At that time, I specifically mentioned that I had placed the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door and expressed my hope that it would be respected, as I would not be returning until later that evening due to scheduled meetings. When I returned to my room at approximately 8:45 PM, I was shocked and disturbed to discover that the room had clearly been entered despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign being displayed. The condition of the room was completely different from how I left it: The lights and lamps were turned on, although I left them off. The window shades were fully opened. The bathroom light was on. My clothing bag had been moved from the table to the chair. The nightstand and desk drawers were left opened. The bed cover that I intentionally placed on the floor had been put back onto the bed. I had to go to the front desk, request NEW BEDDING, place the Sheets and all on myself due to the Bed Cover being placed back on the bed which was on the floor! Personal bathroom items had clearly been moved or touched. This situation is extremely disturbing and unacceptable. A guest's privacy, personal belongings, and explicit request not to be disturbed should be respected at all times. To return to a room that had been altered in so many ways without authorization left me feeling uncomfortable and violated. Very disappointed with Charlotte-Burke-Thompson (Front office Manager) and Maguette Loechner (General Manager). This will never be a stay for me ever again, even if it means going to a Marriott Property or others!

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Upon check in I was even given a choice of which available floor I wanted to be on. It's not luxury accommodations but met all of our needs, more so than a standard hotel room, for sure.

In fact he acted like he was going to walk away from the front desk when I was trying to check in. Apparently he was annoyed because I didn't respond to a text message in the Marriott app which doesn't always trigger a notification on my phone. I really didn't care for this reaction as long as I got a clean room and got a later checkout time. Needless to say this was the first time I was given a flat no when requesting a later checkout. Usually if there is high volume or conflict there is some negotiation and that is fine but this time it seemed like a continuation of the bad attitude. Strangely enough it seemed approved in the app later which is most likely to make it look like I received my benefit to corporate but in reality not. The next day my key didn't work to get into my room earlier than usual. Skip visiting if you have status.

So.. the first room that my bf and I were given was absolutely DISGUSTING!! There is hole in bathroom door, room smelled gross, bathroom has tools and a can of WD-40 on sink counter, and it smelled like some kind of aerosol odor in there! So of course, I reached out to my bf's mom and she went to the front desk and asked for another room. The woman working was incredibly rude. She didn't want to deal with any guests. After his mom explained what was going on and how gross the room was, the employee gave us another room. As we walked away, she was acting shady. All she wanted to do was hide and be on the phone. She tried to make it where nobody could see or hear her. Well, that did not work. She stared me down and I could hear her talking smack. How incredibly disgraceful and sneaky.. for real! We went in and inspected it before getting our luggage and moving in into that room. Everything looked great.. Until we noticed mold in the bathroom! Yes, you heard that right.. MOLD on the wall of the SHOWER/TUB! TV does not work either. The toilet leaks when flushed. This hotel was so much nicer 17 years ago... It has changed DRASTICALLY! Not in a good way. The employees are nasty, They clearly do not want to work, nor be bothered. All they wanna do is hide and be on their phone! Hot tub, that is puny! Oddly shaped IMO. Pool is on the smaller side.
