If you want a Wal-Mart customer service experience this is the location to go to, their associates are beyond rude and unwilling to help, almost everything in the beauty section is locked up and some of their toys and clothing items are too, good luck trying to find someone to help you unlock an item at the beauty and/or at the electronics section. I rather pay a little bit more and shop at Target instead, nothing is locked up there and they don't treat you like a thief while exiting the store, at Wal-Mart they check your receipt and the items in your cart to make sure you paid for your stuff. read more

This review is actually for the girl who works in the photo department. Her name is Tamra. At Christmas I ordered 8 calendars as last minute gifts for family. When I got to the store the next evening to pick them up, I was told that my order was cancelled (which it was not)....yet they hadn't refunded me. It was Xmas eve, I was now stressed & Tamra saved me. Told me she would have the calendars ready within an hour. She was very pleasant, professional & sweet. I would definitely recommend her again for my photos. Thank you. read more

The customer service at this particular Walmart is terrible! If you call them to check stock on an item before heading down there, prepare to get disrespected & hung-up on, several times! Unbelievable..... In store isn't much better... STAY AWAY! Not sure where management is or if they even care, but goodness gracious I cannot understand how they are still in business. I wish I could've given them ZERO STARS!!!! But, YELP doesn't allow that low of a score. read more

They lock everything up. It's gotten to the point where they don't even trust the average consumer to put deodorant in there shopping cart. I would just suggest buying on Amazon since they at least pay there employees a tad better. read more

This store has turned into a garbage dump, started shopping at the Walmart neighborhood store in upland, loved it and then they remodeled last year and it went to hell! BUT there is hope, it's called prime pantry at Amazon and they ship it baby! They also take food stamps. They have prices comparable to Walmart and Winco. You buy so much they drop the shipping fee and take an extra 15% off. I say a huge yes! read more

The worst Walmart they locked everything i understand but just to wait for someone to open it the waiting is long i have waited for 2 hours so they could open it this was the worst i dred going after 7:00 am cause after that it dont work out ...and the registers awful i have waited in line for an hour i like going here but it got terrible read more

This place doesn't even deserve one star. I honestly expected the worse when trying to get at least store credit for some items but I was not aware of their "new" policy that says they cannot give store credit without a receipt or gift receipt. Plus they had no signs posted with this info. I would at least like an "I'm sorry but we are unable to...". Nope. Nothing! Not even a thank you as we walked away. My biggest pet peave is bad customer service... they REALLY need some training. Even the "assistant manager" wasn't apologetic when another customer was trying to return a defective item so of course the regular workers won't show some consideration! read more

OmFG I've never seen so many syringes on the ground. Literally ALL over the parking lot. I would never take my kid with me to this fontana. I am so disgusted WALMART read more

Hate Walmart? This would be exactly why! Besides the customers being rude all this staff here are rude with no intentions on helping you whatsoever! It seems like no matter what time I've tried to shop there either in the morning or in the night there's boxes all in the middle of the aisles were you can't even push your basket around. With staff stocking the shelves. I hadn't shop here 4 months. But my daughter was looking for film for her Polaroid camera. We arrived about 40 minutes before the store closed we found the film that we want it but it was a picture card. Which you had to take to a worker to get you the product. After waiting around for a little while in the electronics department we did not see any staff. So I walked around and found the worker asked for help she pointed me to another worker. After being sent to a total of four different workers. I had to put my foot down and ask for the manager. I told the manager what happened and the morbidly obese lady said electronics closes at nine and walked away. I had to stop her in her tracks and tell her as a manager you should inform your workers so that they don't send customer is running in circles! I ended up ordering the product as I was walking back to my car via Amazon. Honestly drive an extra 5 to 10 minutes to your nearest target! read more

I have to say, Walmart is not known for customer service very often. But today I had a very good encounter in the elecktronicks department. A young man I believe his name is Andrew assisted my husband and I. He was very friendly and very helpful to us and we really appreciated him answering all our questions. We definitely would come back to this store so that we can speak with him. Thanks Andrew for the great customer service!! read more

So I'm trying to call the electronics department to pick up an online order I made over 2 weeks ago claiming it was going to be ready on the 21st , now it's the 25th and it still says it's delayed so of course I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with my order but NO ONE IS ANSWERING THE PHONE! I keep getting sent to the lady that transfers the calls. My first call was over 30 minutes and I had to hung up because I got another call from my sister. Then I decide to call again , waited for 20 minutes and got hung up on ... horrible service!!! read more

They never fail to amuse you with the worst service. Everyone always trying to avoid you and if you ask them to help you locate something or answer a simple question/direction they snuff and act bothered by you. read more

I feel horrible about the harassment the employees have to undergo because of the new system of everything being locked behind glass doors. There are not enough employees and people have to wait more then 10 min to get a deodorant. Walmart need to do something about this or else they will lose all customers. I won't be surprised if Walmart's start shutting down due to no consumers. I will never shop there again. Only reason why I went today was because I was given a gift card. read more

