However, they also have many reasonable price teacups and tea set which are very pretty as well. The most impressive thing in this tea shop is the warm hospitality provided by the owners. This couple invited me to have some tea tasting while I am browsing in the shop. There was few more customers came by while I am trying the tea, they came to chat with the owners and have a cup of tea. Their stopping by visit totally touch my heart, the tenderness relationship are a luxury item in nowadays while people are rather to focus on electronic devices but detached from real communications.

I alao enjoy browsing their soap, bath and skincare area. I love their Lollia and Tokyo Milk lotions, especially Tokyo Milk's "Rose", "Honey Moon" and "Let them Eat Cake" handcreams. Although a bit on the pricey side, this is my to-go to store for teas. The teas have strong great flavor, not like the weak tasting tea bags you get at grocery stores. I also like that there are no pushy sellers like the commission-hungry staff at Teavana, and the atmosphere at David's Tea stores feels minimal and cold. Nikaido feels so warm and friendly whenever I visit, and the staff leave me alone to browse for as long as I like. I highly recommend this boutique for tea lovers. You won't be disappointed!

I found a new addition to the shop since I was there last -- Tejo handcrafted stone decor. With a couple of shelves devoted to displaying a limited selection of their soapstone crafts. Very cool stuff. I looked and admired. Left the shop with two, crochet-crafted tulips, and a ceramic mug. One of the flowers will look just right in a vase purchased at the shop next door. Not sure, at this time, whether I will use the mug for hot beverages, or as a vase, for a grouping of flowers. Time will tell -- at present, just pondering and admiring. I am glad to have devoted this time to returning to Churi. It is a fine shop, with such lovely displays of rather unique crafts and related products. And my purchase will provide memories to "keep in touch".

It's located street level next to a popular Mexican restaurant along 6th St New West and its packed full of goodies sure to please any metaphysical shopper. I had not been inside before and had no set agenda, but quickly found a few things I needed. They sell nice bags of white sage leaves for only $4.95 each, much cheaper than Reflections in Coquitlam, Banyen books, and all who charge $10+ for these. I commented on how hard it was to find loose sage and this woman said she always stocks it- Yay! I bought 3 bags and she assured me she would be ordering more as usual. There are lots of greeting cards, books, candles, beautiful jewellery ~ a great selection at terrific prices- nicely displayed. A bin of pretty pendants, with amethyst, rose quartz and clear quartz for only $6.95 each caught my eye~ I will buy some of these for Xmas stocking stuffers. Lots of parking out front and inexpensive lots nearby ~ great location - I will definitely be back for the prices, selection and laid back, but super friendly and personable service I got here.
