Terrible service. They open at 7:30, me and my mom pull in at 8:30 and got completely ignored. Mind you, there is no one else waiting in line, they're empty. We parked outside an open bay, called their phone line which left us on hold and they literally had a worker in the garage who turned and hid behind a shelf. It would've been comical if it wasn't just such terrible service. They had a handful of employees we could see through a window who just stood inside. It was lightly raining, and no one wanted to go outside to talk to us. All my mom needed was the air in her tires filled on her jeep wagoner. We drove to Mavis tire down the road instead, wonderful service and people. In an out less than five minutes. Go there instead. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I don't usually post things like this, but I had a very upsetting experience at Firestone in Madison. We've used Firestone for years for all four of our vehicles with no issues. I recently had four new tires installed, and the next day noticed all four rims were scratched and chipped. When I went back, the manager (Joe) repeatedly told me, "We didn't do this," over and over, insisting the damage was old or caused by car washes or curbs. I have never hit a curb in this car. He told me I was the first American to have never hit a curb. Keep in mind this was all 4 rims! Not just 1! The situation escalated quickly. He accused me of trying to "cheat Firestone out of $1000 rims," told me to never come back when I told him that we used Firestone for all of our oil changes and tires etc... said he would make sure he never crossed my path after asking where I worked,(I work in healthcare and had scrubs on ) and ended by telling me, "You need God." I have never been spoken to or treated so disrespectfully by a business. I'm extremely disappointed. Most of this in front of other clients in the lobby, and another employee. read more

Terrible experience. Called and spoke to a lady and explained that my AC kept cooling some days and then other days would only blow hot air. She said to bring it in and they'd check it out. 30 minutes later I drive my car to the Madison Firestone and some guy helps me. I explain to Him what I had told the lady earlier. He says they really can't check it if the ac is cooling this morning which it was but had been blowing hot air the last few days. He showed no concern or even a desire to check it out. READ THIS WHOLE REVIEW! Terrible service. I was told that it would take an hour and a half, two hours at the most. Two and a half hours later, I realized, after watching everyone that came in after me had come, had their car serviced and gone, that they hadn't even taken my truck back. It was still sitting exactly where I parked it. This wasn't a situation where they were busy and they were having a tough time. It was slow. They just forgot about my truck although it was parked by the front door and they had to walk past it to get to the other customers' vehicles. When I asked why so many people came and went after I did, he actually snapped at me that they were all appointments and that they take care of appointments first. The problem is that story is that a)I actually heard one guy come in and say that he was glad that they were open because the first two places he went to were closed. And b) the nice lady that came in after me, had her car serviced and left, told me while she sat beside me that she "should have made an appointment because it was staying so long." So at least two of the customers that he said were appointments weren't actually appointments. He could have just apologized for whatever caused my vehicle to be forgotten. He didn't have to lie. THEN he told me that the reason one guy went ahead of me is because a certain tech was the only person that was certified to change a battery. EXCEPT that was the guy who ended up servicing my truck. Why did I have to wait for that one guy to change someone's battery before he could change my oil? I wouldn't recommend anyone go there. It's a huge shop and I've seen much smaller shops handle three times the work in the same amount of time. One star out of five is actually too many stars. Oh! And while I was there they lost another customer's key! I kid you not. They never found it. I wonder if he will leave a review. All of it was mind boggling. I only let them change my oil because I'd sat there all afternoon and I wouldn't have another chance to get my oil changed for a couple of weeks. Mind. Boggling. read more

There is a reason this place has low reviews. I took my son's car on Friday. I had called and talked to Joe who gave me a price of $189 for life time alignment and $62 for tire rotate and balance. He said to bring it in on Friday so they could have it in queue for Saturday and should be ready around 4pm. When I dropped off, another person said total would be $285. I ran though the math with him and said it did not add up to what Joe said. He said the computer showed a fee plus tax. I asked what fee and he said that was a Joe question. Got Joe over there and he said that was a shop fee. I asked why he did not tell me about extra fee when he gave me price and his response was that he did not tell me about tax either. Should have just left then but I told them son was only home for weekend. Called back around lunch Saturday to check and they said still had not got to it. Called back at 3 and they said next in line. Went up there at 5:30pm to pick up and he asked who said it was ready. I told him no one and he said they still had not looked at it. I said yall close at 6, how are you going to finish and he said we're not. I asked for my keys back and told him I would never be back. Asked him where my car was and he said in the parking lot. Asked him if he could blank show me. Lesson of story when you see low ratings, should probably listen to them. Will be taking to Manning tire Monday morning. read more

