I live close by so I plan on visiting the site for most of my hardware needs. One of the biggest things to stand out when I went to Ace Hardware what's the difference in the way the staff treats and greets you upon entering the store. At Ace Hardware the staff are right at the front door and when you enter the store they greet you and ask you how can they help you. At the big hardware stores they walk around with their blue orange orange vest and ignore you and hope you won't ask them a question. I doubt any of the staff at Ace will tell you "I'm sorry I can't help you that's not my department."

Or malfunctioning equipment/parts. Either way, I reached out to Ace who informed me that I'd have to get authorization from the manufacturer to start a return. I contacted Recteq immediately. After a month of back and forth with phone calls and emails, they informed me that I would not be able to get a refund for my purchase. The bad about this Lowe's: more than any Lowe's I've ever been to, this one seems to have a huge issue with shoplifting. Normally this wouldn't affect the customer, but what people do is take the product out of the packaging and leave the packaging on the shelf, which means that there's many times when Lowe's THINKS they have something in stock, but when you go to get it the shelf is filled with empty packaging. It's infuriating, especially when you then have to drive 30 minutes to the next Lowe's. Plumbing fittings are the worst example of this, so beware if you're here to buy plumbing stuff. I'm not sure if it's related to the shoplifting or not, but items in the wrong place also stands out here among all other Lowe's. So when you're trying to find something, you really have to search through all the shelves which takes loads of time and means you might likely miss what you're looking for.

While classes are great, I love strolling in on a random day when I just need a moment and I can create. They feature a Grab and Go Mini Bar and I love it because it's exactly what a gal needs when she wants to craft without a class reservation. You simply pick the project size, a stencil, and paint colors to create your work of art. You can complete this craft onsite or take home. My favorite part is the variety of stencils because even drawing a straight line is quite challenging for me. Group Suggestions: This is a great "I'm bored" activity that requires no planning and is inexpensive. Just be sure to check the workshop schedule online to be sure they're open for walk-in's. This is also a fun activity on 3rd Thursday's. Grab a snack from @ Sheila's before going to craft on those nights.
