I am NOT leaving this review for personal satisfaction but leaving it to warn others about wasting their time by going to this location. The only employee at this location that seemed to be worth his paycheck is the young service technician that was actually willing to do my installation, the rest of them couldn't find their way out a wet paper bag in my opinion! I purchased tires from an online retailer due to the significant price difference and called this location prior to making a appointment to confirm they would be able to install them for me and had the equipment to do so due to the size of tires (38X13.50r17) and they confirmed that it wouldn't be a problem so I scheduled an appointment online. Showed up 15 minutes prior to my appointment time and not only did the employee at the front desk say everything was good to go but the guy in the back office (Probably the Manager) also came out to confirm that they were able to get it done but it would cost me extra due to the size of the tires and also that it was going to take about 3 hours due to it being a little busy but it would be done before closing at 5pm (Let it be known my appointment was for 12:30pm) I told them it wouldn't be a problem and I would just return before they closed to pick my vehicle up. The employee at the front desk gave me the work order with a price of $270+ for a 4 tire installation and I still agreed to the price and signed the paperwork. After unloading these 90lb tires by the bay door like I was asked to do, as I was about to leave the so called "Bay Supervisor" came up to me to inform me that he wouldn't be doing service on my vehicle due to safety concerns because the lift size of my vehicle! I then told the guy it was understandable and I could just head back home and I only lived 5 minutes away and that I could remove the tires from my vehicle and bring back just the tires for them to change out while still agreeing to pay the same amount on the agreement, this then so called Bay Supervisor changed his reason to he can't provide services due to the size of tire and not having the equipment! At this point I knew he just didn't want to do the work and was making up excuses. Like why would a business sell Tires on THEIR website larger than what I had (40-42 inch Tires) if they didn't have the equipment to install them??!! Exactly! Im not an idiot bro, straight laziness is what it is! Honestly I don't know if it was the (Retired US Marine) License Plate that caused him to deny service but with all that's going on right now I wouldn't doubt it and Don't really care two folds on what they think! Your job ain't that hard or overwhelming bro Trust me acting like y'all experiencing stress! Oh please man! JUST SAVE YOUR TIME AND AVOID GETTING YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE RAISED BY AVOIDING THIS LOCATION!!

    Got an oil change on March 4th. The next day, I noticed that the front undercarriage was loose and…read moreseveral pushpins were missing. Upon closer inspection it became clear that after completing the oil change the technician did not reinstall two of the rear bolts, and the pushpins were either not reinstalled or lost. As a result, a section of the undercarriage came off the vehicle while in use. I was unaware of any problem with the time which created both the safety concern and potential risk of further damage to the vehicle. I returned to the shop two days later. The technician who originally worked on the vehicle acknowledge that he had been unable to realign the undercarriage properly. However, this issue was never communicated to me and no warning was provided before leaving. Another technician was able to replace the bolts and secure the remaining portion of the undercarriage in place, but the missing protective part and pins were not replaced. Disappointed by both the oversight of reinstalling the hardware and lack of communication about the problem once it was identified. The service team failed to perform the work correctly or notify me immediately of any complications that could affect the safety and integrity of the vehicle.

    The manager Chris is a real winner. He yells at the crew members daily. The person he fired is dyslexic and learns differently than other people. There is a lawsuit up against Take 5 and we will never recommend anyone to this location.

I haven't been there in 2020 because I haven't driven my car. I wanted to get winter maintenance on it. Plus, since I bought my tires there, rotations and balances are free for me. I entered and noticed no one wearing masks. No signage on the door. I had on a mask. The guy checking me said, "You don't have to worry about wearing a mask if you don't want to." I replied, "That concerns me" and stepped outside to wait. Scott, the owner came out to chat, as we have done for half his life. I helped him start his business with his father. I asked him if he knew that there was a mask mandate in JACO for businesses, and he said, "Well, I had a sign and the wind blew it off." I told him what his guy said to me, and he got red in the face, and said, "You are the first person who's complained about it." I told him I have health issues and honestly, should not have to complain about it. I told him that wearing a mask tells your customers you care about them. He made some comments to me regarding my personal life--how I had lost my job and home, how I was "down on my luck"--etc. And how he would "drive me back to my house so I didn't have to sit at the shop." I lived 2 miles from the shop. I have spent easily $20K in repairs on various cars in 25 years. He tried to shame me about a horrible period in my life that had NOTHING to do with the fact that he was in violation of a county mandate. Then, he left and the next thing I know, I hear my car being wheeled around. He said that he was not going to complete my service. And he told me that he was not going to honor future services on my tire rotations. He said that his shop had the right to not serve anyone they wanted for any reason. I asked why I was not being served, and he said, "I don't like your attitude." He called 15 minutes later as I was driving home. He apologized, said he was under stress. He said that he is going to change his mask policy. He said he wanted to keep my business, and asked me to come back to the shop. I told him I already have PTSD, and he just made it worse. I told him I have issues leaving my house, and he just made them worse. He offered to come get my car, and I declined. I told him he had lost a customer.

I asked if I paid for the diagnostics were they gonna be able to figure out exactly what was wrong and fix it and he said absolutely. They kept bringing me into the back to show me things and was coming up with a bill of $1500. I've never felt so violated in my life. I felt like it was a money grab to try to get as much money out of me as possible. The tech that worked on the vehicle told me he wasn't sure exactly what was wrong? He said it could be a few different things. I explained I was told when I came in that you would be able to diagnose it and tell me exactly what was wrong? He rambled off a few things again, and I asked him a second time what was the fix And he said he wasn't sure? Then another guy told me it was the heater core. They wanted over $1000 to replace the heater core. I can find the part online for $50. This place just wants to get as much money out of you as possible. They're gonna find every minor thing wrong that they can then they're gonna inflate the price drastically. I wouldn't recommend coming here. They didn't even bother to put an oil change sticker on my window. They were more worried about making a dollar then doing what was paid for.