Worst Experience Ever - Stay Away! This Firestone is the absolute worst place to take your car. We were told to leave our vehicle overnight, and when we tried to ask about what needed to be done and the cost, we were met with complete disregard. The initial conversation with "Mike" consisted of him bluntly telling us that our car "is fucked" without offering any real explanation. When we asked for more details, he said, "I'm not a mechanic, I don't know." From there, we called multiple times, and each time Mike rudely told us that we'd find out what was done when we picked the car up. We were insistent about knowing the costs upfront because, let's be real, money doesn't grow on trees. Instead of answering our questions, Mike continually brushed us off, saying he had a line of cars and no time to talk. Honestly, they should just get rid of their phone, because they won't answer a single question you have. They'll charge you for as many things as possible without explaining anything. They had my car for over five days, and when we finally (after begging for days) got an invoice for $3,000, we called to ask for a breakdown. As we mentioned we were reviewing the charges, Mike made a condescending comment like, "Yeah, you keep looking at it," implying we were too stupid to understand. Completely unprofessional and incompetent. If you need more proof to stay away from this place, just look at all the other reviews. Clearly, we're not the only ones who've had awful experiences here. They couldn't pay me to bring my car here again, and I advise everyone else to avoid this place at all costs. read more

I went in today to get my Audi A3 checked for an oil leak. They called me 2 times saying there was no leak. Once I arrived I asked the guy behind the counter if i should expect more puddles under my car. He said there is 100% no leak. I paid the 65$ for the oil leak detection and walk outside to see a puddle of oil under my car. I highly recommend everyone find a better more caring place to take your vehicle. Wow what a great experience at the Madison, MS Firestone tire dealer! Came to ask some questions and was greeted by Jae Harris who is service manager or seemed in charge. He spent time with me giving me options and did not push anything on me. I came back to store and he greeted me again this time by name he actually remembered my name! I did business with the store and Andrew was the technician and he was absolutely great, polite and everything else positive about everything. I did speak to some others at the store all were so nice! I think Jae sets the tone for a great customer service experience! 10/10 read more

Supposedly this idiot at the counter doesn't know how to reserve the time and was told he just didn't look at it until now. I would not suggest using this location for any tire services. I had just gotten new tires on my truck and took to Firestone to get a simple alignment because it was pulling hard to the left. So I get my truck back after they are done and it's still pulling hard to the left. So I took it back up there when I found the time and they said they were gonna fix it so I drop it off first thing in the morning and it is there all day. Finally they call at 4 for me to come get it. And what do ya know still pulling hard to the left. They also said they inspected the truck. The receipt said that each tire had 35 psi. Definitely not when I run them at 45 psi. I will NEVER be going there again. I don't recommend it to anybody. They need to hire a new staff/management. Complete garbage read more

I scheduled my appointment for 4 new tires on August 28,2019 for Sept 6,2019 at 9am. When I get to this place they didn't have my invoice and according to Tina she didn't remember scheduling my appointment with all this being said I spent my entire day off work at this place, at least for the long ass wait 9am-5pm they could've offer coffee, water, some type of snack or at least a courtesy vehicle too take you to get something to eat. They take forever. We work from Louisiana and travel anywhere from California to New York and we needed a whole set of new tires, Well, We pay 1400 for 4 tires when we bring it in at 11 am and I come back at 3:00 pm after they say a couple of hours for the wait. I made an appointment so hopefully my car would be ready quickly, and was told it was only a 2 hour service. It ended up taking all day. They also informed me I needed something replaced bc they said "the filter looked dirty" and when I told them it had been replaced in the last 6 months I was told "we just looked at mileage and assumed it needed to be replaced". Went in for oil change and was told I had 4 ahead of me so it would be about 2 hours because they only had 1 technician for oil changes. I said ok.. 4 oil changes, about 15-30 minutes a piece, I'm ok with that estimate. Well that was 9:30a, it is now 2:30p. 5 hours later!! The guy in front of me had been here since 8:30a and they finally pulled his vehicle around at 1:30p. The last time I was here, I tried to get a tire rotation. Simple rotation is around 10-15 minutes. The guy told me it would be about an 1 1/2 hours before they could get to me, because they didn't have enough technicians. This is completely unacceptable!! Either hire some more technicians or quit doing "quick" car care, maybe stick to just tires!! At least the guy working in the front tried to make it right by giving me a coupon. I took my car in for an oil change and requested a courtesy check, preventive care is always good. I happened to take a look under the hood of my car right after and to my dismay the radiator was completely empty. There was no coolant in the reservoir or the radiator even though there's a check in the green OK box for coolant level on their checklist. I called and they came out, filled it up. I took my car back in for a pressure check. According to them everything was great... until it was not. The following day while driving to work, puffs of white smoke came out at the front of my hood. I am not sure what the pressure check included but the result was a busted coolant hose and the almost death of my car. I trusted them to take care of my car but their negligence had led me to search for another mechanic. I've been a loyal customer for a couple years now. They are very nice and courteous. I get my oil change and tire rotation there without a problem. However, I wouldn't trust them to do anything else. read more

