Ilya and his crew came out next day, gave me an estimate, and stuck to it. The work was very professional, and finished on time with no extra charges. This meant the patio contractors could finish their job with only a small delay. I highly recommend Advanced Home Repairs.

After booking my appointment weeks in advance (he couldn't get me in sooner than that?), he was a COMPLETE NO-SHOW. Apparently, even my texting him earlier on the same day of that first missed appointment didn't make him realize that we had an appointment that day. After he didn't show, I called him, & he rescheduled for the very next day (why did it take him weeks to get me in before?). And then he canceled the SECOND appointment an hour or two before the appointment window was ending, so effectively, a no-show 2 days in a row. (I had taken 2 days off work for him.) He told me he "didn't do" the floor repairs I needed an estimate of, though he had scheduled me for exactly that in the first place, & prior to the FIRST missed appointment, he already had photos of my flooring. Then he never texted back after just telling me he wouldn't help me. His communication was consistently slow or absent. One of the worst parts was that when I wrote a complaint about him on Yelp, he had the nerve to reply & say he had never heard of me & that we had never done business together, not realizing I've got ALL the receipts--incoming & outgoing phone calls to his phone number, and texts showing exactly what he said to me & when he said it--he even signed his name to those texts. When I called him out on his outright lies, telling him I could prove it, he literally immediately deleted & rewrote his reply to me to be all sweet and apologetic, which REPLACED the answer where he basically called me a liar & said he had no idea who I was and that we had never been in contact. (He replied that to someone else awhile back, too. Makes me think that was a lie as well.) Ilya is a DOUBLE NO-SHOW, an outright liar, & a real piece of work. SUPER shady. Most good businesses have at least 1 employee that will impress you--great ones, perhaps 2-3. Got Rot has somehow managed to only hire individuals that blow you away at every stage. Literally every stage. Starting with sales, meet Vlad, with his honest pricing and "treat you like his family approach," you'll know he cares and that to him you are more than just a number. Next meet Ilya, who with fierce diligence will deal with the city process for you, going above and beyond to make magic happen. Then meet Darik and Artem, incredibly knowledgeable project managers who look out for things that you don't even know about, doing so much work behind the scenes, and before you know it you wake up one day to a beautiful deck. Lastly, meet the best installers, heck some of the best employees, I have ever met in my life, Daniel and Efim. They exemplify the professionalism, integrity, and work ethic of the entire Got Rot family. They are hidden gems of Got Rot, in addition to being kind, driven, and men of character. Businesses love to say "We take pride in our work!" Easy words to say. Got Rot lives it. They embody it with their actions and you can pretty much feel it as they give 110% working HARD even through the grueling summer heat. This is the Dream Team. Go with Got Rot. 10/10. Daniel came over and gave a very honest and thorough assessment. He said that all I had was paint peeling due to beams not being primed before painting, but there was no sign of rot. The only work that needs to be done is a repaint. If you want an honest and trust worthy business, Got Rot is who you would want to go with. I will definitely be reaching out to Got Rot again in the future if I have any future problems. Best, Kevin

I never had to chase them or double-check anything. Alex even pulled me aside during framing to show me how it all met code and sent me progress pictures, which gave me a lot of confidence that he knew what he was doing. I also asked for some extra work like painting the railing and replacing the gates, and he took care of it for a fair price. In the end, I'm really happy with the ramp, the gate he fixed, and the other deck repairs they did. I'd definitely recommend them -- great guys, very communicative, pay attention to detail, and well worth the money. And I've worked with a lot of contractors, so I don't say that lightly.

Alex was able to come by to give us a quote quickly and offered a reasonable estimate. We've had issues with untrustworthy contractors and were cautious when getting quotes. Immediately upon meeting Alex, we felt extremely comfortable with his professionalism and honesty and ultimately went with him for the job. During the work, he uncovered some additional rot to the siding of our home. Given that this was something completely unexpected, he offered us different options such as getting second opinions, etc on how to resolve the issue. We felt incredibly comfortable and decided to stick with Alex to repair the rotted siding. Not only did he do a great job on the siding as well, but he worked day and night to help us repair everything as soon as possible. Alex was communicative, showed up on time and did incredible quality work! We will absolutely be using Eco Home Repair for all of decking repair needs!

