I traveled from the US on 08 12 22 to Vancouver for a two week vacation. Fifteen minutes after we arrived at the Hotel I broke a large tooth. I went to the hotel front desk and they suggested I see if your practice could help. We walked over to the office on a friday afternoon at 3:45 and explained my issue. The staff said no problem we can fit you in roughly 20 minutes. They x-rayed, took pictures and were able to prepare my tooth for our two week vacation! I wish I could give this team more that a five star rating! They were professional, kind, responsive without any hesitation. I have been to Wall centre Dental a few times now , and my first impression was great as the front desk girl was pretty nice and the assistants were genuine(Melisa and Dominica) , my dentist was Roshan younger guy also very friendly,Customer service was good. What i didn't like is that this place is crazy busy and on my last appointment i felt my work was rushed , Dr Roshen was running between me and the patient next room, so he was trying to do two work at the same time, in fact he froze the top of my mouth (which even made me not feel my nose for hours) and ended up by not being able to finish the work, my work that was suppose to be an hour lasted more than 2 hours(I waited manytimes with tubes in my mouth while the dentist was in the other room working on someone else), I think its unprofessional for a dentist to freeze someone and then tell em "hey look I am overbooked and i wont finish the work, come back some other time" in a previous appointment the hygienist spent 45 minutes on my cleaning and told me i have to come back for the other half? I have been getting my teeth cleaned 4 times now and this is the first time ever that hygienist has told me i need two appointments for cleaning which i found odd. oh and two appointments means twice the billing:-) Its unfortunate because i liked the staff at wallcentre but I am disappointed and will be looking at my other options in the area , read more

That's right, it is as good as it get's for a dentist. I don't know how many people like the Dentist but I sure don't. But this place is nice. This place is located just underneath the Wall Centre in downtown Vancouver on Hornby st. It is a very nice and modern Dental office. Very friendly staff that are more than happy to help you out. Service is a breeze, no hassle. also it is not expensive or anything, they just charge the standard rates. Dentists and Hygienists are mostly younger females so I would highly recommend this office if you don't really want an old grandpa dentist working on your teeth. =P read more

I love my dentist. Does anybody actually ever say this? I do. Dr. Boyd was recommended to me by my brother in law. Now, many of my family members go to him. In fact, I just booked my next appointment today. I have recommended Dr. Boyd to several friends, and they all are satisfied. He is kind, gentle, explains what he is going to do, etc. My kids love going to see Dr. Boyd. No fear of dentists here! Dr. Boyd and his staff are all nice, and experienced at what they do. I've now had five cavities filled by Diana. She is funny, wonderful, and very talented! The entire procedure was explained to me thoroughly. Diana did a slow, steady freeze to avoid pain and discomfort. She was proficient, speedy and very precise. We did 4/5 cavities before ending the appointment. I returned three hours later to complete the final filling and to check my current bite. I also gave her feedback on my first filling, with concerns of a spur and something feeling wrong. She honed in on the problem and we worked it out until it felt normal and I was confident and happy with her work. The final filling was pretty easy. Once the second round of freezing wore off, I got a good feel of everything and I'm incredibly impressed! Diana is a master at filling, sculpting and shaping. My teeth and bite feel identical to how they were when I came in. Perfection! There was absolutely zero pain or discomfort during the procedure and no recovery pains. Not that I hope to have more extensive dental work done, but I know who I can trust when in need. Thanks! read more

Dr. Boyd is a great guy - his prices are extremely fair and most importantly (unlike many dentists) he is honest. There is no worry of him inflating your treatment and he is very sensitive to anyone who may have any dental anxieties. Bonus: His receptionist is a total doll and super friendly! read more

I found Wall Centre Dental from Yelp, so I may as well write a review to support! My first impression, after Yelp, was a warm voice on the phone as I made my first appointment. She was such a sweetheart, not rushing me at all despite that I had a few questions. Willing to work with my schedule, and does Direct Billing (woo hoooo!) When I arrived for my appointment I received a similar service from both of the girls behind the desk. The hygienist, the girl who did the x-rays, and Dr. Milton were all funny and personable. They were quick. I didn't have to wait long in the chair whatsoever. And everything they've done to date has been amazing. I would completely recommend this dentist. Despite that it's in Yaletown, which may throw up red flags of pretentiousness, it didn't have that feel at all. read more

The dental hygienists are friendly, efficient, and thorough, as are the dentists. I had excellent experience. They got me in fast, did a very thorough exam and cleaning and answered all of my questions. I was impressed by the staff and facilities. Very professional Not only was it a great experience, but I think the clinic is awesome. With all the modern amenities and excellent staff which of course, included Dr. Roshanzamir who was very reassuring. They are also very good on assisting you with insurance matters. read more

