Strange story, horrible service. Brought my car to a mechanic shop, needed whell balancing to fix vibration. My mechanic sent the wheels to Firestone. Firestone said they only worked on 2 (my car actually has 4 wheels, not 2!) and it STILL vibrates from imbalance just like when I brought it in. This was the SECOND time I paid to have this done- STILL never actually did the work. On top of that, they lost the center caps for the wheels and now I have to purchase replacement caps for the ones they lost. Overall, terrible service and caused me to have to replace parts they lost -- all while I paid TWICE to get this done and now have to find a reputable shop to actually get the work done (third time to pay for a very simple tire balancing). But at least the service from Firestone was consistent - they always seem to do really bad work, so at least I was prepared for this. Moral of the story-- go ANYPLACE but Firestone if you need proper work on your vehicle. Lesson learned. read more

Had a big road trip from east to west coast Florida. I called another 4-5 star place for an oil change appt. They never got back to me. Time running out before the trip I took a chance on this Firestone. Even worse...I was going to try a walk-in. Believe me, I saw the poor reviews and was nervous. But my gf's grandma is a long time customer and said they always treated her right. Well, I'm glad I came in. Lucked out and they weren't too busy. After a quick chat with Brad, he rush ordered the special oil my Dodge Challenger (SRT with scat pak) needed and got the beast in the bay and they went to work immediately. I know it's hard finding a good auto shop and everyone may have different experiences, so I wanted to document my great experience here. Brad also said as of two years ago it's new management so maybe that helps. And treat the people there as the specialists they are and hopefully you'll have a good experience too. read more

Took truck in for oil change and was told I needed rear brakes. 800 dollars later the truck grabs when brakes are applied, like a stutter. Took it back they redid the job and after the first day it once again started doing it again. Took it back and I was told nothing was wrong with the brakes. I went in for an oil change and nothing was wrong with anything else and now I have to go to another mechanic. I will never go back there and if you are smart you won't either. read more

This place cuts tire sensors!!!!! Stay away!!! Came here as a local college student to patch a tire a few months ago, staff was rude and tried forcing me into buying 4 new tires but that's not even why I'm here. Once I left I noticed the tire sensor light on, it wasn't before... took it to another shop and they gave me the news that it was blatantly intentionally damaged and that this is a common practice. Set up an appointment for an oil change yesterday. Showed up for 8 o'clock appointment on time. Waiting 2 hours now. Apparently they had to order the filter. And they waited until I got here to do so. As if they didn't know I was coming? This is an unacceptable wait time for an oil change. If you don't have a part. But you know you're going to need it. Why wait til the customer is ther to get it? Because you want it to take over 2 hours for a 10 minute job? Don't waste your time n money. read more

I took my car here for an oil change and tire rotation. The service was excellent and had to wait 1.5 hours to get my car. The staff very polite and friendly. Went in to have my trucks tires rotated aligned and balanced, less than 12 hours later I was driving down 95 south and my tire fell off and exploded. After calling I was told that they did not balance the tires. They forgot. And they can't find a tow truck for us close. I am 7 months pregnant with my one year old in the car. This is completely unacceptable and so negligent. UPDATE: as we were instructed, we brought the truck back to this Firestone where we were promised all damage would be fixed for free. Once there we were told that it was the tires fault and not theirs, so they won't be fixing anything at all. read more

They were quick to get me in there and start on my vehicle. They gave me the best service, I was informed of a warranty, which makes me very happy, I loved their attitude and demeanor. We stopped here after getting a bolt in our tire on the road. This location, unfortunately, was the closest Firestone to us. We arrived at 4:15. They close at 5. Plenty of time, I thought. My boyfriend went in and said I have a nail in my tire, can you take a look? He said, no. We close at 5 and we have 'things on the board'. They had one car in the bay and four open bays. Not sure how they prioritize their business, but if you're not going to help me I don't have a choice. We get back out on the road and head to another location two miles away. Not even a quarter of a mile away, our tire pops and we are stuck on the road with a completely flat tire. Not driveable. Not only did this Firestone refuse to help us, not even come outside and look at the tire, or offer any suggestions on who or how to help us, but they put our lives at risk. We are waiting outside for AAA ( thank God I have them and they are reliable) for an hour and it's 90* out. We live 65 miles away so it's not like I have too many options. I will NEVER use any Firestone location ever in the future or otherwise. It's too bad this employee represented the business so poorly. They and I are very lucky we didnt have a serious accident or injure someone else with our tire blowing. read more

Be very careful if you take your vehicle here. These guys make no bones about wanting to take your money. Borderline shady dealing and excessive charges for labor. ($100/hr) Had my AC go out so made an appointment (which didn't seem to help in my waiting time) to have it checked. 2.5 hrs later I was told they checked my system, ran dye with no leaks and that I just needed an freon recharge for $210. While discussing the AC they tried to sell me tires and continued to push tires even after telling them I was only interested in having the AC fixed. Long story even longer, come to find out through calling other repair shops typical recharges only cost $89-$100. Left with a fresh recharge and cold air.... For one day. The next day the AC was out again so I brought my vehicle back. After further inspection it was determined my evaporator was bad and that it would be 10 hrs and $1500 to repair, And this after discount for the recharge and a military discount. So they didn't catch the bad evaporator or the leak, made me return the next day to determine replacement and then tried to charge ne $1,000 for labor. Got a real estimate from a reputable repair shop for $800. Save your money and the headache these guys stole $200 from me which could have went towards fixing my AC right had it been diagnosed properly. read more

