They put me on the appointment list for the time I expected to arrive and got me in right away. They performed a full inspection and discovered that the tires I previously had installed were the wrong speed rating for my vehicle. They took the time to explain everything clearly and even walked me through how to address the issue with the previous shop. That level of honesty and helpfulness meant a lot. They also gave me an estimated repair time and ended up finishing sooner than expected, which was a huge relief with kids in tow. Everyone I interacted with was respectful, professional, and genuinely caring. I'm very grateful for their excellent service and would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Especially if you want trustworthy help!

They insisted I only needed my oil changed to clear the code I had. They then broke a heating line on my car, lied to me and told me that it was brittle and old and broke on its own on a 6 YEAR OLD CAR. I contacted the service techs at Toyota and they informed me that was highly unlikely. Their manager then lied to me further and doubled down and gave me a bad discount. Businesses don't feel the need to give a discount if they're not at fault for breaking your stuff. Do not trust them to do anything more than change your oil, if that. Will never be back.

I left the car with Scott and he checked everything including the battery starter and alternator. They did not find anything seriously wrong and did not even charge me for fixing the issue. It's really nice to have a place you can trust to use for vehicle repair. It's also very refreshing to bring your car in for repairs and end up not being charged. Honesty and integrity are definitely highly valued here. I also always get my oil changed here too and have for some time. The whole staff is always courteous and professional. I have nothing but good things to say regarding this business. Will continue to use for future needs!

Scott Jett is the best mechanic you can get to solve your problems. I've known Scott for 6 years personally, and he also did my car work when he worked at Honda in Cleveland. 99% of the time, it's a crap-shoot when it comes to finding an honest shop that's not trying to rip you off. But at this Express Oil in Ooltewah, you need not worry. The first-rate service from the time you arrive until you leave is exceptional. Here's what you also should know. They are busy because they do top-quality work. Word-of-mouth keeps them busy. Call for an appointment. I happily drive from Cleveland to Ooltewah by-passing dealerships and other so-called 'mechanics", as I value trust-worthy mechanics who do what they say they can do, and give you a fair price, and keep you informed of what they do and why they are doing it. Peace-of-mind is valuable. Peace-of-mind is what you'll find here.

Had to get my son in law to fix it for real! I only came to them to see if they had the tool to remove the bolts. I told them I had a free tire change elsewhere if I could get them off and NOT to dk it but they did it anyway and cost me more!! I had another bad experience where they put the wrong oil in my jeep and blew the engine the next day. they do NOT care if you have a concern. The customer is ALWAYS WRONG. End of story!

Was told I needed a major tune up. Cost was around $1200. 2 days later my check engine light was back on. Went back and had to leave my car because they couldn't figure out why. Ended up having to pay for a rental because the issue was now I needed throttle bodies and they had to be ordered. Ok and now another over $1000. Before I even got home the light was back on. Went back and was told needed a catalytic converter and another $3000. Well of course I went somewhere else and had that replaced. Then the braking system went down and replaced and then the charging system and was replaced. Then the transmission started acting up. Took it to what is now my new go to place and did a full diagnostic. When the new throttle bodies were put on, they failed to relearn the sensors to the new parts. So each system was breaking down due to this! Here I am out of thousands of dollars all because they failed to complete that simple process. So grateful for my new place and them getting my vehicle back to running how she was when I bought her! Been going through this for months, But God!

After about 800 miles on the '90 Lotus Espirit she decided to experience tranny problems on the past Sunday evening. My nephew recommended Auto Shop based on his Father-in-Law who had work done on his car. I had the car towed in without talking with them since they were closed. Sometimes you just have to roll the dice. I was at the shop at 8:15 Monday morning to talk to Scott and Amber. Scott was more than willing to look at it since he had worked on a Lotus or 2 in the past. Scott's diagnosis was internal tranny issues which was best dealt with by a specialist. While Scott was ultimately not able to repair the car his speedy response and excellent communication allowed me to quickly adjust my plans. He and Amber are a true class act. I felt a level of trust and confidence in them immediately. While breaking down 500 miles from home is not recommended for anyone i can't think of a better situation than to have Scott and Amber be the first mechanics you encounter. Give them a try. I told Scott i would be back if i ever break down in a normal car. Fran Manno Chesapeake, VA

I was told that mechanically the car is in good shape. I was told that the heater was working and they didn't see anything wrong. They were clear that it could be a blend door going out on the vehicle, but confirmed that everything worked fine. Thinking I had bought some time I spent $800 dollars on brakes and to fix a window regulator. When I picked up the car, immediately upon starting the car I heard a loud knocking in the dash which stopped quickly but which I had never heard before. When I tried to move from heat to air the knocking occurred again and now I don't get any cold air. They've refused any accountability. I brought my car in for a specific problem, and on a budget of $1000 or less. Because they told me the problem I brought the car in for was fine, I spent the money to fix other issues, and received the car back with the same problem I brought it in for. Now they've quoted me $800 just for the labor to look into the original problem further. This was a lazy misdiagnosis. I understand I made the decision to proceed with other repairs. If I got the car back and the blend door broke a week or month later that's entirely on me. It was returned to me just as broken but I was lead to believe it was fine, which is why the decision was made to spend the money elsewhere. The whole process feels very dishonest or at the very least, they were not thorough in diagnosing the problem from the beginning. Edit: a 5 minute YouTube search on how to run a diagnostic for EATC issues in this vehicle, and error codes 024 and 025 were returned, which are for the blend door. The difference here is in saying you guys you tested it and everything worked, and it "could be" a blend door. Within 10 minutes of getting the vehicle home, I had confirmation that it was in fact the issue which was clearly diagnosed very easily at home. The first conversation was filled with what it could be, when a clear answer was available because the problem was never resolved, and the mechanic I trusted to provide an accurate diagnosis didn't do that correctly. This is why the initial diagnosis was either lazy or dishonest. Saying it works but it could be an issue down the road is one thing, and I'd happily accept all responsibility for that decision to authorize other repairs. Returning the car with the exact issue it was brought in with while a diagnostic would have easily confirmed the issue was present is either lazy or dishonest. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wSLjb8xh7Eg
