I can't recommend Wallingford Dental Care and Dr. Moin enough! Dr. Moin is incredibly detail-oriented, patient to explain everything and has such a positive energy. I've referred my own clients to this practice because the care is truly top-notch. Molly is fantastic with Invisalign and has a very gentle touch, and Kim at the front desk is amazing--she really goes to bat for patients with insurance advocacy. After years of avoiding the dentist, this team has earned my total trust and changed my perspective on dental care. read more

Having had bad dental experiences in the past this place and it's staff have been wonderful. I highly recommend them.

This is a long overdue review. I have been going to Dr. Moin's office since he took over Wallingford Dental Arts several years ago. I only had the best dental experience with this new office called Wallingford Dental Care. Dr. Moin did a filling of my tooth that potentially needed a root canal. We gave it a try and it was a success-several years later, the tooth nerve is still there! Last year, we moved to the east side. I recently had an unfortunate experience with a dentist near my new house (I thought it was a small chip and that dentist was close by, but I learnt my lesson). After the filling was done by the new dentist, I was not able to chew celery/Dave's Killer bread/lettuce. It was a stressful situation since my vacation overseas was coming up in two days! Dr. Moin was able to quickly fit me in his busy schedule. My husband and I emotionally explained what happened, and Dr. Moin carefully listened. It is really impressive that instead of being influenced by the emotions behind our story (showing compassion though), Dr. Moin was able to analyze the images and help us realize that what really happened might not be what we think. Not only that, he came up with a creative solution based on the shape of my tooth, which I had never even thought about. The outcome is just amazing! I went from not being able to drink cold/hot water yesterday due to the sensitivity to happily eating a popsicle this afternoon. No one else will be messing with my teeth from now on. I learned my lesson and would totally pay 200 USD lyft/uber to go back to Dr. Moin, because it is well worth the money to avoid any dental issues that can arise due to unprofessional dental work. Above is my story of the only time I went to a different dentist during the past several years and how Dr. Moin was able to fix the situation. If he still takes new patients, do not hesitate. You can not find a better dentist in the solar system. read more

Went here for first time 2 weeks ago.i was so nervous I hadn't been to a dentist in 20 years.everyone was fantastic from the very nice receptionist, to the dental assistant who was so nice and patient with me.i would give this place 5 stars if I could. read more

I was referred to Dr Moin by an orthodontist. I am new to the area and so happy that I found the best dentist I have ever been to. Dr. Moin is smart, kind, gentle, and thorough. I highly recommend him and his kind and competent staff. read more

My wonderful dentist retired after over 20 years of wonderful care and I was trying to find the right dentist to replace him. Here's what I was looking for: a dentist who is thorough but takes a conservative approach, who listens to questions and concerns, who asks what you are wanting out of your dental care, explains the options, explains concerns, provides clear guidance on what to expect, has a warm, friendly and well informed office staff and hygienists who are efficient but gentle. That's exactly what I found in Dr Moin. I'm so glad I tried out this neighborhood dentist. Highly recommend. read more

Dr. Moin and his team are fantastic! I've never felt so comfortable and well taken care of at the dentist. He is extremely professional and considerate, and I would refer anyone including family and friends to him. Everyone has such a positive attitude, and I actually look forward to improving my oral health now. read more

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Moin, I was very pleased! He and his staff were friendly and it felt like they really spent time listening and making sure they understood my dental history and current needs. I was impressed with the thoroughness of the first visit and the advanced technology used. I will be returning for future visits. read more

Dr. Moin is thoughtful, thorough and explains things well. I feel more motivated to prioritize my dental care after hearing his explanation of my dental issues. His office staff is also kind and thorough. Overall the best dental experience I have had! read more

Dr. Moin should start a side gig where he trains other dentists on how to be more personable and better explain imaging and treatment. I had never had a dentist appointment where the doctor spent time going over the X-ray findings with me and his suggestions (not decisions, those were left up to me) around my dental care. Also, the dental hygienist was super thorough and kind. I am so happy I found this place and highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an honest and kind dentist. read more

You hear the term gentle dentist bandied about. Dr.Moin Is the real thing. He is very thorough explaining exactly what he is going to proceed to do. And office staff is friendly and informative. I was pleasantly surprised how much street parking there is. Parking very close to the building. read more