I dropped my car off to have the tires rotated ($9.99). They called and said the front tires weren't serviceable. I went ahead and had them replaced. They charged for a $9.00 inspection fee even though they didn't do the tire rotation. I won't be doing any more business with them. read more

I had a bad experience quite a few years back with a little bait and switch. However, I'm giving these folks a less then 1 because they tried to con my grandmother. She went in for a small leak of (?) unknown "oil". They said after performing tests, they told her it is a critical leak from her radiator, which required a radiator replacement and told her "don't drive too far." shhhess She then went to her son (my dad), who found it was a loose clamp right next the radiator. Couple of twist and no more leak. Shame on them. read more

Should the car get WORSE every time they fix it? Went in to have A/C serviced. I had even researched the one inexpensive part needed and told them. Not long after, I get cold air on my feet from the heater but hot air through the a/c vents in the dash! So, back in to get that fixed. Not only did they charge 5 hours labor when it took less than four hours (!) but I have warm air coming out of the a/c again. Just to make it even crappier, they left my radio disconnected. Just how I want to be for a 12 hour trip that they knew I was leaving at 0600 today! Filing complaint with state department of consumer services next. No one should get to rip me off for over $1000 and leave me in worse shape than I started! read more

I had front brakes put on 2017 Nissan. Within 3 weeks afterwards, I got a bad vibration in the front and every time I used the brakes there was a loud squeal on the front. I returned to this shop and they told me I had to have calipers (another $140.00). I would not recommend this shop to my worst enemy. read more

I recently went there for 4 tires and an oil change. The price was very reasonable. They even gave me a discount on the price quote from their web page. The tires were in stock and the work was done quickly and they didn't try to sell me anything else. I have been here several times over the last few years and in my experience they do good work and seem to be honest with me. I will report one negative thing though. My sister is suspicious of them and said they sold her some tires she was not sure she needed when she went in for an oil change. I've been to this location 5-6 times with 3 cars over the course of 10 years. Most recently (twice in the last 6 months) I've been there for tire replacement and scheduled maintenance. Each time I've been there, the people have been very friendly and straight forward with the condition of my car. Also, the pricing has been very competitive (you might be able to get them to price match if not). When taking opinions from automobile professionals, people tend to complain that you go in for one thing, but end up paying for other things they "find." The other side is that you take your car in and don't get any feedback on how your car looks (meaning they didn't even check out your car other than whatever you were there for). Every time I've been to this location, I get an honest opinion on my car and my options (such and such can wait 10K miles, or this must be replaced or this is dirty but doesn't affect you). The same cannot be said about the local mazda dealership that I've also been to. read more

We were visiting Orlando and on our way back on the interstate something from another trailer/vehicle flew out and went straight to our front tire and popped it right away. We were able to make a quick appointment with this Firestone! When we got there we found out we needed to get all new tires instead of one b/c of the type of vehicle we had and just changing one could mess up our transmission in the future. We also got an oil change and changed the filter! On top of that we had our two Maltese dogs with us and they didn't mind! Dominic was so helpful and still happy to help us, he even gave my dogs some water too! With closing hours coming up, they completed everything we needed with a smile! The rest of the crew were so awesome too, they had a few more people work on our vehicle so that it could be finished within an hour. Everyone was nice and greeted us throughout our time there. I am so sorry for not taking the advice of other yelpers! This place is awful! Try it for yourself and you will see. Not only do they lack in basic customer service but more importantly the MECHANICS DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!! I brought my 2009 Mitsubishi Galant in to get new brakes and rotors because my old ones were making a terrible loud noise. A couple days later the noise was back. Needless to say I took my car to another Firestone in the area to have it looked at. Once the new mechanics had inspected the break system I was told that the break job was not executed properly, they had not added the proper "anti-chatter" lubricant to the break system. They had failed to complete the job correctly! The mechanics here are either LAZY or JUST PLAIN IGNORANT. Why would you want someone with those characteristics working on your car, the car you use to drive around your family! This is not the first time a customers of their has gone to another Firestone to have the job done correctly. While I was waiting for my breaks to be done (the first time) I saw a father and son come into the store the father was obviously upset! Apparently the mechanics here had worked his son's car and did not properly mount the belt. This issue lead his son to get stuck on the side of the road and waste money on a tow truck just to have ANOTHER FIRESTONE FIX THE PROBLEM! read more

My parents have been going this Firestone location for close to 20 years. I would drive to this location when I was in the Navy and stationed up in the DC area. I would come all the way down here to have my vehicles worked on. The staff are always friendly, honest, and they do their best to meet your needs and budget. I know when I go this store I am going to get an honest assessment of my vehicle. I am a happy customer. The only thing that needs be improved is the amount of people working up front. read more
