said we wanted the correct price and we would leave and let all of this go and then Libby actually scoffed and laughed in our faces IN FRONT OF her manager. I told them it floored me as someone who's worked for many years in customer service to see such behavior. Everyone else who worked there was very nice and I feel sorry for them that they have to work under someone who has such a mean attitude. If she bullies and makes fun of customers like that, I can't imagine how she treats employees. I won't be shopping at hobby lobby ever again because it seems irresponsible to have a computer system that just lets anyone ring up the price for an item at whatever they want it to be. It makes no sense to me and I can't help but feel she just chose to Target me and take out how much she hates her job on me. read more

Shopping for holiday decorations made easy and fun. The staff is attentive, they have great sales and every visit is a real adventure!

This is my favorite Hobby Lobby location! The store is always very clean and organized. My only complaint is some of their items are displayed so close together that when you pick up an item you almost knock other items over. :/ read more

The new hasn't worn off this store yet, but so far I am really impressed. Most of the staff is knowledgeable about what is stocked in their department, and a bonus is that some of them also do crafts with the products in their department so they can tell you how to use them. I haven't seen anyone who isn't smiling or willing to help, and if the checkout lines get long, another one is opened. read more
