Never left a yelp review for Walmart but today I stopped at this one and I was surprised. Walked in place was clean and bright. Not cluttered with stuff everywhere. Employees walking around maintaining store. And they seemed friendly. 4-5 registers were open plus the self check ones which was great. Store was stocked and organized. I shop at Walmart usually they are dirty sticky floors, miserable employees who are rude or clueless. Not this one so good for them. The management seems to care and does good things with this one. read more

First off, I can never find parking, there are always so many people fighting each other over a space. Secondly, once I go inside I can never find anything I'm looking for, I can go around the store so many times and it's a never ending cycle. Thirdly, I can never find anyone to help me, what could be a quick 5 minutes at the store turns into an hour. And lastly, the lines are ridiculous. There are about 12 or more registers and only a few people working like 3 of those registers. It is time consuming to come here, so unless you have nothing to do and time to kill, it's not worth it. read more

Went to Walmart last night with a friend and had a truly wonderful experience. The men in the pick up area were delightful and helped us receive, load and check out our new tv. Can't wait for our next Walmart moment. read more

1)Ratchet 2)Dirty 3)Unorganized 4)Language barrier Will not recommend....target is close by and far more friendlier, cleaner, organized, and can understand when I need help. I have been there multiple times for the photo prints. everytime I go-there is never an employee there. always having to wait to see if maybe they just stepped out for a minute and then having to wave the excess employees clustered around technology cashier. read more

Need to get a manager with management skills. Store is always dirty and disorganized.

Where do I begin. Empty shelves. Scattered merchandise. Unfriendly employees. Dim lighting. Took me quite a while to find what I was looking for as the shelves were unorganized and price tags were missing. Would not recommend. read more

Ok. In desperation went back to wm in search of matzo meal. No other store had it in stock so bit the bullet and entered land of bigotry. When I asked if they had a kosher section the clerk smirked derisively and informed they replaced kosher with German food. Thought himself quite the satirical comic. How about some attention to diversity training Walmart? The clerks behavior was not only inappropriate but also quite disturbing! read more

Customer service stinks, employees barely speak English, cash out lines have a wait of 20 minutes, and things are never where they are supposed to be. read more

Tried to call. Kept getting hung up on. Woman could not speak English. There are certainly jobs that a non-English speaker can perform perfectly well in any store but answering the phone is NOT one of them. Tried to reach the pharmacy. Kept getting told, "Sorry, they're just not answering." Asked to speak to a manager. Was hesitantly told "they're in a meeting right now?" as if it was a question. This is the absolute worst. read more

Probably the worst Wal-Mart I've been to. Things are always out of stock, the building is small which doesn't help anything cause aisles are cramped. Check out times are usually very long as well. read more

Dirty store, terrible parking, rude employees (but I'm sure they are just miserable and under paid), the so called fresh fruits have flies and bugs on them, coolers leak on the floor, long wait times in the checkout lane constantly. I will never shop here again. read more

Do you want to go to a place where parking is horrible, the minute you get out of your car people are asking for money? Would you like to have that little feeling of a third world country without spending money on a vacation? Well guess what Walmart in Danbury, CT can provide those things and much more. Don't say I didn't warn you lol read more

Ordered a salad bowl on line to save time. Went to pick it up and the pick up counter is as far away from the door as you can get and still be in the store. Set up so that you have to walk the entire store and maybe buy something. So I did a little shopping, (even though I knew I was clearly being played.) Got to the pick up counter and no one was there. Pressed the button to call an associate, waited five minutes. When no one appeared after five minutes I left. They had gotten enough of my time. Compare that to Target pick up. Walk in, go to your left, someone is there. Walmart probably has the lowest prices. But if you compare them to Target, who respect my time, you're saving pennies on an item. read more

Better than most walmarts in Fairfield county for selection and selection. I received good service at the customer help counter. Checking out is fast. Stock is good, better than Norwalk Wilton. Norwalk Wilton is always running low on everything. At least I could find things here at the Danbury store! Parking isn't bad... read more

The worst. Absolutely, the worst Walmart I've every been to and I've been to quite a few in several states including NC, SC, TN, CA, FL, NY - and this is the worst, by far. It's dirty, filthy, nasty. I don't even believe that all of the employees speak English. The shelves are always in disarray. The floors look like they haven't been washed in ages. But, it wasn't always like this. When it first opened and for many years after, it was great. Just your average Walmart and it was neat and tidy and you could actually communicate with the employees when needed. Now, it's ghetto and oh so gross. The demographics have totally changed and I don't even feel comfortable going there at night, at least not without my mace and cell phone ready to call 911. Seriously, it's disgusting. Low class to no class. It's very indicative of what's happening to Danbury. People can claim how diversity is such a beautiful thing, but when it's right in your own backyard with people that don't take care of themselves, their environment, their home, their yard, and are just looking for that next handout, things get ugly real fast. read more

