This might be the highest tech gas station I have ever been in. And I have been to a Buc-ee's, Wawa, and even Sheetz and yes this one would bear them all based on sheer technological advancement. It even just looks sleek from the outside, and I swear everything machine in the store was touch screen and just probably way more upscale than a gas station really needs to be. But, this did make it way more entertaining simply to walk in and see everything. They do also have a taco restaurant/ fast food type deal on one side as well. The worker who checked us out was quite nice. It's often said they do everything bigger and better in Texas, and this 7-Eleven takes that very seriously. I was looking for one of the new Elf on the Shelf posable elves and I hit the jackpot! It is a boy elf and he has wire in his arms and legs so it's easier to pose. And it was on sale for $35 instead of $50! Note on my purchase: the posable Elf on a Shelf is slightly bigger than the original so putting on clothing items is a little bit of a struggle. This store had a huge parking lot and was easy to get in/out. The checkout line was super short so I was able to be in my way quickly. Cashier was very friendly. I would definitely shop here again if in the area.

The name showed up on the screen as some random woman's name! I asked for a receipt and he refused to provide it. To make matters worse, after putting my items in a bag, he kept the bag on his side of the counter. I said, "My bag?!?" expecting him to hand it to me, but instead he said, "You're good" and just stared at me! Had to reach across the counter and grab it myself! I will not return. The smaller sizer equates to a very full house when inside shopping, getting eats, or using the extremely clean bathrooms. When we came through it was on a weekday and not one of the busier weekends. SO many people in such a small space and it's like bumper cars weaving their way through a maze of humans. Then bathrooms are smaller, but still very well kept and clean. The products are all the same, a lot with their signature logo. They have the bbq section, deli, sandwiches, pre made snacks, cookies, and all of the paraphernalia that is Buc-ee's. Gas is usually fairly inexpensive as well. Great place, just smaller, so be prepared to dodge some folks not only in the parking lot, but also in the store.
