Great place! Very helpful staff, got helped out by Nick who explained in detail what the coupon includes and even found me a better deal for what I came in for. Oil, inspection and tire rotation all within 30min and worth what I paid! Post service I was provided in detail a breakdown by Nick on inspection results. As a woman who knows nothing about cars, it was explained to me why each thing is necessary as well as the urgency. Didn't feel once like I was being pressured to purchase any of these services right then and there. Attentive staff, offered everyone in the lobby refreshments. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Highly recommend this place!! I am a woman so I don't know much about cars. However, Nick explained what was going on in simple terms, never in a condescending tone but sincere education. I've been coming here for about a year now and they are reliable, communicate well, and for all the things I got done to my car, I would say affordable!! If you are a woman, who has had bad experiences with mechanics and auto shops I would say this shop is a good place to get your car fixed!! read more

While out in California for a work event, I experienced unexpected brake failure on my Tacoma and found myself in a tough spot. I was supposed to be driving back to Las Vegas that same day, but safety became the priority. I limped my vehicle to Midas in Redlands and ended up having an absolutely incredible experience thanks to Tyler Henton, the service manager. Tyler went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. He communicated thoroughly throughout the entire process, was precise, professional, and genuinely cared about getting me safely back on the road. At one point, they even sent a tech to drive 20 minutes to a dealership just to pick up a specialty part I needed--that's real commitment to customer service. As someone who takes meticulous care of my truck, I was seriously impressed by how respectfully they treated both me and my vehicle. It's rare to find people who go out of their way like this, especially when you're in a pinch far from home. Tyler and the team at Midas Redlands earned my trust, and I highly, highly recommend this shop to anyone needing honest, top-tier service. The world needs more people like Tyler--plain and simple. read more

How about paying back customers that they nickel and dimed with constant problems added to their vehicles? Reporting these people to the Federal Trade Commission and Office of the Attorney General. I brought my car in for a new motor, which they said they could do. It was pandemonium after that where it affected, the transmission, power steering, various leaks coming from the engine, shoddy work on the cables that connects the spark plugs to the engine (arcing and sparking, fire hazard). I can't wait to see what happens in the future with these losers!!! read more

Had a 3 o'clock appointment and still sitting here they haven't even started yet this is ridiculous never again

I had no idea what was wrong with my car other than I was on the freeway in the far left lane when my car began to stall. I immediately put on my hazard lights and exited the free way. I came across Midas store 1302 in Monrovia, Ca and asked for help. Despite it being closing time for Midas, Chris took the time to assess the situation and resolve it so I could make it home. I truly appreciate the timely, genuine assistance I received to ensure my car would operate appropriately so that I could get home safely. The help was priceless!!! Thank You Midas, and thanks again Chris!! read more

Horrible customer service. The value is not worth it. I would take my business somewhere else.

Customer service was exceptionally performed by Tyler and the crew. If I had to critique anything. It would be Midas rule to only have Food Network playing. Watching Food Network for hours waiting for your car to get fixed creates a sense of hunger and impatience for some people. Although food network can be entertaining for hours some variety could also make the wait time more tolerable. read more

Poor customer service Jill has made my experience negative because of false information, and now I have 2 Midas cards. She wouldn't except the Midas card and said I need to apply for a new card. Today she would not service my car because of a negative review. read more

Four H Been here since 8:30 am. It's now 10:30. They just told me they are going to start and it's going to be 1.5hrs. Just for brakes. What were you doing for the two hours I was sitting here waiting!Pathetic. Also, when I got here I was told it would take about an hour. I asked why they charged me 3.1 hours of labor for something that only takes 1hr tops. There was no way they had worked 3.1 hours. Look at the math! The fat guy John Keneally, said I'd been in this industry for blah blah years. What the f is that supposed to mean? A brake change is a break change you don't labor for 3hrs maybe if he did it, it would take that long. I've contacted corporate and will be sharing videos of you threatening me. read more

Came in for my alignment appointment at 10am and am barely leaving at 12:30. I get they were busy but they put my car on the alignment rack an hour after I arrived there and then the mechanic started working on two other cars? Slow system, wouldn't recommend coming in. read more

