I was highly surprised by this location, it serves a great deal of value. From clothing to shoes to…read moreany sports item you can think of. I enjoyed my visit because it has a modern taste of the later built Dick's around the city. I love how much space each section/department has, I didn't feel crowded and I felt I had time to throughly shop. Staff were solid, connect with you from time to time but continued to do their tasks. The shoe department staff were extremely attentive, I saw them touch base with everyone that entered their section. I want to visit other locations to see how they compare, because this location is high quality for sure. The product on the shelves are full. The parking situation is decent, typical parking lot. The shopping mall has other popular stores so you can park at Dicks and walk the entire strip. I'm gonna come back and see what else I experience.

I feel like they offer a little retry good value with some decent discounts that run throughout various times of the year. If you're not a name brand person their DSG brand has some pretty good options for a low cost as well!

Ordered a bike for pickup since it was the only one left in the nearby metro area. The associate that pointed it out was very nice but he mentioned that whoever put the bike together had checked it off as good to go but missed all the bike damage. The bike had about 3 areas where the metal was scraped/exposed on the frame (divots) and the tires/pedals were clearly worn. There were scratches under the seat, the rubber handle bars at the ends had scuffs and it just looked like a used bike. They did offer 10-15% off but the price was still over $120 after taxes. I was very disappointed that I drove that far for a bike that looked like it was used and returned and I wasn't made aware of the damage ahead of time. Ended up passing, got a refund, and left with nothing.

I saw some cute Bondi 9's. I researched Hoka website and they are a neutral shoe, but will work for overpronation, which my friend says I have. They were comfortable walking in the shoe dept. I also needed a new cover for my thrift store Stanley. I did score 20% off. What bothers me is they say they have a military discount but supposedly this store doesn't do that. Scheels offers 5% off. I'm glad I had a 20% discount for these spendy $174 shoes. Hope they are comfortable for my new side fun job this summer. I will be walking a lot and enjoying concerts.

It was Friday, I was working, but I figured I'd run get it Saturday morning. So I bought it. On Saturday morning, I received an email saying the club was not available in area stores. Shipping was my only option. I'm golfing on Sunday and I won't have the club I needed to replace. Classic bait and switch; don't use this feature, it's a trick. This is why the store "Dicks."

I was looking online to see if they carry converse, as I was looking for a pair of regular black chucks. When I entered the store there were tons of staff all over which is nice to see these days. I browsed the men's section first since the shoes are pretty much the same, I couldn't find them at first so I went across the store over to the women's and couldn't find converse in women's either. I did notice the women's shoes wasn't as busy as the men's. I browsed around a bit (no one greeted me or anything in men's or women's). I did finally find them under a table display and they only had platforms for women's so I went back over to men's to take another look. I did find them and waited for a salesman to assist me. A man walked up (after me) and the shoe he wanted was next to stock room so he was helped right away. I waited and asked for help.. I was told by a rep that he had to go check on some other customers, I kept waiting and being ignored to the point I witnessed reps asking people still looking around if they needed help and finally someone came up to help me, I asked for a 7 (as I'm a 8 1/2, 9 in women's), he came back and told me the smallest size they have is an 8 which is too big. He asked who I was shopping for, I said myself and he asked me what size I wear and I said about a 9 in women's and he said "well this is men's" as if I was blind. I was greeted by Kathleen, who is a total gem, and was directed to a bench to place my belongings. I then did a 3D foot scan, followed by a quick walk up and down the store so she could watch my gait. Kathleen brought the tablet over and we looked at the scans. She said a lot of foot terms and I nodded along, fully trusting the process. Shoes were suggested and then taken for a spin around the store. They were all excellent choices, but I had to choose one and went with a pair of Asics. I was so glad I had a shoe guide for the journey. Kathleen was knowledgeable and kind. The store has running accessories, apparel, and even nutrition offerings. I'm not saying I'm a runner, but I would definitely make a return visit for another pair of shoes down the road.

I'm in love with Smartwool socks, I try to find them on clearance through the outlet section of the app and pick them up at the store. Sometimes they have them on clearance here but not usually. The brands are great...nice, quality things do cost more but they also last longer. The REI brand is really good too, a little more affordable than Marmot, The North Face, Arc'teryx, etc without giving up too much on quality. It's worth it to become a member, one time $20 fee for a 10% dividend on purchases to use in store. Something about coming in makes me want to be more of an outdoors person and buy stuff I don't really need.