I've had Dr. Roshan for a couple fillings and a tooth extractions (and an implant will be coming up in the near future). He's the best dentist I've had so far. He explains the procedures extremely well - before and, most importantly for me, while he's performing them. I don't get overly nervous about going to the dentist, just a bit tense, but knowing what's going on with the procedure really helps. I also really appreciate not being lectured (as I have been with other dentists) about not going in as soon as I felt there was something wrong with my tooth (the extracted one). Surprisingly, I'm not at all worried about going in for an implant (I'll update after I get it). The rest of the staff have also been really friendly. The reception staff are very welcoming. I recently moved to Vancouver and needed to find a dentist, but felt very apprehensive, because I've had a couple of bad experiences. I walked by their office and popped my head in to get an idea of how long of a wait-list they had, and the receptionists were so friendly and welcoming that I booked an appointment right away. Dr. Roshan did my fillings and I found him to be gentle, warm, and very good at his job. He explained the process to me thoroughly, and genuinely seemed to care about my experience. So far I have had a 5 appointments for different things (cleaning, dental work, mouth guard etc) and each time I've been there, every receptionist, hygienist, and dentist I have had an interaction with was friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and professional. I seriously have not encountered one person who was grumpy, impatient, or even seemed to be having a bad day. The entire vibe is really great, and I think that's important because dental work can be stressful. I'm also quite impressed that I've never had to wait for an appointment. They usually have appointments available within a week or so, and I never have to sit in the waiting room for more than 5 minutes before my appointment starts. I've waited up to 45 minutes at other dental offices, so this was really nice for me! One of the most important things for me is that they do direct billing to my benefits, and they even took the time to submit a test-claim beforehand, to double check my coverage so I wouldn't be surprised and have to pay out of pocket. Their fees are right in line with Pacific Blue Cross standards too, so after 5 fillings, all I had to pay was about $25 for one thing that PBC didn't cover. I will definitely be coming back to Wall Centre Dental for as long as I live in Vancouver, and I will continue to recommend Dr. Roshan and the entire clinic to all of my friends and coworkers! read more

I had such a great experience the first time here! The second time left much to be desired. First of all, my teeth are screaming with pain right now from my cleaning. I keep getting random sharp pains and feel uncomfortable. She went way too deep and hit my tooth nerves. They've never been like this after a visit before. Second of all, my hygienist was very sassy with me because I wanted 2 units of cleaning instead of 4 and no x-rays for my visit. She only cleaned 3/4 of my mouth!!! And then said that the other teeth would have to get done next time because I had "too much buildup". She could have easily spread the cleaning to all of my teeth like they did the first time, but took obvious offense at my bypassing of the systemic charges. She overdid it on the 3/4 of my mouth to prove a point and now I am in pain. Her need to prove a point has lead me to never go back to Wall Centre. Too bad because the dentist was quite lovely during my checkup. read more

This is the best dental office. I moved from my dentist of 12 yrs (also good) because he didn't do direct billing and paying upfront was getting to be inconvenient. So here they do direct billing, the service is incredible and the front line staff extremely helpful and friendly. I needed a lot of work, including gum grafting, Dr Rescovich does incredible work and is very kind. And they have TVs for distraction ( big plus with the grafting) read more

I've never liked going to the dentist like many people out there. I get anxiety, and I've actually never felt like any dental office I've been do was welcoming. Wall Centre Dental changed that all. From their front desk, to the dental assistants and drs, everything was a full 5 stars. I was experiencing really bad tooth pain and turned out that I had to get 2 teeth extracted. I was super nervous, afraid, all the works, but the staff was incredible! The extractions were done by Dr. Roshan and he is absolutely amazing. He helped relax me and calm my fears, and explained and answered any questions I had. The entire procedure was painless, and has given me more confidence for future appointments. I found the dentist Dr Roshan was great. But the other dentists not so much. One filling in for Dr Roshan was rude and dismissive with me. And I heard another dentist actually yelling at a client in the room next to me. Scary. I stopped going to Wall Centre Dental because I got a new dental technician with each visit, even tho I had requested some continuity. If staff are not staying with a firm, there's a reason why staff isn't happy. read more

I have never felt so much like a walking dollar sign in my entire life. This place is the perfect example of the worst kind of dentist you expect. Sure they are 'nice' kind of like the cashier's at McDonalds are nice. I requested a full cleaning and checkup, that's it. They scheduled me two hours, which I thought would be more than enough. Turns out since they were late with their prior appointment for my cleaning portion which was 1 hour of which the other hour was x-rays and what else they thought they could charge me for, I was scheduled to come to have it finished on another time. BIG INCONVENIECE. The best sympathy I received was "sometimes this happens". You've got to be joking. That has never happened to me in my entire life. You go in for a cleaning you leave with fully clean teeth. PERIOD. Now that's not where this horror story ends. I said explicitly on the phone and when I arrived with my plan IN HAND that they are not to bill outside my plan. SO what do they do?? I expect due to having to bring me back I am way over my plans allotted scaling units and am charged for more than double my plan. When I asked about this I am given another big "It happens" and from THE MANAGER no less. Long story short if you like getting ripped off by a shitty dentist and wasting your time coming back again and again and listening to people pretend to be nice to you, this is the place for you. read more