Jill is so rude to her customers. Every time I go in she scolds me for not having a key battery. One time a customer came in late and she said *you're late. Maybe come on time tomorrow. (I can't show her tone of voice in text) I once came on time to my appointment, sat there for 3 HOURS before they test drove it. They said it's fine. I know I need fuel injectors, I recommended to Jill the mechanics Check that part. She told them nothing so they didn't know what to look for. Wasted 4 hours of my life sitting in the room with Jill. Midas used to be my go to shop but I'm going to my dealership read more

Midas - Lobby - Auto Repair Near Me - Redlands, California

I want to start off by saying Jill at the front desk was very courteous, professional and friendly! Having said that I can't say the same for the crew that worked on my truck that day, I ordered new tires and had an inspection made on the truck, the workers there took their sweet time? The tires finally came in and they were the wrong size?? So I had to reschedule my appointment for the next morning the next day the guy who was balancing the new tires took my aluminum blue valve stem caps off the old tires and swapped them for some cheap black plastic ones and put them on the new tires when I approached him I asked him where are my shiny blue valve stem caps?? He responded right away with what are you taking about?? I responded back and said the blue caps next to that metal tray that's partially covered by a piece of paper ?? Those ones!! He said oh yeah!! I will put those on the new tires right away?? Then they performed their so called 24 point inspection the next 2 days I took my truck to my personal mechanic to get my oil pan gasket replaced he checked my transmission dipstick and showed me that the dipstick was completely dry!!! He told me that's the reason your truck was running rough So idk what to tell you but those guys at Midas are a bunch of rough necks I don't trust that crew that works there read more

I went in to get my AC and windshield washer system checked out and a couple of smaller issues. Jill the manager was fast, helpful and knowledgeable. Unlike other places, she went above and beyond to suggest cost effective solutions, which in the end saved me a lot of money. Hard to find such auto shops still exist. I was worried that my AC would cost me a lot of money, but they were able to resolve it with their standard AC maintenance service! In summary, I am very pleased with their truthfulness, fast service and workmanship. They got a repeat customer in me. read more

Came here to get a tire mounted and it came back with major chips along the sidewall; can literally see the plys under the rubber. Was told they couldn't do anything about it because there's no way to prove it wasn't there before, despite the damage being fresh cuts in the rubber. If you come here, take lots of before photos of your parts beforehand so they can't deny responsibility read more

Tylor and Ray were above and beyond!! Was here for hours, yet, it seemed fast. Great customer service. Will be back!!

I've been going to the redlands,ca location for 6 - 7 years. This is the first time I have caught the mechanic flat out lying on services needed and services rendered. The manager didn't appear to be in today. Ray who I belive is a bay mechanic normally was manning the desk today. When I came to pick up my SUV after a standard oil change and tire rotation I'm told I need shocks, struts, cabin and air filters. After I called them on it ( family member just changed 3 of the 4 " needed services " less than 3 months ago - definetly not needed ) Ray went to get the story from the mechanic and I was told we'll its based on what u needed last time and the mileage of the vehicle. So basically they didn't check anything and when I got home I realized they DIDNT even rotate the tires! Needless to say they will be paying for my next 60$ oil change and tire rotation and will be marking my tires in the future because you can't trust anyone anymore unfortunatly. Or does corporate tell them to preform like this? They also marked my brakes are good but if the tires never came off how do they know? read more

I would give zero stars if I could always take my car to the Nissan dealership because I love the service how quickly and attentive they are and they truly make every experience such as smooth process unfortunately Jill is the reason why the service was horrible. Her customer service is poor. She made it so difficult. I had an appointment and I wasn't seen until 20 minutes after she was not helpful at all. She gave me information and in addition to that she did not wanna honor the black Friday deal that was on special. She was trying to charge me over $100 when I had already spoken to Tyler. I had the coupon in hand and in addition to that all she had to do was go to their website and it was still up for the Thanksgiving promo mind, you again I had already spoken with Tyler. He said everything was good to go and I just had to bring in my car for service. She did not care. She was rude and I ended up having to walk out with my keys in hand because she gave the worst service of my life I hope if anybody goes there they get better service and I did. I would never recommend this location to anybody. I would recommend going to a dealership before coming to this location, it's worth paying the money read more

