Only tried to deliver the package once, didn't try to deliver it again or give an option to pick it up at location. Just canceled the order without refunding the money. When I called the 1 800 number for help with my order, my customer service agent couldn't speak English and I could not understand them. when I asked a question or clarification they would give me an answer that I could not understand or nothing to do with what I asked. All I got out of the conversation is that I had to reorder my order to get it and they are holding my money to make sure U can paid for my order that I have not received??????????? Nothing made sense. The worst customer service, how can you get help from someone who can't speak English!!!!!!! So I ordered my order again, this time choosing pick up at a store location. I got an email the next day saying my order was ready for pick. I thought ok this going well. Maybe I just have to order for pick up at a store location. The email said to let them know you are coming to pick up your order by clicking this link. I clicked the link and nothing happened. I went to the store. No one was at customer service and it took 5 minutes to find someone to help. I let them know I clicked the link on the email I received and I am here to pick up my order. They checked the system and said they don't have any picks at the store. I gave him my information for my order, they called for someone over the PA system then was doing something on their cellphone even though there was a line up of people behind me???????? After 5 minutes or so they finally got off their cellphone called the person on the PA again then helped another customer. I waited for over 15 mins for someone to come to the customer service desk to help them with my order. While I was waiting I noticed a more than four employees talking groups and being on their cellphones texting or doing something other than working or helping customers while people where self checking themselves out. I thought WOW is this what it has come too!!!!!! Walmart making more money off their customers for not having to pay for cashiers for check out and have their customers check themselves out while their employees are being paid to play or text on their cellphones, ignoring customers. I finally got my order after 20 mins in the store. They told me the link in the email only works if you are close to the store and you can only use it in the app not in emails on your computer. When I got home I noticed I got charged for the first order that didn't come and the second order. I am working with my credit card company to sort that out. Why did I get charged twice???? I still don't know and the people at the store didn't know either. I hate Amazon and I don't order from them but after this experience I might have to go back. Has to be one of the worst stores ever. If you can find someone who speaks English, still won't get help (tested this multiple times asking where ziploc bags, tooth brushes and silverware were, none could give me an answer) somehow 9/10 times I go there for certain people things and most aren't there. Quite shocking how staff will be face down on their phones and walk right into you if you don't move out of their way, the short orange haired guy with glasses in the self checkout will yap your ear off and won't stop until you turn around and walk away even when you say "ok I have to go now". Wasn't a huge fan of seeing the bird crapping/standing on the items in the produce department either. Massive rats live in swarms outside by the loading bay. Gross place to shop overall read more

oct 5 at walmart store#1181 Canoe Pass Way. Item rang in as $4.88 at the self check out register but the exact brand, size, and item in the weekly flyer states it was $2.88. Supervisor, Bhuvak A, refused to even acknowledge the flyer price despite me showing it to her and asking her to read it. She refused to even look at the flyer! i went to supervisor in customer service counter and the supervisor there was very kind, calm, and professional and acknowledged the flyer price and my item is identical so honored the sale price. During my convo with the new customer service supervisor, Bhuvak interrupted our convo at least 3 or 4 times in her MOTHER TONGUE to the other supervisor speaking poorly of me when i am standing right there. the other supervisor even calmed Bhuvak down 3 or 4 times for her to be quiet. Is it professional and appropriate for employees to be speaking in their own mother tongue when customers are right infront of them and for Bhuvak to berate the customer infront of other customers. Bhuvak needs ore customer service as she is young and needs to know HOW to de-escalate a situation iso escalating it like she did. When i returned home, it dawned on me that perhaps she cannot read or even read English for that matter??!! because otherwise why would she not even look at the flyer when it said FAT FREE ....AT any management level, there needs to be professionalism and appropriate customer service which Bhuvak lacked. We contacted their customer service and they said that we need to to prove that the item was missing. How can you possibly ever prove that? This is a Walmart Super Center. There are not a lot of Super Center in BC. Super Center means that it has groceries, clothing, photo, electronics and much more. So much stuff. Its big here. Prices are so so. I mean I am not a big fan of shopping at Walmart. Its kind of out of the way for me. Its big and can be a one stop place. But I am into prices more than anything else. Friend came here wanting to grab storage containers. Well they have lot more selection in terms of sizes for storage container compared to other places, like Superstore etc. (I am not big on container because my place is small and no place to store things, renting storage area is too expensive). Its not that busy here. Parking lot is huge. But I guess Tsawwassen Mills isn't completely open and second of all its out of the way for a lot of people and for those two reason, Walmart is pretty quiet inside. read more

If you want a quiet time at a Walmart, well you are in luck, this one maybe the one you are looking for. Most people would have been lured over to Tsawwassen Mills and hope to find savings as all outlet shoppers do, which then leaves the outstretches of this shopping plaza, and one of those places is this place. I don't frequent this area often, but the 3 times I have been here, it is nice and quiet, to the point it feels like I don't see anyone in here, let alone workers? The lights are on, the isles are empty and even the produce area is all prettied up, hoping someone picks through things. Yes, this is a SuperCenter, whatever that means anymore, as it seems all Walmart's I have been to have some sort of produce aisle, with fridge and freezers to milk you in on getting the milk before you leave. Everything you see at your Walmart, this one does... the same, but newer.. as the wear and tear of people traffic hasn't affected this place at all, it has been around for a year and it still feels like it opened yesterday from that new store smell. From buying food, clothing, electronics, pet food, and every other thing you can think of.. you can walk in here, and walk out doing self checkout, and probably not be greeted, or talk to anyone or have to acknowledge anyone saying anything to you, and you are out of here pretty quickly, where it won't get quick is when you walk inside and realize... this place is actually pretty big in size and scope. This is probably one you won't be going to if you do not live in the area, but always nice to know that something like this is around, when you don't want to name brand it up at Tsawwassen Mills... but then why would you come here unless you really needed something? read more