Had one of my best dental office experiences here. The office staff were great, Kim made everything easy as did the entire dental team. They accompanied my sensitive mouth and the exam was informative all around. They also didn't push a huge dental plan on me right away which I really appreciated. I'll be back for continued dental care without a doubt. read more

I was very sad to have had to leave this practice last year due to an insurance change. Although Dr McIntyre has since retired, this review is also for the fantastic staff. They were always kind, accommodating, and would always go to bat for me with my insurance company. Maybe someday I will be able to be a patient of theirs again! read more

I had a really positive experience here. The dental assistant was very personable and gentle when flossing my teeth :D the doctor really took the time to explain himself. Already booked for my next cleaning. read more

I have been seeing Dr. McIntyre (who recently retired) fairly consistently since the early 80's. I have been very satisfied. Yes, I was shown a very expensive treatment plan at one point. However, I simply declined what I didn't think was necessary. I couldn't see the point of having perfect teeth if my face was a wreck (well, aging anyway). I've had very good service at the office from front desk staff, to hygienists and assistants. Last week I met Dr. McIntyre's replacement, Dr. Moin, who now owns the business. I liked him: I found him personable and informative. I will definitely continue giving my business to Wallingford Dental Arts. read more

I have been to many dentists throughout the country and I am so impressed by the cleaning service here and the overall friendliness of everyone in the establishment. I also finally went and did some other needed dental work and they were incredibly wonderful. It was great to be in a place that didn't have that corporate robot vibe as well. I'm not sure why these reviews are so bad on here- They've always been easy for me to set up an appointment and incredible listeners. read more

I have been going to Wallingford Dental Arts since I was a kid and I've always had stellar experiences! The hygienists are friendly and do a top notch job, and the owner is a talented dentist who cares for her patients as individuals. All mouths (and people) are different, after all! The whole staff works hard to ensure my questions are answered and that each visit is a delight. I have never been pressured to get work done. When I did opt to get a couple cavities filled they juggled the schedule to save me a trip and see me that same day! If you are looking for a fun, talented and ethical office that puts the patients' needs before the almighty greenback, definitely check them out! read more

I have been a patient at Wallingford Dental Arts for 35 years. That's loyalty! My dentist just retired after nearly 4 decades caring for patients in northeast Seattle. So, I was understandably a bit unsure about continuing without her and getting used to a new dentist. My worries were completely unfounded! Dr. Moin is personable, caring, and an excellent dentist. He is seamlessly carrying on the tradition of Dr. McIntyre. I'll be staying with Dr. Moin for my, and my family's, dental care. read more

I had two mediocre experiences here: 1) Similar to Jaime C. they charged more than the average dental provider so I had to pay more than $100 for my routine exam and cleaning even though I had good dental insurance. 2) They recommended that I get a crown for a tooth that I haven't had any problems with--and no previous or subsequent dentist recommended the work. I worry they recommended a treatment for me that was unnecessary. read more

I'm embarrassed to say that it's been 2 years since I've been to the dentist (except for the occasional cleaning appointment now that I live in Austin TX). I still only go to Dr. McIntyre for all my bigger dental needs (cavities, crack tooth repair, etc) since I still cannot find a local dentist that comes close to Dr. McIntyre. I saw Dr. McIntyre about a month ago to get my cracked tooth fixed, refill a cavity and I also decided to get a custom night guard since I started showing signs of teeth grinding. Once again, I cannot tell you how much I love Dr. McIntyre's time she spends to explain why investing in a night guard is very important as the years go by. I am so happy I decided to get the custom night guard because I'm actually waking up with less headaches and it's super comfortable to wear (it's not like who large night guards that make it hard to breath). I continue to highly recommend WDA for all your dental needs! They are caring, professional, friendly, knowledgeable and I don't trust anyone else to touch my teeth than Dr. McIntyre. read more

