I must say the Manger does an absolutely fantastic job at keeping saltwater fish. I'm an…read moreexperienced saltwater keeper. I don't say this for most chain businesses but the tanks look amazing. More importantly the saltwater fish look very healthy. I understand that there is algae on the glass due to the lightning for customers to view. But exceptional job!

I had one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had at this Petco grooming salon,…read moreentirely because of the store manager, Alejandra. I brought my dog in for her scheduled grooming appointment. She had a small amount of matting, which I acknowledged from the beginning, and I had absolutely no issue paying the additional dematting fee. My dog is professionally groomed every month, and she had actually been groomed in New York just two weeks earlier. There is simply no scenario in which she went from a normal grooming to being so severely matted that shaving was the only humane option. Instead of assessing her properly or discussing reasonable alternatives, Alejandra immediately insisted that my dog had to be shaved. It felt as though the priority was finishing the appointment as quickly as possible rather than providing the service I had booked and paid for. What made the experience unacceptable was not just the disagreement about grooming. It was the way I was treated. Alejandra told me that I was a bad dog owner and implied that I was hurting my dog. That was incredibly disrespectful, completely unprofessional, and factually inaccurate. My dog is groomed regularly, receives consistent veterinary care, and I specifically brought her in to address the small amount of matting before it became a larger issue. Shaming customers instead of educating them is not acceptable. To make matters worse, after refusing to perform the appointment I had scheduled, she asked me to come back to the store in person to schedule another appointment. She had already wasted approximately 40 minutes of my time, refused to honor my existing appointment, and then expected me to invest even more time because of a problem she had created. I left, booked with another groomer, and they had no issue caring for my dog appropriately without resorting to shaving. A manager sets the standard for customer service. If this interaction reflects the leadership at this location, I would strongly recommend taking your pet elsewhere. Pet owners deserve honesty, professionalism, and respect, not insults and unnecessary ultimatums.

The person answering the phone said they couldn't do that without my coming into the store or calling their customer service. I thanked them and hung up the phone and didn't take any action. An hour later Lindsey, from Pet Food Express Customer Service CALLED ME! Wow! Now, that's beyond any expectations I would have had. I loved that the person at the store level contacted Customer Service on my behalf and that Lindsay then called me. I find placing computer orders a bit overwhelming and so they really took care of getting me the items I needed without my having to work hard to get that accomplished. They have a customer for life!

It was tricky because he was in between sizes on a couple of the brands. she stayed with me the whole time and was patient with my dog and with and in the end, we found a great harness to fit him. Keep him safe and it even looked great! not only did she fit him for a harness she gave me tips on how to make sure it's properly fitted how to keep him safe and even commented on his disposition and how cute he was. be happier about the experience and was very impressed by how out of the way Carrie went to make sure we were taken care of. thank you so much for doing a great job and going above and beyond. I've always loved pet Food express but today's visit was exceptional. Thank you so much!

I adopted my precious fur puppy here! This was my first time adopting after decades of purchasing…read moredogs from breeders (yes, I know, adopt, don't shop). In my particular case, I was looking for a small, hypoallergenic dog, which was difficult to find. After months of checking their adoption page, I finally found the perfect puppy who fits so seamlessly into our family. She is incredibly sweet and transformed almost instantly after coming home with us, from a shy, shivering little pup to an absolute terror in the best way possible! The staff was wonderful, helpful, knowledgeable, and very informative throughout the entire process. I also appreciated how thorough they were, providing all the supplies we needed for the first few days and taking every precaution to ensure a smooth transition. On top of that, the facility was clean, organized, and clearly well cared for. We're so grateful to have found our newest family member here!

They called her Luna but I changed her name because I never want her to be associated with that family ever. All ties must be severed. I still wonder if I should report them to animal control but let's be real, would anything be done? No, because it's rescues such as SPCA, Dancing Cat, and etc. worry about the health and well-being of the animal. An animal is not just an animal but it's a living and breathing thing that ought to be loved and cared for even if they are feral. Dancing Cat got her in here. In a week this sweet, shy, and affectionate girl was adopted. I was so happy and I still say my blessings prayers as I think about her every single day. Staff that checked us in was kind and patient. He allowed me to sit with her to help get her settled. I didn't want to leave her. Through tears as she watched me walk away, I can look back and accept that this was a great move for her. She now has a family all thanks to Dancing Cat and SF SPCA. I'm forever grateful!!!