I came to receive an online order curbside pick up and there was a rude ass employee by the name of Nicolas that was attending the pick ups. I got out of the car as I have picked up plenty of times and always takes like 30min for some one to attend you. Comes out screaming about I have ro move I can't be getting out the "damn car" because he has 3 orders and there's 8 cars. That's not my fault . We exchanged some words till he got to the point " my name is Nicholas and you can go ahead and complaint like the rest of the people, won't be the first time". I had the time to get down, complaint, and buy items, go back to the car where my wife was waiting for the delivery and wait 10 more minutes for the same guy I just complaint to the manager about to show up and give us our things. Nothing was done about it. Horrible customer service! read more

We went to Walmart on 17251 Foothill blvd in Fontana we purchased an Apple product and when we got home it had a cheap Belkin item!!! We came back to walmart immediately so they (Angel and Whona) 'managers came to tell us we need to come back tomorrow because they have to review cameras!!!! Are you fucken serious! They didn't check this when someone came and probably got money back but we paid full price for an item that we didn't get!!! Please share and make it viral this is disgusting customer service at walmart! read more

Don't even bother calling this Walmart for basic information. I tried setting an appointment to install new tires and no one answered. I waited 5 minutes on the phone, just ringing and no answer. So I call the main line and same thing, just rings no answer. read more

Today my wife, 2 kids and I went to pick up an order we placed online. A Walmart employee (Nicholas) asked if we wanted our items placed in the back seat or in the back of our truck. I replied, in the back seat please. After placing our order in the back seat he (Nicholas) while pulling his mask down very rudely told my wife, make sure next time you want us to put your order in the car you wear a mask! I responded by saying this was our 1st time ever picking up an order and we didn't know. I asked to speak to his supervisor. He proceeded by walking up to my wife's window and started cursing at my wife, kids and myself in front of a lots of other customers and employees. Not once did I use any profanity towards him. I asked another employee that was working at the door if he can please get a supervisor for me. His response was, it's not my job.. Another employee who seen what was happening went inside and called a supervisor for me. Hope they reprimand this employee for his lack of people skills and Unprofessionalism. read more

This Walmart isn't the best it's preety messy and unorganized but it is the only one in Fontana

Absolutely the worst customer service, DO NOT come to this location. I bought a tv from here, got hole & it was shattered. I called to tell them I would be going back to exchange it. The lady was rude on the phone & said bring it to "see if they will take it back" but okay I understand your busy. I came back to exchange it, arrived at 10:10, & a girl with red hair came up to me & said "if you're trying to return that, they're closed" & I asked "can I exchange still?" & she said "idk go ask" so I went to ask & customer service (who was on the phone saying "oh yeah babe I'm leaving right now, going to fabric & then smoking") said "sorry I can't help you, we closed at 10." & walked away. They should have told me that on the phone instead of having me carrying a 45 inch tv in the store, as well as my 5 month old daughter. Thank you for nothing walmart read more

I first went to the Walmart store in Rancho Cucamonga on Foothill St. Where I initially purchased the Easter clearance items. I was disappointed at that location they did not except returns on holidays clearance items. Even with a receipt.. I decided to call the Fontana location on Foothill St. I spoke to Angel in customer service department. Inquiring about their after holidays / Easter items I bought on clearance. She informed me they do except returns on after holidays items. But only on conditions that the items is still in good standing/ sale able conditions. She recommend for me to bring it in and go from there. I walked in 30 min. later. Two of the ladies in the return department were not sure if they can except my returns. From their facial expression, they don't seem pleased in assisting me. Luckily for me Angel happened to walk out in the middle of my conversation with them. One of them asked Angel if they can make a return on clearance Easter merchandise . Angel came over to inspect that it's still in good condition gave them a go ahead and except my returns with a receipt. They still questioned her authority , Angel stopped to explained to the two ladies the store return policy ( Uuggh really) . With that said, they continued with my returns wearing a frown on their face. read more

If only I could give it zero stars. Walmart isn't the nicest place to shop in general but this one is the worst of the worst. Never clean. Horrible customer service. Went to get ONE can of spray paint and I waited for 30 minutes for someone named Josie to come open the cabinet. She never came. Plenty of associates saw us waiting, none offered help. After waiting for so long we just left everything we were planning to purchase on the paint counter. Last time going to that Walmart. read more

Another reason to hate Walmart. I call first to see if they have stuff for paintball and the person in sporting goods tells me "Yes, we have everything you need for paintball". So I hop in my car and head over (reluctantly since I hate Walmart). Once I get there I ask an associate where I can find said paintball gear and ammo, he points me to the general direction...nothing there. So I ask another associate and he says they don't have anything for paintball...I ask one more person and he helps me look and he is confused as to why he can't find it. So I find a manager and he says, "Yeah, we should have some stuff for you, follow me". We get to the area and he can't find it, he goes to the back to check and nothing. I HATE THIS WALMART. I only came because it is the only thing open right now. The managers & employees are useless! read more

