Old-fashioned customer service thrives at Waller Tire. I've visited the Hopewell location several times, and service has always been prompt, courteous, and professional. Most recently, I wanted an existing tire mounted on a new rim. The technician found a problem inside the tire and explained that it would be unsafe to continue driving on it. I drive by Walker's, on a daily basis, on my way home from work. They are ALWAYS busy, which is an indication that there is something good going on here. While doing yard work, I got a flat tire on my tractor. I took the tire off and immediately thought about Waller's. I stopped in the next evening and the owner gave me a cost ( much less than I was expecting) to repair it. I told him that I would return the next day, when I had some cash in my pocket, but he told me to leave it and it would be ready when I returned. This service is much greater than I would have ever expected. On my return the following day, my tire was done, at a cost less than promised. Please don't let the outward appearance of Waller's tire place fool you. This business is the real deal. I always try to buy local and this place will keep me on that mission. Went in with a tire that had low pressure. Technician discovered staple in the shoulder of the tire. Technician proceeded to patch tire. While the service was very quick, you can't patch a tire that has a puncture in the shoulder of the tread, nor can you patch a sidewalk. Disappointing that he didn't just say "you need to replace the tire." Otherwise I'd go back for some services there but a little concerned regarding the potential danger of Waller not knowing the latest. read more

I had a flat, a really FLAT flat, and came to them for help after getting my spare put in. They were extremely helpful and quick, and started evaluating my tire almost immediately after I walked through the door. Two men worked on filling the tire, finding the leak, patching it, and putting my spare back. The whole process took around 30 minutes (maybe even less), and only cost me $15! I was able to drive to work right after without being crazy late. I would definitely recommend Waller to anyone who needs help with tires. Yesterday I was coming down the road with my lawnmower in a box van and I had to stop in at a tire place is quickly as possible so I could return the van. I had passed by this business so many times and never turned in. What was I missing? Yup, four gentleman took care of my every issue with that tire. Quick as a wink I was out of there with a very low bill. They didn't cheat or gouge me but fixed the tire in the best way possible and as fast as they could. I love this tire shop. I came in one morning before a road trip back home with a tire that was leaking air. The guys were so helpful and patient with my tire issue. We were driving to Myrtle Beach from the Philadelphia area when two of our tires went flat -- roofing nails from a repair job on our garage. We apparently ran over them in our driveway.