I've been coming here for years for all my tire and maintenance. They've always gotten the job done and when I've returned for issues or questions they took care of whatever I needed help with. I lost one of my tire covers. Someone probably stole it, but I drove here this morning and waited for a few mins in line. One of the service techs walked me in the back, got me a new cover and installed it himself. That was really nice. read more

Finally a great experience getting my car fixed. Let's start off by saying that Jill Purtell was amazing at her job. Both friendly and knowledgeable, she was up front about everything. She even caught errors on my paperwork to make sure everything was good. My car needed a fair amount of work as I had not driven it in 9 months due to covid and work from home. I wish everything that needed repair went this smooth. Thanks. read more

Midas are so thorough when it comes to giving you back a diagnosis of what's wrong with your car! HORRIBLE, WILL NOT BE COMING BACK. initially went in for oil change oil leak and come to find out I had a nail in my back right tire. bought the tire and had it serviced with an alignment. was there with an appt at 730, 4 hours later Ray tells me my back left tire had a swollen area and to keep an eye on the bubble. drove all the way back home and called Midas to see if they could put my spare on the left back tire. Confusing phone call and then Jill calls me and says they can put on my spare for the back left tire. I get there and they put the tire on. Ray then asks me if I wanted the rims switched out because my spare was silver and the rest of the rims are all black. I say sure, and he tells me the tire ripped when they went to take off the rim. Jill starts yelling about how "no one told me they were going to change rims out, now we have to file paperwork" like YOU'RE mad at ME that YOU have to do YOUR job?? they put my bad tire back on, and she's still pissed about the fact she has to do paperwork. she's telling me "this is what happens when you bring in a tire that's 4 yrs old" So you're telling me after almost spending $800 and being a RETURNING customer you're going to gaslight me and blame ME for bringing in my spare that YOU destroyed that YOUR lead mechanic looked over and said the spare tire was a good, solid tire??! so thanks a lot Jill and Ray, I spent almost $800, and am out my spare! walked out after she kept trying to gaslight and blame me for their screw-up. NO "WE'RE SORRY," NO DISCOUNT OR COUPON TO TRY AND MAKE AN ATTEMPT FOR THEIR SCREW-UP, NO NOTHING. JUST JILL YELLING ABOUT PAPERWORK AND GASLIGHTING A CUSTOMER, BLAMING ME FOR SOMETHING HER MECHANIC DID. IVE BEEN COMING TO MIDAS FOR YEARS NOW, AS HAVE MY SIBLINGS AND WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING WHATSOEVER. read more

Brought my Japanese Imported Righside drive Nissan Skyline in to have the a/c system converted from R12 to R134. Spoke to Ray who thought they may be able to complete the work. Then, Jill (manager) took over. She had no idea what she was doing: I told her the speedo was in km (she thought it was Mph), she said the odometer was in miles (its km), the trip odometer was the km. Then she had NO idea where the VIN was on the vehicle. When she lifted the hood, she didn't know how to use the hood prop. The vin is not full set of numbers as in USA. She refused to ask for help or assistance and when I called her out for her ignorance, I decided to leave. She replied, good, as she smirked. read more

So I was driving to see the grand kids on Saturday, and my overheating light came on. Pulled off the freeway, and asked Siri for a garage near me. Midas on Redlands Blvd. was the closest, so I limped into their parking lot after adding a little water to my radiator. I went in and spoke to Mike, and he went out to my car to assess the issue. He knew immediately what the problem was (2009 BMW,) assured me that it could be done in less than an hour, and came through on his promise. The entire staff was wonderful, and I am lucky that this Midas garage was so close to me when I had to pull off the freeway !! The price was super reasonable as well. I have no clue if the service here is any good or if the people are nice or not. My star is simply for them not responding as the website/app promises. I requested an appointment and no one replied. I have been bouncing around trying to find a reliable place to get my car serviced. I happened across this Midas due to a coupon i saw online and I made an appointment and came in. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Jill was so friendly at the front desk. After i left i tried other locations but they were not the same. I came back for my next oil change and this time without an appointment. I was given the wait time but because it was longer than expected I decided to make an appointment for the following day. I was about to leave when the shop manager stopped me and said they could squeeze it in so I wouldn't have to come back! Amazing customer service!
