Don't let this petite establishment fool you From new tires…read moreto used tires they are the place! ABS??? they are the best! Family owned and operated, this Colton tire shop is my go to! Woke up with a flat tire, completely hissing at me with a pinhole got here right when they open and they got me out within a reasonable time!!! If they can patch it, they will!

They offered used tires and new tires and I chose the new tire option. I arrived during a lunch break and had the new tires installed rather quickly. However on my way back (maybe a couple of miles) my TPMS light went on. So I decided to return and let them know because I thought that perhaps they had took the sensors off by mistake. As I drove up, the techs informed me that no, they were there and it might take some time to communicate with the car's computer. I turned around and went to work and as I locked my car, I noticed that the passenger front tire was completely flat. Not a little. Flat. Ok. So things happen. Not the end of the world. I called the tire shop hoping someone could come and either tow my car back or take off the tire and fix it and return it on their dime as I couldn't imagine this being something I would have to remedy. Well, I called and spoke to the manager and while he said sorry, he said that there was no way to tow or come out. That they didn't have that capability. By this time, I realized I was on my own. I had my car towed to the shop. The tech apologized to me which was nice and assured me that he was going to check everything. Great. I told him to have his manager call me so that perhaps he can offer a credit or discount to the new flat tire I bought. Mike, the manager never called back. This is where the rating comes from. Own up to your shop's errors and maybe offer a tire rotation or $10 off purchase. But ignoring me isn't a professional response.

The person that Offer Up that engaged me said don't worry my guys will handle it. That was definitely not the case. They couldn't handle it. They had a sign on the door that said they take Visa MasterCard Discover. But when it was time to pay, they said sorry we only take cash. So then they took the sticker off the door and threw it in the trashcan and directed me to their ATM machine. The ATM machine charged 5.7% of the withdrawn amount. The tires seem to be decent, but the tire sensor light is still on and they were not able to handle it and when I ask them why they said they didn't know how to fix it then they got aggressive with me and said that I offended them because they didn't know how to fix it. It seems to me that if you're in the Tire business, you should know how to fix these tire sensor situations. I sat on the ground like a child waiting for them to correct the problem. When I realized that they just were incapable, I got in my car. I paid them the money and left. There are so many better places to get tires without the hassle of 5.7% surcharge on ATM and take credit card. If you're in the Inland Empire, I would recommend Big Brand Tire In REDLANDS. Unfortunately this was a car I was selling so I didn't want to put in brand new tires on the car but for the headache it would've been worth it. Now I'm at another tire shop getting this fixed correctly. These guys are absolute bozo's.

Instead, they insisted another tire had no tread left. I checked myself and agreed it needed replacement. Then they pushed me to replace a third tire, again claiming it had no tread. At that point, I ended up replacing three tires total, even though I originally came in for just one. They also repeatedly tried to convince me to replace my remaining run-flat tires, which I declined. Two weeks later, while driving to school, one of my tires suddenly dropped to 0 PSI. I managed to get to a gas station, but the tire wouldn't hold air, so I had it towed to another America's Tire nearby. That's when I found out NONE of my tires were run-flats anymore. This location either misled me or outright swapped out my run-flat tire without my consent. I paid for multiple replacements I likely didn't need and lost a more expensive tire in the process. I strongly recommend avoiding this location and getting a second opinion before agreeing to any work.

One thing I have to say that sticks out the most is the honesty. When I came to get my alignment done, the worker was saying that I really didn't need it at that time. She was very pleasant but, unfortunately, that is where the nice part of this review ends. The first red flag was when after about 20 mins, the woman came in and told me my car was ready, all the tires needed was air. I had to reiterate that I had a tire with a nail in it and I told her which tire it was. I was looking to have it fixed or replaced with a used tire. After removing the tire from my car I was told it was not repairable and they did not have any used tires that fit, so she offered to sell me 1 new tire for $130. Most other tire shops will not let you leave with 1 new tire, they will always sell you two because it is dangerous to replace only 1 tire. I initially, for the sake of time, reluctantly said ok. They put the new tire on and told me I was ready to go. I was just about to pay when I looked outside and saw they had replaced the wrong tire! They took a perfectly good tire off of my car, told me it was too damaged to repair, and they were going to let me leave with 1 new tire and the 1 bad tire that I came to have replaced for $130! This was my first visit to this place and I will never go back. I had them put the original tire back on my car and I went to Garcia's Tires which is right around the corner on La Cadena Dr. Mike helped me out and took care of everything in no time at all. So, the moral of the story, go to Colton Tires if you want to get ripped off and possibly die in a horrible car crash because they only sold you 1 new tire...or go to Garcia's Tires, ask for Mike and have a great day!
