While traveling from Jacksonville to Orlando, I picked up something in my tire and had to wait for AAA to install my spare so I could make it to Discount Tire. These tires were only a week old, so I was stressed and hoping someone could help. At 4:30 PM, I called the Ormond Beach store to see how late they would be there. I explained my situation, and Curt told me they would wait for me. I called again at 5:45 PM--just fifteen minutes before closing--to let him know I was still on my way, and he didn't hesitate to say it was no problem. I arrived at 6:03 PM with my 10‑year‑old spare on the truck. Even though they were already closed, the team stayed, checked everything thoroughly, and confirmed the tire couldn't be repaired due to the size of the damage. They didn't have my tire size in stock, but they made sure my spare was safe enough to get me home to Orlando. Being in a customer‑service‑driven field myself, I can confidently say these guys were a 12/10. They went above and beyond, stayed late, and treated me with genuine care. Curt and team--thank you again for your outstanding service and kindness.

He told me the part needed was about $70 and pointed out that part of the door had been put together with duct tape. I don't know who put the tape there, but it added to my concerns about the car's condition and the original quote. I understand the cost of a part doesn't include labor; I simply wanted a clear explanation of the charges. I felt dismissed for asking reasonable questions.
