I'm from the Bay Area and been to a lot of plant shops, but they don't compare to Asio Verde! My…read moregirlfriend and I came in on a Friday and Sofia (one of the owners/business partners) showed us around the store and the various plants that they have. She is extremely knowledgeable about her craft and gives us practical tips for plant care. Asio Verde also has a lot of unqiue plants that a lot of other stores do not have. Examples include variegated whale fin snake plant, variegated mini monstera, thai constellation monstera, albo monstera, silver sword pothos, and many more. Additionally, the prices they have in this store are lower than a lot of the bay area plant shops. They also have giveaways and bidding wars on their instagram live for various plants that they are growing! I've bid for a thai constellation ($75) and an albo ($100) which is a better price than you'd find on etsy or any other online store. If you are in Merced and a plant person, highly recommend you go to Asio Verde for beautiful plants at a great price.

He came up with multiple excuses and when we solved each one, including our retired (electrician) neighbor coming over, the delivery man said they had spent too much time! He was here about 30 minutes and very clueless. NOW,We will shop ONLY with independent businesses. Big box stores have no service and even worse employees with no manners or pride in their "work". Now we have to find a plumber-and we have a celebration this weekend (2days). Disgusting service and attitude. Merced Target just might be the smallest Target store I have been to. Just looking at it from the outside, it looked small. I had a pick up order, but I also had to run in and get a few more things during my short stay here. I made my in-store purchase first, then proceeded to the pick-up counter for my online order. There was a girl behind the counter, and she was busy sticking the mini fridge with drinks. I made noise a few times to alert her that I was standing there. She ignored me and went about continuing to stock the little refrigerator. I wondered how tf long she would let me stand there, so I didn't say anything. There was another employee next to her on the guest service side. She didn't say anything, either. I was never acknowledged. My friend had just finished paying for her things and walked over. I whispered to her that I'd been waiting a while. She did the "Excuse me, we're here to pick up?" and the girl finally said, "I'll be right with you." Smh. It's whatever. I got my things, but that's not the best customer service I've had. I still wonder how much longer I would have waited had my friend kept quiet. Apparently the Target in Atwater (next city over) is the place to be. I may end up there if I have to do another pick up.
