After over a month and half and 2600$ later I finally get my car and when I drove it home I can hear the transmission shifting and making noise like it was loose!! I didn't want to deal with them anymore so I did a small basic check myself, I jacked the car up myself and checked it out , turns out they left a motor mount without a nut. I had to finish the job myself ! Unbelievable!!! Do not come here !!! At least do the job right if you're going to have a car for almost 2 months.who knows what else is loose that's not immediately visible. Took car to get fixed and took about a month. Once I got my car back the charging ports no longer worked, my usb cord was ripped down to the wire and the car smelled like cigarette/smoke. I was given 3 months warranty so I took my car back because it was making a loud noise when accelerating which was not an issue before it got worked on. They did keep their word on warranty and fixed the part free of charge but customer service was very passive aggressive and petty about it stating "even though we had nothing to do with this, we fixed the issue for you and will not be charging you" and seemed to be bothered we actually took the warranty period that was offered. A simple "we apologize for the inconvenience" would've been sufficient enough. read more

Worst service ever: I took my Camaro here to have my engine replaced with a block engine I got my car back in about a month. The power windows weren't working and the interior got rained on from his outdoor storage. When I drove the car home it would putter and give out when it was idle, the fuel pump was ripped and was spilling in my driveway. I recorded everything just in case. I took it back the next day and he said I needed a new battery, I bought a brand new one from Walmart for him to install and I marked it with chalk and silver sharpie just to be safe, and sure enough this scumbag did a recharge on the old battery and kept mine, when I confronted him he said "Oh yeah let me switch it out for you no charge." After him having the car for about 3 months I later found out that the engine had never never replaced. Same VIN same everything he just replaced the headers and a few hoses. Overall he charged me $6,037 took around 3-4 months and I would have to constantly call him towards the end for him to finally say okay I'll work on yours this Wednesday. I don't have money for lawyers but I'm currently searching for someone who can do a pro-bono case against this shop. He deserves to go out of business. Javier is an absolute crook/scumbag. read more

I wish I could do a half star or no stars. This was by and far the worst experience I've ever had at a garage. I took my car there for an overheating problem and it took them about a week but they fixed it. I had driven it for maybe three days and it started overheating again. This time I took it to a mechanic I knew personally before calling this garage back. They told me there was still parts that needed to be changed (all parts that were part of the cooling system which was what I originally took to them to fix in the beginning). So we change the thermostat, radiator, temperature sensor, and hoses. After fixing all of that it was still over heating meaning the only problems could come from the water pump or header, parts that they were supposed to fix! Returning my car to the original garage (almost 30 miles of towing back and forth) I left it so they can rework on what they were supposed to do the first time around. They kept my car for almost 3 weeks! THREE WEEKS. I was without my car or almost a month. They even tried to blame me for the water they found in the engine. The problem? The f-ing problem?! They never resurfaced the header after they changed the head gasket which caused it to prematurely combust and also helped pump water into the engine. After finally figuring it out it took almost a week to resurface it and return it to me. Oh, and they used all the gas in my car and replaced the coolant with dirty f-ing water. TL;DR It takes them too long to do anything and the job is half assed at best. read more

Actually this place is awesome. It's a husband and wife team and they really care about their business and customers. Between my mom, my brother and I, we've had 3 cars worked on here. Their prices are excellent and they stand by their work. If you're looking for a good honest mechanic that has fair prices and really cares about their customers you should really give this place a shot. Also they do everything. I called on a Monday and received a quote for a transmission rebuild because that was most likely the worst case scenario, based off of how my car was driving. They towed it there for free because I was going to be paying $2,600 for the rebuild. When the mechanic came to pick it up, he stated that he would let me know of a diagnosis by the following friday. I never received a call. I called that Monday and the lady who answered told me she would check with the mechanic and call me back again I never received a call. And for weeks this back and forth went on where they bullshitted me for weeks about what they THINK is wrong with my car. First they said it needed the rebuild, then they said it needed the transmission control module chip and that its on backorder. Meanwhile, I'm going through radiation treatment for thyroid cancer and incurring charges for a rental so that I don't harm my family members. I finally got fed up and spoke with the mechanic becuase that lady was tired of giving me excuses and he told me again that he was going to work on it more and let me know by Saturday if he can't fix it. I asked if he wasn't able to fix it would they charge me and he said no, and then I asked how much the cost would be if he could and he said very cheap. Which sounded fair so i said ok. I called Saturday becuase no one called me back (not surprised) and the mechanic told me he couldn't fix it. So I asked if they could help me tow it to the dealership since he advised me that they are unable to fix my car and he said they'd call me back. The lady ended up calling me back and quoted me $240 for the tow becuase she insisted on charging me for the tow when they initially picked my car up even though the mechanic told me he wouldn't charge me. I said fuck that and had my car towed by ford to the dealership. The first tow truck advised me that they locked the transmission out of spite. The second tow truck driver advised me that they left my car there in riverside, unlocked, with the key in the ignition. The worst mechanic I've ever been to in my life. Not even sure if they took the time to look at my car but they had it for over a month and never even seemed to have it on the lift when I drove by. read more

Approximately 6 months ago I had my transmission rebuilt here. I came back at 1,2, and month 4 after getting it rebuilt from a leak they couldn't fix. Finally on the 3rd time the mechanic put the correct output shaft seal on. By this time I had already noticed slipping, the mechanic played it off as the torque converter. Now at month 6 my transmission needs a another rebuild since it's slipping left and right. I don't have my receipt since moving so they will not warranty there work. Be for warned that they don't know the parts there putting in and they will not back there work. Horrible business practices. Needless to say I'll be going to Inglewood transmission in Fullerton for have them rebuild it again. At least I know it'll be done right. Great people at Inglewood trans ask for Mike l.
