However, after spending over an hour in the car to try to get here from my aunt's house in Greenville, I was rudely yelled at by the owner when entering the store. "We close in 6 minutes!!!" This was the beginning of the end for me... I live in Houston so I only get to come here when I'm in town visiting family or if I make a special trip to come stock up on fabric. I happened to be in town the weekend of Easter and tried to come here on the Friday before Easter, only to find a handwritten sign on the door that they were closed (for Good Friday) and would be open again the next day. That was a bummer, but I asked my husband if we could try to come back on Saturday as I bought fabric from here previously and I needed more of it. My family in the area lives in Greenville, so it was quite a drive to get here from their house. I saw here on Yelp that they close at 4:30pm, so we rushed and I ended up walking in 6 minutes to 4pm. How do I know this? Because as soon as I walked in, the owner screamed "we close in 6 minutes!!!" at me. I responded, "online says 4:30pm and I'm from out of town". She rudely replied "well online is wrong - we've tried to fix it but it's wrong". I rushed to grab my fabric and with 2 minutes left to 4pm, she yelled from the front "are you ready to check out?!" They had already rushed everyone else (all 2 other people) out the door and I was the only one left. Listen, I get that it was a Saturday and you're trying to go home....but you weren't open the day before due to a holiday and you now have a customer in front of you who's ready to spend money and also told you that she's in from out of town... To be treated so rudely, by the OWNER, nonetheless, is absolutely unacceptable. Next time I'm in town, I'm sticking to spending my money at the other 3 fabric warehouses next door as I will NOT be coming back to this place.

I wanted to sew a scrub cap for my surgeon DIL and get it to her within the week in time for Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. I finally found some on Amazon that came in a short time. Etsy would print fabric on demand but not get here til mid month. The store is beautifully arranged with nice fabrics and quilting accessories and the prices seemed very reasonable. Anyway, I was so impressed with the helpfulness and kindness I received and I didn't even buy anything. After two months, I had still not received any information about receiving my machine and kept getting the runaround when I would contact the company. only when I disputed the charge with my bank did I find out that they ordered the machine the next day and had it within two days. The bundle also included a 10 piece pack of embroidery threads. The 10 spools of thread that I received were not only the brand that was promised, but five of them were duplicates in color. This has been the most unprofessional experience that I could have imagined when ordering such an expensive machine. They again like previous reviews never gave any explanation nor have they even tried to reach out to complete my bundle. At this point, I have received the expensive machine so I am just writing off the rest of the cost as a loss. This company is not reputable and when I have mentioned to another machine location that I ordered a machine and had not received it, the clerk picked out the store by name without me saying any further. Not a good reputation to have in a community where there are many options of stores. I really wish I could reach out to the company representatives for my machine who deal with this company and would encourage them to have no further dealing with this sewing place. There wasn't any wait and the guy who cut my fabrics was friendly. The bolts were huge and I guess you're supposed to carry them yourself to the table...which would be a challenging task for a lot of people. The place was kind of a total mess and finding what you need is going to take time. I suppose it really comes down to WHAT you need. This place may be perfect depending on what you're looking for. I felt like if I were making a prom dress, there were tons of options. If you're making kids stretch clothes or swimsuits, you might not find what you need.