Never had a problem and I take my care there everything I need tires, freon in my AC or oil changes. JR is very nice and keeps you updated on your car. There are 2 types of people. People like me who are nice to the people who work there and have no problems. The other type of person walks in on a Saturday morning at 11am and expects to have a ton of work on their car and ready within 2 hours. Then they get an attitude when they are told it's Saturday and they can't do it that fast and they'll have to wait or come back. I've taken my car here several times and the best I can say is that they are inconsistent. I've had a few reasonable experiences with short waits and reliable repairs, but the bad experiences are much more memorable. I brought my car in with a nail in the tire and they told me they fixed it, but the sensor wouldn't reset, so they had to reset it. They also noticed a belt that needed to be replaced. Two days later, the sensor lit up again and I looked at the tire and the nail was still there. They never replaced it. I also have serious suspicions that they didn't actually perform an oil change at a prior visit. Stay away. read more

I travel a lot for work so my car is a big part of my livelihood. I also have a very tight budget and can only afford to repair problems that are legitimate and necessary. I try to save money by purchasing my own parts, but Firestone will not repair anything with customer supplied parts (which is common). They make a lot from marking up their parts. For instance I needed a certain part, which Firestone quoted at $203.99. I got that exact part from Rockauto.com for $55.79. I found a mechanic in Jackson who was happy to install it AND who charged me $63 less on the labor. But the reason I'm writing this review is because Firestone told me that I needed to replace two more parts, which would have cost more than $300. I took my car to two other mechanics who both independently told me that Firestone's assessment was inaccurate, that it was not necessary to replace those parts. A surefire way to lose my business is to mislead me. read more

Went to Firestone in Madison, MS to get an oil change and had to take it back 3 times because my car was leaking oil. The first time they told me it was just excess oil that they spilled in the under pan and needed to clean it. A week later, it was leaking again. This time they said they left a part off of the car that seals it called an O ring or something. They assured me my car was fixed. Now I was headed out of town for labor day an 2 hours before this visit, which is why I left town 2 hours later than I planned. Well, they assured me the tech put everything back on my car and I was ready to roll. Well, once I made it to my destination, everything under my car was laying in my parents driveway. Got back home later, took my car to the dealership and they basically said they did not put any of the screws and clips back into the undercarriage and everything that was still there was damaged and the rest was probably down the interstate somewhere. They estimated by repairs to be around $1450.00. The manager has been very nice as well as the rest of the staff. He assured me they would pay for all damages (they still have yet to pay). The techs are awful at this place and I would not recommend anyone to take their car here. The were eating cupcakes, drinks, fries, and burgers, all while having the music cranked up loud and dancing. How can you possible be doing anything to my car effectively?! By the way, this all happened on 8/16/17, 8/21/17, and 9/3/17 so this is very recent. Steer clear of this Firestone if you want a running vehicle! read more

I went in today to get a simple tire patch on one of my tires that had a slow leak. Guy behind the counter said no problem would take about an hour. I take my seat in the waiting room and proceed to pass the time. One hour later, I looked in the parking lot and my car was still in the same spot that I pulled in to when I arrived at Firestone; they still hadn't even moved it in an hours time. I confront the guy at the counter about it and after going out to the "shop" he assures me that they were going to pull it back around right then. Another 20 minutes go by and my car is still sitting in the same parking place where I originally pulled in for the "1 hour job". Finally, one of the workers comes in and gets me to come out to help him in getting the car started. Upon starting the car, I ask the worker how long it would take them to patch my tire and he assures me it will be no more than 20 minutes, more like 15 minutes. I go back to the waiting room and proceed to wait for an additional 40 minutes. Finally, I get up and just stare out of the window at my car which is sitting up on the lift without a tire. After about 5 minutes of staring at my car, the lady behind the counter notices and tells me to follow her out to the "shop" where I'm told that my tire can't be patched because it is too old. I don't know how long they were going to wait before telling me this, but obviously staring out the window at your car helps them to give you information about what's going on. Ended up spending over double the amount of time I was told it would take, only to be turned away empty handed. This was my first experience with Firestone of Madison, and I can assure you that I will never go again and advise you the same. read more