For whatever the reason is, like the Bradlees this Walmart replaced many moons ago, this location has several recurring issue; cleanliness, stock, and service are generally in need of improvement. The open shelving that is currently in place has somewhat improved the C-S-S, but when compared to other Connecticut Walmart locations, which are relatively close by, namely New Milford or even Naugatuck, Wilton, this location always seems to be in need of work, either the physical (stock, cleanliness) or mental (service). There seems to be a pervasive aura of being overwhelmed in this location. It must be the location as the Bradlees that preceded this Walmart had the same issues as well. read more

My local Walmart. The reason for only two stars is that the prices are reasonable but the customer service isn't great. I was innself check out and there was an error and an employee by the name of Ryan came to help me but didn't say a word to me as to what the problem was. Then he walks away tontalk to another employee who I believe was a manager but still no response to what is going on. Now I'm standing there waiting for some type of answer but Ryan went back to what he was doing and left me standing there with no answer or anything explaining what happening. Now Margret the service supervisor comes over and starts to fix the problem, but still nothing was said or explained as to what was the issue. I continue to stand there waiting for an explanation but all she was looking to do was to resolve the problem rather then to provide information as to what is going. Now she states to Ryan that she is going to call service and leaves. Ryan then turns to me and let's me know that give it about 5 to 10mins for someone else to come. Now I know the prices are good and some may think this to be petty but I'm spending my money here and my experience should be nothing less then how Walmart is advertised. read more

Went to photo center, as we were using the kiosks, three other customers were waiting in line with problems. There was no one to be found and employees kept going to find someone else to help and never returned. We thought we were fine in dealing with the kiosk, we selected the 1 hour pickup option and went and did some little shopping and roamed. When we came back they said they didn't have the pictures and we would have to come back tomorrow. On top of that only half the order went through and thank goodness we noticed before leaving. We ended up canceling the order and will never be using Walmart photo center ever again. read more

Went in to get a few things, one i couldn't find , so asked an associate, but he looked at me like i was nuts..he couldn't understand English, at all so just stood there looking at me ..this isn't the first time this has happened recently in that store, and it's a total JOKE! You go down a few isles and there are two more associates re stocking shelves across from one another and they are talking loudly back and fourth to each other in Spanish and clearly rude to customers, especially ones that are not their own kind. Apparently Walmart no longer cares about it's customers that do not speak or understand Spanish, and since when can you even get a job when you can't understand or speak English?Guess this is the new norm for catering to these immigrants that are too Lazy and disrespectful to take the time to learn this countries Language! I won't be going to Walmart any longer..will go elsewhere! read more

Hate this store, when you ask for help they say "no speak English". Management does not care ( went to manager total useless person). Do Not spend your money at Walmart, and do not call me racist - just want info on where my wants are stocked on the shelf! read more

very rude customer service (older woman with curly/kinky blonde hair) never puts the customer first! Also can never find a knowledgeable English speaking employee to help find what I am looking for! The Wallmart located at 67 Newtown Rd Danbury, CT 06810 is "terrible". The store is always dirty and extremely desorganised. I'm from Danbury and if I need to go to Wallmart I prefer to go to Wallmart located at New Milford. The Danbury Wallmart is a dump compared with the Wallmart in New Milford or any other store around. 0 star read more

Well let me start with my walmart experience today I went to the store with my 4 year old and on my shopping list there was maple syrup. I asked one Walmart employee and she told me she did not speak English ..I asked another Walmart employee and she did not know what maple syrup was also a spanish speaking woman.. the third Walmart employee I asked was a manager at the customer service desk he told me they must be out of maple syrup.. I in turn said you can't be out of maple syrup that doesn't make sense and found it on my own...tons of it all in the isle next to the cereal isle...The people who work in the store are completely incompetent dont bother going unless you absolutely have to go to Target instead trust me read more

The store is dirty. I have been here multiple times this past year, and it is always filthy and run down in appearance. I always vow never to return, but somehow I am lured back. This past visit, I waited in like almost 1/2 hour to return an item for a friend. The cashier allowed multiple people purchasing money orders to cut in front of the line. The associate I dealt with this past visit was very rude. I don't hate Walmart. I have been to other locations and had great experiences in clean stores, but this place is a dump. Bring your Spanish Dictionary, because if you need assistance from a store associate, they will pretend that they don't speak a word of English. read more

I hate to give even one star. I bought a DVD reader that had way more features than I needed because I was desperate to get one, but specifically asked when i bought it what the return policy was and was told 90 days. i then found the one I really needed on the same trip at Best Buy. Due to deadlines and time constraints, I did not get back to Walmart to return it (still in bag, never opened) for 16 days. The woman at the counter informed that the return policy for electronics was only 15 days and since I was one day late, they could not accept it. I was stunned and asked to speak to a manager and she told me that she was a manager. Worst customer service ever!!! I will NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING ST THIS STORE AGAIN!!!! read more

Sad store. They need a super Walmart here. It is cramped and workers not really helpful!
