Our experience with them was great and they will be our boarding of choice when we need to board our pets. Then I stood and waited with only one person in front of me. Their dog had already been seen...I watched and listened for literally 20 minutes while Jennifer explained how to give nexgard to their dog. Literally a 10 second instruction at best. I really got the impression she was just stalling so she wouldn't have to help anyone else. Seriously, 20 minutes of "give on a full stomach and not on the same day as the h.w. preventative." Mixed in with a lot of irrelevant chit chat, while people waited. Still would have been fine and good, but she stalled so long it was one minute after 3 when those people left and it was my turn. To shorten the story, they turned my dog away because it was after 3 p.m. although I'd been there for 35 minutes watching the incompetence. They told me they'd be with me...not " we actually close at 224 and won't see your dog". The worst.part....the very young girl child vet actually said " I'm not going to see your dog, I've already put in 6 hrs today!" Wow...a whole 6 hrs. Poor child My dog only needed antibiotics, a first year vet tech would have recognized a staff infection. Would have taken 3 minutes tops. They obviously don't care about the animals, just a bunch of lazy clock punching accountants. A.disgrace to the veterinary profession..seriously, if this child vet is already that lazy,non-caring or burned out....how bad will she be after a few years? What a waste of tuition

They're always quick and sometimes even "early". Furthermore, the store is always in tip too shape! Isle are clean, the facility is just CLEAN and shelves are stocked. Lastly, yesterday when I was shopping in the afternoon, I checked out through the express lane and the young lady helping me was so kind to every customer she interacted with and it was just so pleasant to have a cashier or whatever her position is, be personal with each customer! There were 2 people ahead of me that were clearly struggling and were not in the best moods, but this H‑E‑B staff member was so polite and kind to them that they walked away smiling! HEB has always gone above and beyond, I hope this is how they continue to train their staffing. Maybe it was just this one staff member was amazing at how she interacted with people, or maybe it's how this H‑E‑B trains their personnel! Wish I could remember her name!