I'm really, really sorry to post this review. I like Doc Mc personally, I really do, and I started off putting my faith in her and her staff completely. But after six years of ongoing office and hygienist problems, after feeling jerked around and poorly listened to, I needed a break. I thought, well, probably no one will be better. Frankly, I expected to return after trying someone else. But there was something I didn't find out until after I left. And it's important. I came to WDA with a history of great teeth. Not just good, but great. Dentist after dentist told me that I was their dream patient, fabulous teeth, excellent home care. After a year or so going to WDA, I asked what the deal was with the line I was feeling with my tongue at the edge of my gums. "That's your gums receding." I was told. "The roots of your teeth creating a line. Aging, is what it is. Nothing we can do about it. You'll just have to get used to it." I was disappointed, but I had put my trust in them as my experts. It seemed things were changing in my previously excellent mouth. Cleaning after cleaning, hygienist after hygienist -- and they were always different people -- it was there. I had come to accept that my mouth was never going to feel as good as it used to. Then I went to my new dentist. In 10 minutes the hygienist at the new dentist removed the so-called "root line" of my teeth. Stunned, I asked for an explanation. "That's just plaque," she said. "I took it off." My teeth had simply not been cleaned well, not in the six years at WDA, not by any hygienist there, nor noticed by the doctor. Despite my going every four to six months, on schedule. Now, for the first time in six years, my mouth feels clean. It feels SO clean. Like it used to. I'm so happy. SO happy. "Oh, by the way," said my new dentist at my most recent checkup. "You have great teeth. Whatever you're doing at home to keep them clean? Keep doing it." read more

I've been using Wallingford Dental Arts for 25 years. I've moved house twice, but wouldn't dream of using anyone else. Now that Dr Moin is in charge, it's better than before. He--and his staff--are kind, thoughtful, clear, and thorough. Highly recommended! read more

Compared to my previous dentist offices, which felt impersonal and lecture-y, the entire WDA team was warm and professional. The doctor and his assistant took their time explaining all their concerns and opportunities. I also appreciate Dr. Moin's timely answering of my questions after the appointment (via email). The entire experience has felt very efficient. read more

I looked through a lot of reviews before posting my review in her. I do not know who ran this place before, but currently, this place run by Dr. Imahn Moin. I've seen him on several occasions. My latest appointment was an emergency (I broke my front tooth in half). I called them, they very helpful and attentive, asked me several times if I'm in pain and what they can do to help me to not be in pain, and squeezed me into doctors schedule with no problems. Dr. Moin fixed my broken tooth so now it looks and feels even better then my original. He even took a step further, and discussed with me all my options for this tooth in a long run (which I really much appreciated cause I would rather take care of this now then pay twice as much later). Overall, I'm very pleased with this place. I definitely a loyal client of Dr. Moin (simply because I want to hold on to a really great doctor as soon as I find one), and I do highly recommend this place. read more

I have never had a more positive dental experience than this last year with Dr Moin and the amazing staff of Wallingford Dental Arts. Everyone is kind, committed to patient care, and gentle with cleanings and other procedures. I feel welcomed and safe there, and I know I will always get good, clear advice with all my options explained thoroughly and all my questions answered. read more

Hands down the most callous dentist I've ever been to. They *could* fix my teeth, but they just couldn't be bothered. If I didn't have insurance, I could understand. However, I do and so being handed my x-rays and told to go to someone else was a bit shocking. I suppose they might be worth going to for simple cleanings, etc. But if you need anything beyond a filling, look elsewhere. I had an exposed nerve, which was quite painful, and Dr. McIntyre openly said "I don't think it's worth my time to try fixing it". Way to treat someone in PAIN. Indifferent, and grossly unprofessional. I wouldn't set foot in their office again if they were the last dentist on Earth. read more

This place is a complete joke, they don't answer their phone and don't return calls/emails. I can't say I've ever used them, because I can't get a hold of them. It's hard to give them a chance after realizing their customer service is non-existant read more