Oh my God another horrible shopping experience. So I'm working up here I'm not from Canada. And I go to Walmart and buy some stuff. I get there late and I know Walmarts closing and actually get out just as the place is closing at 11 PM. I'm rushing around trying to get the few things I want, milk water and I picked up a couple piece of the clothes cause I'm up here for a long time working now. So some gentleman who's not dressed as an employee search giving me signals with his eyes. Finally he walks up to me and he says we're closing. And I said I know and I had just grabbed what I needed which was a half gallon of milk for my coffee. Because I like milk in my coffee. Even though I shouldn't put milk in my coffee or even drink coffee I like milk in my coffee and I wanted some milk! My basic intent to shop at Walmart. Yes I'm ranting and raving because what came to follow was another classic example of non-customer service. I grabbed a small basket with wheels to take my items to the checkstand. It was a self check out and I need a little bit help because I was also being washed by another gentleman like a hawk. I bought milk water robe, a couple T-shirts and a hat. So there's no bags anywhere. None to purchase, none to use. No one tells me that I need a bag to get the stuff out to my car, which I'll happily take it to my car and put it in there in no bag. So it's like barely 11 if it is 11 yet and the doors and now locked. I had to go back in and tell them the doors are locked. When the guy comes To unlock the door. You know tells me that I can't take the basket outside. So now I gotta walk to my car with a case of water in a half gallon of milk and a bunch of other groceries read more

There are many services missing here. There is no tire shop, no sales of tires, no McDonald's. What they do have which is unique is Amazon type: scan and go. Additionally, some of the staff are great and friendly, while the others who have accents aren't very ethical. For example, should there be a scanning error where the item scanned is more expensive than the posted or advertised price, customer service, including the manager will refund you the difference....but they won't give the item to you for free, up to a value of $10 as per their scanning code of practice unless you ask for it. With other stores who have the same code of conduct, you don't even have to ask. They automatically do it. read more

I am over 80 and returned to Walmart store Tsawwassen. Again No hand sanitizer. , A gentleman, I think is the manager, asked if I needed help. I asked when would they have the hand SANITIZER again. He was so polite and respectful telling me they were out but I could ask the pharmacist..again the answer was NO, sorry. Maybe I should come early in the morning for seniors shopping. I explained that I have a husband with Alzheimers and had to wait for a nurse to look after my husband. He looked at me and I must have looked so tired and sad! He gave me his OWN LITTLE BOTTLE and insisted that I should take it.....I was so grateful and so overwhelmed....he put some sunshine in my old heart....God bless that wonderful man.... read more

I want to say first off I was pleasantly surprised by an interaction I had with the Assistant Store Manager at this Walmart. You see I bought online a child's bicycle that I wanted for my companies annual toy drive. After my purchase I received two emails, one saying Walmart got my order and a second one saying it would be ready for pickup at the Tsawwassen Walmart sometime later in the day. A little after 6:30pm I received a third email stating my order was canceled and I would get a refund. No reason given. I decided to go to this Walmart after both online enquires and phone calls yielded nothing. At the store I asked for a manager and after a short wait I was greeted my Assistant Store Manager Arvind Verma, who first apologized for my frustration on not getting an answer to why my order had been canceled and then proceeded to suggest we go look a kids bicycles they had in stock. To our surprise they did have the bicycle I wanted in their store. At customer service Arvind proceeded to ring up my purchase and also gave me a very nice discount, which I told him he did not have to, but he insisted. Now that's customer service at it's finest. Walmart Canada this manager is a credit to this store and I will happily continue to shop there. read more

Was so looking forward to this store opening in our immediate area....but SO disappointed. Not a superstore at all, selection of clothes and shoes, especially for women, is very poor. Some departments are ok for selection, however since women tend to do most of the shopping, I was dismayed to find the women's clothes section to be disappointing for quality and selection, and shoes and purses are almost non-existent. Have spoken to other locals and they were all of the same opinion. Most of them, myself included, agreed the White Rock Walmart store is so much better and we will be taking our trade there, even with having to drive the longer distance. Sad that a much anticipated store is so disappointing. read more

Crappy service, was waiting almost an hour for someone to come to the entertainment area so I could buy a Nintendo 2DS and Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon to play while on my breaks at work. They called someone down multiple times and nobody showed up to help me into the case to pick them up. And then to top it off the 2DS I bought is broken, I opened it to set it up and get it ready for while on my break and the screen shoes what my old DSi does, a black screen with cracks throughout it and dead pixels all over the place, I can't take it back because the lady didn't even give me a receipt when I bought the items. If you're wanting good customer service and friendly staff to help you out I would not recommend going to this Wal-Mart. read more
