Staff at Port Moody are polite and professional, due to the clinic's smaller size however you really need to book months ahead for prime hours (I.e after school). The prices are also higher, but still competitive when compared to other Pediatric dentistry offices. A spacious, super friendly, and entertaining place. I can't imagine anything extra to make this place better (may be bumper cars will make it a full fledge fun fair, but hey it's a dentistry). I swear in our days a pizza shop won't have that much of activities and fun! They have little toys dispensers, 5 computer games, a big fish tank etc, small library etc. I know it might sounds ridiculous but it's an ultimate day out for the kids ha ha! (I'm not that horrible, little bit less). The staff were well trained to deal with kids, very educational and have a very well structured bribing system lol. Every few minutes they give your child a sticker, toothbrush etc. So awesome! And here come the dentist (the scary guy) actually not anymore. He was absolutely nice, gentle and positive (not a bully, like most dentists). He communicated with us (the parent) and my daughter with the same information but in a very intelligent manner! I don't remember his name, but this dentist deserve an award of bring useful, funny and cool :) The only reason I would give this centre a 4.5 stars and not 5 is that when the place is busy (after school hours) you can wait for a long while until your turn comes. The office is very clean and new. They use the top technology which allows for your appointment to go very smoothly and efficiently. They first booked me a cleaning with the hygienist in their Coquitlam location, and the hygienist was very pushy, trying to get me to get Invisalign. I had told the girl that I wasn't in a position to pay $500 a month to get something I didn't NEED. They had called me multiple times thereafter to ask about it. But that wasn't the issue. I visited Suterbrook to get some work done on my teeth. What should've been a 1-2 hour max session turned into 5 whole hours. The dentist was moving back and forth between me and other patients. This was NOT ok, especially since it was during COVID times. I got frustrated so I had asked him and the assistant multiple times to see how much longer I would have to wait, and was given an inaccurate estimate.. again. Would not recommend going here and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Great Dentist. I stopped going to the dentist because I required more freezing than normal and…read morealways felt the pain. I believed it was normal until I saw him and he made sure I was good multiple times through. We realized then I required a higher dose of freezing. I have had a root canal, 2 wisdom teeth pulled and all my cleanings and fillings in 12 years with him and he is great. He takes the time to expalain my options and cost of them as I do not have dental coverage. The girls are cheery and it is clear they all get along as the atmosphere is great. I now take my 3 kids there and they are actually excited when they need to see him. I have recommended him to friends who would agree with my review, and I continue to recommend him to anyone looking for a great dentist.
