I had a nail in my tire and had gone to another tire shop it town to see if they could patch it but…read moreunfortunately the nail is in a location they couldn't patch (too close to the tire wall). They said if I wanted to try a plug that I should go to the Sweetwater BP, so that's what I did. It's a bit of a confusing setup because it's a gas station but they do auto shop work there as well. I parked and went it and had to wait about 15 min with my son before they were able to fit me in but then I just drove my car up to a door and the tech had me stay in the car and it took 5min or less for him to get the plug in. I know plugs can be a risk and they don't always work but they only charged $15 for the plug so I figured it's a risk worth taking and by golly it's lasted me a couple months now. I don't think it'll last forever but I'm happy to extend my tire's life as long as I can! The waiting area is SMALL and cramped, and not at all ideal for bringing a baby or toddler (I had no other choice). Not a super clean space but pretty on par for auto shops and I appreciate them getting me in quickly and doing a solid job.

I'm pretty sure that gnomes place magnets in my tires because the number of times I've had a nail or screw in my tire is statistically improbable without some sort of magical influence. I've visited their establishment more times than I can count. Without fail, they have been courteous, helpful, and fair in their prices. I have never had an issue with any of their repairs or any tires that I've purchased. I highly recommend this establishment and the people who work there definitely deserve raises because they are the reason that I return (along with my inability to avoid nails)

So this time I called for appt for 10K oil change, tire rotation which are Free. 10:45am, got there a bit early, waited a couple minutes, greeted by service writer, told him what I was there for. Now he starts writing: $99 crankcase flush, $39 fuel additive, $60 cabin and engine air filters and $23 oil additive (which he told me "Toyota says engine will last over 300K if used at every oil change". ) Plus... alignment and balance $89, then since the car is 25 months old....brake fluid and coolant change... wait.. what? NO, just swap tires and change the oil. This took Over 90 Minutes! So I called Corporate (which has moved from CA to TX) and guess what? The brake & coolant change only if vehicle had severe use or was towing.... the rest was BS designed to take advantage of those who know very little about their new car but if you can turn a free oil change into a $300 service, your bonus gets better I guess. I will replace the cabin filter for $5. I went with the oil add because I wasn't sure with 0w16 however that was also a scam and I doubt they actually added it because he would not bring the empty can. Sadly both dealerships in the Augusta area are below par. I still have 2 oil changes left on the plan....so it will the lesser of 2 evils @20K.

I don't know a lot about cars but I get a mostly honest vibe from them here. I don't like that it seems you get some lady off-site who answers phones. There was some communication gaps between her and the technicians but overall service was friendly and good. Definitely check out coupons online. And if you have a friend at Bridgestone then hit him or her up for a friend and family discount. That saved me $$ too :)

I was charged for work that was never performed. What makes this even more concerning is that the Manager acknowledged that the work had not been completed, yet I was still billed for it anyway. That is completely unacceptable. I expect honesty and transparency when doing business with an auto service provider, and this experience fell far short of that standard. I strongly recommend that others carefully review their invoices and confirm that all work has actually been completed before paying. I will not be returning. And I will be filing a complaint with the BBB!

Purchased tires on Costco.com, had them shipped to store for installation on my wife's Pathfinder…read more They called to schedule, setup a 10am appointment... figured we'd shop while they worked. When we tried to check in (at 10am) there was a line of people buying tires... so it took 30 minutes to hand over the keys. After walking around the store for twenty minutes or so, I get a call from the tire tech... saying he needs to talk to me about my tires. I go back to the tire center, and he says that because my factory tires had a load rating of 106T and my new ones are 104T... they can't mount them. For safety he says... right... not because the 106T tires would cost $300+ extra. For the record, the 104T has a load rating of 1984lbs... the 106T is 2094lbs. The most weight the Pathfinder is allowed to weigh is 5900lbs... WAY less than the (roughly) 8000lbs that four of EITHER tire could safely support. It took another 45 minutes for them to refund the installation charge, during which time I scheduled an appointment at NTB.
