Watching Food Network for hours waiting for your car to get fixed creates a sense of hunger and impatience for some people. I would give zero stars if I could always take my car to the Nissan dealership because I love the service how quickly and attentive they are and they truly make every experience such as smooth process unfortunately Jill is the reason why the service was horrible. I've been coming here for years for all my tire and maintenance. They've always gotten the job done and when I've returned for issues or questions they took care of whatever I needed help with. I lost one of my tire covers. Someone probably stole it, but I drove here this morning and waited for a few mins in line. I've been going to the redlands,ca location for 6 - 7 years. This is the first time I have caught the mechanic flat out lying on services needed and services rendered. The manager didn't appear to be in today. Ray who I belive is a bay mechanic normally was manning the desk today. When I came to pick up my SUV after a standard oil change and tire rotation I'm told I need shocks, struts, cabin and air filters. After I called them on it ( family member just changed 3 of the 4 " needed services " less than 3 months ago - definetly not needed ) Ray went to get the story from the mechanic and I was told we'll its based on what u needed last time and the mileage of the vehicle. So basically they didn't check anything and when I got home I realized they DIDNT even rotate the tires! Needless to say they will be paying for my next 60$ oil change and tire rotation and will be marking my tires in the future because you can't trust anyone anymore unfortunatly. I want to start off by saying Jill at the front desk was very courteous, professional and friendly! Having said that I can't say the same for the crew that worked on my truck that day, I ordered new tires and had an inspection made on the truck, the workers there took their sweet time? The tires finally came in and they were the wrong size?? So I had to reschedule my appointment for the next morning the next day the guy who was balancing the new tires took my aluminum blue valve stem caps off the old tires and swapped them for some cheap black plastic ones and put them on the new tires when I approached him I asked him where are my shiny blue valve stem caps?? He responded right away with what are you taking about?? I responded back and said the blue caps next to that metal tray that's partially covered by a piece of paper ?? Those ones!! He said oh yeah!! I will put those on the new tires right away?? Then they performed their so called 24 point inspection the next 2 days I took my truck to my personal mechanic to get my oil pan gasket replaced he checked my transmission dipstick and showed me that the dipstick was completely dry!!! HORRIBLE, WILL NOT BE COMING BACK. initially went in for oil change oil leak and come to find out I had a nail in my back right tire. bought the tire and had it serviced with an alignment. was there with an appt at 730, 4 hours later Ray tells me my back left tire had a swollen area and to keep an eye on the bubble. drove all the way back home and called Midas to see if they could put my spare on the left back tire. Confusing phone call and then Jill calls me and says they can put on my spare for the back left tire. I get there and they put the tire on. She had no idea what she was doing: I told her the speedo was in km (she thought it was Mph), she said the odometer was in miles (its km), the trip odometer was the km. Then she had NO idea where the VIN was on the vehicle. When she lifted the hood, she didn't know how to use the hood prop. The vin is not full set of numbers as in USA. I went to pep boys because my AC gave out but now a days it's hard to trust a mechanic. I remembered Daniel did my oil change a long time ago and how great of an experience it was I brought it to Midas. I had a 9:30 appointment was checked in by Jill she said it was going to be a 3-5 hour wait for the diagnostic since I requested Daniel, but it only took and hour and a half. While waiting for the diagnostic on my car Jill was yelling at a mechanic saying something about when I say a time it has to be done by that time and I found that to be very unprofessional because there was a waiting room with customers that can hear her. The tension in the waiting room got uncomfortable after that happened. I received a txt at 11:11 am that my inspection was ready to review. Then she had me waiting to go over what needed to be done to the AC. Found out what was wrong and had to get it done. I left and received a txt my car was ready for pickup at 4:01 pm. I get there and had to wait 30 minutes for her to put in paper work I guess for my car then finally got my keys to leave.