Our project manager Kevin was amazing and paid attention to every detail, including things I never would have noticed. The work team was here every day rain or shine and busted out the whole project in less than 2 weeks. Becca at the office stayed on top of our project and was incredibly supportive while we worked through obtaining our funds. In the end we ended up with the exterior of our dreams. We will definitely be going back to Pacific Exteriors when it is time to do the roof.

We hired Pacific Exteriors last year to paint the exterior of our home and repair some siding. I've…read moreactually been putting off writing this review because I was so frustrated by the experience that I didn't really want to revisit it. Now, a year and $20,000+ later, I've probably willingly forgotten some of the most frustrating details, but unfortunately the issues we're continuing to find with the finished product finally prompted me to write it. The initial consultation and sales process were great, and I also really liked the color consultation service they partnered with, which allowed us to digitally visualize different options on our home. That said, because part of our exterior is vinyl, we were limited to vinyl-safe colors, and the designer wasn't up to date on which colors or paint lines qualified, so that part wasn't quite as helpful as it could have been. I will also give Pacific Exteriors credit for being very patient with me while I chose colors and even changed my mind a few times before the paint was purchased. Once the actual project started, though, things became pretty disorganized. What was supposed to be, if I remember correctly, roughly a two-week project ended up stretching over more than two months. We tried to be very understanding because we know exterior work involves weather, crews, materials and a lot of moving pieces. But this is also what a large, established company does every day, and we felt there should have been a much better system for managing the project and communicating with us. The biggest frustration was that communication was almost entirely reactive rather than proactive. As the project stretched on, we regularly had to reach out ourselves to ask when crews would be returning, what the schedule was, and when the work would actually be completed. Updates generally weren't provided unless we asked for them. There were days crews showed up when we weren't expecting them, and other days or weekends when we were specifically told they would be working, so we rearranged or canceled plans to stay out of their way, only for no one to show up and no one to communicate the change. There were also many mornings when trucks would arrive around 8 or 9, disappear, and then work wouldn't actually begin until around noon. We were genuinely patient about delays and understood that schedules change. What became difficult to excuse was being repeatedly left wondering whether anyone was coming and having to continually follow up ourselves for basic information about a project that had already gone weeks beyond its expected timeline. Unfortunately, the workmanship has also been disappointing over time. During the project, we had to walk through multiple times and point out areas that needed more attention or touch-ups. Within a few months, we already had some peeling. Now, about a year later, we're finding areas where the old paint is visible through the new paint, making it clear those spots weren't adequately prepped or covered. Most concerning, we've also discovered areas where entire strips of blue painter's tape were simply painted over. Those strips are now surfacing and peeling away with the paint. Before leaving this review, I reached back out to Pacific Exteriors to give them the opportunity to come take a look at these issues and correct them. Unfortunately, I received no response. Given how much we spent and how recently the work was completed, I would have at least expected an acknowledgment and an opportunity to discuss the problems we're seeing. I recognize that our experience may not be representative of every Pacific Exteriors project, especially given the number of positive reviews they have. That's part of why we gave them so much patience throughout the process and why I've hesitated to leave this review. But looking back, these weren't just occasional scheduling hiccups or a missed touch-up. A project we expected to take around two weeks stretched beyond two months, with us repeatedly having to initiate communication just to understand what was happening. For a $20,000+ exterior project, the communication, project management, preparation and attention to detail simply weren't what we expected from a company of this size and reputation. And now, only a year later, seeing peeling, inadequate coverage and other workmanship issues, and receiving no response when we've asked them to address those concerns, has made the overall experience even more disappointing.
