My coworker and I dropped by the store this afternoon to purchase some earrings. I needed to replace a broken pair, which I had purchased at this very store some years ago. As we were browsing around, we were followed around the store the entire time we were there. Mind you, none of the non-black patrons were being followed. To avoid being in the store longer than necessary, I asked for assistance to locate what I was looking for. I go over to that section and once again, here comes a store worker, acting as if she had to put product on the shelf in the same area and at the same time I was there. She did the exact same thing in a different aisle that we were in a few minutes prior. She did not to provide assistance or ask if I needed some help, her sole purpose was to keep a watchful eye as if I was there to steal something like a common thief. This was the same woman who was following my coworker and I. Never, in my 56 years on this planet have I ever been treated so poorly! I will never again patronize this store! If you are a person of color, please be mindful of where you spend your money. It definitely shouldn't be in spaces where we are not welcomed. #shoppingwhileblack!

The fact that you cannot return anything for anything but in-store credit, which makes sense for Goodwill, but not for these prices, and also that the rewards are only applied to other locations makes my experience feel less and less buyer-friendly - almost like I am supposed to feel privileged to get to shop at their store. The store is also well-staffed so multiple customers are helped at once and there isn't a long wait. I was able to walk in and have a new battery installed in my car within 15-20 minutes max. I'm sure some times are busier than others, but you know you'll be well taken care of! While I waited on my battery I browsed through all the car accessories and goodies. I left kinda wishing I'd bought a furry steering wheel cover or vanilla coconut air freshener or something. Maybe next time!
