Thank you guys for helping me out during a very inconvenient time. I'll definitely be returning and would absolutely recommend them for tires and patch jobs. They also have a cozy waiting area with a TV, Keurig, and cool A/C, which made the wait comfortable.

The shop determined it was the new fuel injector they were pushing the caused gunk to clog the engine. Now, on 7/27, the brand new wiper blades flew off the car while driving around town. I hate to have to say this but not at all what was expected after spending over $1500 there. We've used the shop in the past and have always been happy with them. This is not the standard of service expected from the Mavis brand.

I picked up an older car which I was going to be driving cross country and took it here for evaluation which needed to be done essentially immediately. *My* experience: I had gone to another tire place which recommended replacing only 2 of the 4 tires (which had chunks of rubber de-laminating). Consumer Car Care (CCC) showed me where all 4 of the 10+ year old tires were in bad shape, and sold me 4 highly rated (per Consumer Reports) Kumho tires at the same price the other outfit wanted for 2 Michelins. I really don't need the more expensive brand name. This saved me not just serious $$, but also saved me from a probable blow out. Second, they could have recommended a lot more work than they did. They only changed out the 10+ year coolant and did an oil change. For a car this age which was not religiously maintained, recommending changing out the brake fluid, transmission fluid, belts, and hoses would not have been unreasonable. They checked all of the above and rather than taking a quick profit from someone they were never going to see again, they were honest. 5 months later, no problems. Based on my experience I would highly recommend CCC, trusting both their recommendations and quality of work.