Nice people working there, but save your time and energy if you: 1. Need any type of assistance - their calls for someone seem to go unheard ....it's been over 20 minutes waiting for someone to just open the paint shelf to get last item....finally got someone and it took all of 10 seconds to open shelf and hand me paint. 2. Self checkout is a joke - Never more than 1 or 2 at max if you are lucky. The store person ell even told me they dread being called to self checkout duty because they are always broken. If they don't upgrade this store, amazon for me from now on. read more

Now I realized why they only 1 1/2 stars because their customer service is horrible management is horrible who ever hires those managers they need to be fired too how can I spend over $4000 in a Walmart and when I drop paint they won't replace it like are you fucking kidding me there is no sign that says you drop it there is no replacement even Lowe's and Home Depot return for accidents fuck fuck that Walmart I'm never going back I will rather drive to the one in Ontario read more

This is Wal Mart is filthy, the parking lot is disgusting. You have people soliciting you selling tamales, parking lot is dark and dirty. Inside floors are dirty and don't go into the restroom, they smell and are dirty. Store front you can tell has never been cleaned, old gum on floor. Entrance looks cluttered and dirty. The associates are unprofessional and lines are long. I rather driver a little further and shop at Target going forward. read more

Very disappointed in this store. I shopped for a Father's Day gift and bought as in package the right size under shirts. So when my husband opens them it turns out instead of size and brand it says on package it's a smaller size in bag. Ghetto ass people shop here and do the stupidest things. They switch out packages. The is why I always shop at Target. It's more decent and shit like this don't happen. I knew I shouldn't have came here. Unorganized and bad phone service, people never answer it after opening hours. I give it a negative star if it was possible. read more

This place is hood, first off its in fontana not Rancho Cucamonga. Homeless people are allowed to run and live in parking lot. If you cross under the 15 free way, magically no more homeless. City of fontana does nothing to control the panhandlers and people sleeping in bushes. I have actually witnesses a fist fight over "territory". You know the exit by in n out, I've seen bums fighting over who has the right to stand their and beg for money. Sad but true. The reason I posted this was due to a recent trip to pick up some site to store items. The line was aprox 30-45 mins long, when I finally reached the front, they could not find half my order. Total confusion and understaffed in the customer service dept. they have three employees shareing one computer as they attempt to fill customers site to store orders as well as run the photo department. Not to mention its a mess, employees are tripping over boxes of cardboard as they try to process orders. Complete mess, never got the second half of my Order. Ordering off Walmart.com is inconvenient read more

They never answer the phone and when they do they leave you waiting for ever. Awful service.

I normally don't leave reviews or comments but wow this is bye far the wurst process I have ever seen I hope this really gets to management .. read more

The only thing that I will complain about is that whenever you go in to purchase something, it's usually just empty places where things should be. I've taken my sister to go get makeup and false lashes and each time we've gone it's still empty...kind of like they never refilled it. Than the other thing I've noticed is, the selection this Walmart has of food has really dwindled down. I'm thinking maybe because they want to open more Walmart Neighborhood stores that's why it's gotten like that. Last, the bathrooms are gross. Either all the toilet paper be spread out on the floor, all the toilet seat covers be completely empty, wet floors in the stalls. Or even if someone has just cleaned it (yes I've been in there right after it had just been done.) But the bathrooms smell so bad! I'm not sensitive to smells but I have to hold my breath. Maybe an air freshener or two will help that. Honestly though, my experience weren't so bad that I'm never coming back, I will continue to shop here. Just maybe a note to Walmart, just put a little TLC into your store and I think it can make it way more inviting. read more

This Walmart has just locked up all their cosmetics. There is one "help" button to call an employee over to open up the cosmetics in the whole 4 aisle section....but guess what?! It doesn't work. There are no employees around that are willing to help. Walmart if you're gonna lock up stuff have people available to help! Might as well take that section off since no one will be able to buy anything from that area. I had to go to the front registers to have someone open the L'Oréal section, then the employee does not hand it to you till it's paid for. O. This day I also went to buy plastic rain coats,, they were all over the place but nothing I needed. The store was not stocked with a lot of empty pegs and shelf's. I will now buy things I normally get at Walmart at Amazon ... no more Walmart for me ever. read more

don't come here bruh asked the guy for help he left and went somewhere else ridiculous he said just a minute and walked away

They need to improve the service in the cosmetic isle, everything is locked and nobody is there to help you, there was about 6 customers waiting for someone to open it and this girl comes over and she has an attitude she's getting the items requested and she's literally throwing them into a shopping cart and she takes them to the register and she's also the cashier in cosmetics so the line was so big because people was waiting for her, employees were passing by but none of them have the key to open this locks so is very frustrating, I will never go back to buy any beauty/hair supplies, Avoid the stress and go somewhere else. read more