Wallingford Dental Arts does not even deserve a single star. Some of the most painful and uncomfortable dental work I have experienced and that is before they charge a criminal amount of money for sub par work! A co-working of mine recommended Dr. Mac and after years of amazing dentistry from Dr. A. Misleh in California, I was looking for a solid recommendation. My initial impression was mixed. The receptionist was very nice and my hygienists was a little rough but not unpleasant. Dr. Mac seemed kind and competent and sort of wowed me with the "data" she was going to put together for my future treatment plan. I was a little surprised when I received a lecture about my dental hygiene. I had been to my old dentist regularly for over 5 years and always had great check ups. Only work I had done there was replacing a couple old metal fillings. But Wallingford Dental Arts made me feel really ashamed by my teeth. Then, when I came back to view my power point treatment plan, the doctor was recommending some pretty expensive work and really laid the guilt on hard. There was no way I could afford the out of pocket cost for night guards and braces so I declined the treatment plan. I tried to brush it off and still trusted the recommendation my friend gave me. I even encouraged my partner to transfer to the office. Over the next year, Dr Mac found 2 new fillings and both happened to be in "very tricky areas," requiring her to drill into neighboring teeth. She also recommended a crown for one of the fillings i had repaired in California. The estimate I received seemed very high to me but i chalked it up to Washington rates. I have Delta Dental which was also my California provider, but i know that coverage can change by state so i didn't question it. I elected for the fillings and denied the crown which I could not afford, cue another guilt trip. I paid my out of pocket fee and after 4 hours of pretty painful dental work, went on my way. Months later, I received a new bill in the mail that was larger then the first payment I made day of service. My old office seemed to have no trouble estimating my out of pocket very accurately and even gave me money back if insurance covered more than expected. But Wallingford Dental Arts seems to consistently underestimate by about 50%!!! And, to make matters worse, the bills are sent out months later, and give 3-4 days till payment is due!! My partner has had an even more terrible experience. Dr. Mac seems to have broken her tooth during her second visit. When she went back in to fix the problem, she was put through another many hours long, painful procedure, and then was charged an insane amount more than quoted for both visits! Even though the second visit was to repair a mistake from the 1st!!! This is an office full of crooks who will do whatever it takes to squeeze more money out of you!!!! DO NOT trust this office with your teeth or your money! I will never set foot in that building again! read more

I come all the way up here from Oregon to have my care. I have wonderful dental insurance; I don't even have a co-pay. When I called I asked if they took my insurance, off course they said yes. For me it doesn't really matter my insurance cover out of network the same as in network. The only stipulation is that it has to be reasonable charges. That means they have to be with in an industry and or location average. I specifically asked about this and the receptionist did not hesitate to answer. It turns out they charge 31% more than average dentist. So my standard visit with no co-pay turned into $110 dollars. They deal with many patients and many types of insurance. To not answer that question honestly is horrible. The simple answer would have been, here are our standard costs, check with your insurance. I would have done so and then not gone there. I understand the concept of making money but for a standard service, that is excessive. read more

I just moved away from Seattle, and boy did I miss Wallingford Dental Arts when I first tried a new dentist in my new hometown. Fortunately I've since found a great dentist, but after 7 years as a WDA patient, the bar was set very high! Everyone on the team is friendly, patient, and professional, and I got to the point where I didn't mind going to the dentist. I mean, who actually *enjoys* it? But they made it as good as it could be and made this reluctant patient a regular customer and good about keeping up on my preventative care. read more

Their prices are ridiculous and they make you feel bad about your teeth. They made about 100 suggestions for how to improve my smile... including fixing my gums being too low on my canines, for aesthetic purposes only. They wouldn't stop their list of stuff to fix even when I told them I was fine with my smile. After suggesting two crowns, I decided I'd check with my former dentist (moved from Cap Hill to Wallingford) to see what they thought about the power point presentation and estimate I was given regarding my teeth. (I'm not kidding about a power point presentation.) Well, they said that they definitely didn't recommend the crowns, but if I wanted, they charged only $800 per crown while Wallingford Dental Arts charges $1600 per crown. I will say that the receptionist and the staff were extremely friendly, and they give you one heck of a goodie bag. They can certainly afford it! I've since returned to my dentist on Cap Hill. I'd rather make the trek there than have unnecessary (expensive) work done on my teeth. Also, no thanks for making me self conscious about how low my gums are some of my teeth! Certainly nothing I had ever noticed before! read more

I can't warn you enough about staying away from Wallingford Dental Arts. I once called the dental emergency line when my permanent retainer popped off (the kind that is attached to my lower front teeth) and I didn't get a call back for five days. FIVE DAYS on the emergency line. They're billing practices are unethical. I have double coverage and they repeatedly bill the insurance that pays the most, WHICH IS ILLEGAL. They should bill the primary insurance first and then the secondary. They assume you don't understand billing and try to take advantage of the insurance companies. Wallingford Dental Arts always has new staff. This tells me that they can't hold onto staff because they treat them poorly. What's more since I finally switched to a new dentist I couldn't believe how different it was. My new dentist didn't believe that I had regular cleanings despite me having been to Wallingford Dental Arts every six months for the last few years of my life. She cleaned me teeth for 1/2 an hour and my teeth looked like they had been professionally whitened. Wallingford Dental Arts did such a poor job with each cleaning that a permanent build up made them yellow. Just one cleaning with a competent dentist made a huge difference. Save yourself! Find another dentist. read more
