However, I knew after jumping my Jeep off and it not being able to hold battery I needed to go probably get a new battery. I got to the auto zone in Ridgeland off of 51 and Greg Jones was the man that helped me. Not only was he so kind and pleasant to talk to, he took the time to not only show me what was going on but to educate me on how to fix it... (for a man to take the time out of his day to educate a 26 year old little blonde girl about cars and how to's....that should tell you something right there)..... I know it isn't always a blast working on Holidays, but you wouldn't have ever known he didn't enjoy being there helping me. He was so informative and truly genuine the entire experience. I also, along with purchasing a new battery) went ahead and got new windshield wiper blades as well...... He took the time to show me how to take the old ones off and how to put my new ones on..... something most people would have just done the entire thing without holding conversation or even explaining what was going on. I never felt like an inconvenience or that I was bothering him with all my questions/ remarks..... he truly made my day of frustration.....better, just by being kind and friendly..... I have lived in the Jackson/ Madison area my entire life, and I know now that no matter where I live in this area, when I have a car issue or need something for my Jeep....even if its not the most convenient or closest.... Greg Jones ( as long as he is working there) at the Ridgeland Auto Zone is the person I want helping me. You never know how you will change someone's day, but Greg sure changed mine in a positive way... so all I have to say is Thank You, it did not go unnoticed and was much appreciated!

Charles. (The manager)…read more I walked in to buy headlamps. Being a woman, each time I have ever needed headlamps, a battery, etc, they have ALWAYS installed them with a smile on their face. Today though, after being told by the young man that he would love to but Charles would fire them. I asked to see Charles. He came to the front quickly, and angrily and telling me RUDELY, he would NOT allow anyone to install my headlamps. THEN, when I told him they installed my passenger side headlamps, he got LOUD with me, and said, "AND THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED". Obviously Charles kissed behinds to get to his position, because it sure wasn't for his customer service skills. I mean, really? How many other ways could he have explained they have (stopped) installing headlamps besides angrily raising his voice. I feel bad for the guys having to work under him. What a jerk. Even if I have to install them myself, I wouldn't spend a nickel at his store in Ridgeland MS.

We've used Firestone for years for all four of our vehicles with no issues. I recently had four new tires installed, and the next day noticed all four rims were scratched and chipped. When I went back, the manager (Joe) repeatedly told me, "We didn't do this," over and over, insisting the damage was old or caused by car washes or curbs. I have never hit a curb in this car. He told me I was the first American to have never hit a curb. Keep in mind this was all 4 rims! Not just 1! The situation escalated quickly. He accused me of trying to "cheat Firestone out of $1000 rims," told me to never come back when I told him that we used Firestone for all of our oil changes and tires etc... said he would make sure he never crossed my path after asking where I worked,(I work in healthcare and had scrubs on ) and ended by telling me, "You need God." I have never been spoken to or treated so disrespectfully by a business. I'm extremely disappointed. Most of this in front of other clients in the lobby, and another employee.
