Needed Hansgrohe shower cartridge replaced. John (& DJ) tried to get the existing control handle working better, but it was too corroded also; he showed me and I agreed it needed to be replaced. He called and worked with his supplier to find a compatible handle for the cartridge, drove over to pick it up, back, and installed both parts (using my existing trim escutcheon plate). I thought that was a high estimate by about $ 150.00 but we had a leak and the wife wanted it fixed so we said ok. The down spout also needed to be replaced which took him about 15 minutes and it came with the valve kit which was already paid for. The plumber charged us $185.00 for 15 min. of work! I received our water bill on a Friday that showed we had a very large water leak at our home. I did some checking, and the street meter stopped when I turned off the house valve. I was looking for a good plumbing company and called "Walker". It was a Saturday and Dustin said he would send out someone that day. I was very relieved for such a timely response. John arrived within about an hour, researched the problem and set up a meeting on Monday to pinpoint and stop the leak. Come Monday morning the leak was found and resolved. The absolute and only HVAC company I would recommend in the valley. I called them Saturday morning at 9 AM and had a technician at my door at 11 AM and was cooling by noon! Love to start by saying they don't even deserve a one star... My neighbor below me (I live in condos) has been having leaks in her garage every time I take a bath so we called this company in hopes of fixing the problem. Well they didn't and they came out 4 separate times to "fix" the leak that should have been fixed the first time. The plumber stated to me well "shit happens" after I told him about my disappointment with the service we have been getting. He kept coming up with things "it can possibly be". Our shower and tub backed up unexpectedly. Jody from Walker Plumbing identified through a camera that the issue was a 90 degree plastic sleeve that we used when backwashing the pool. The piece fell into the drain and lodged at a pipe angle. Initially, he tried to grab it with the cabling and pull it out. When that wasn't possible, he worked to push it through the angle and into the larger sewer pipes. He put a lot of effort into the job and was successful. Cale is possibly the best plumber/tech we have encountered, and we have dealt with DeMiguel Plumbing, Rainforest Plumbing, Pruitt Plumbing and others. I hope the other reviews referred to other plumbing specialists there because I find it hard to believe that Cale's workmanship is suspect. Anyhow, today he fixed a leaky plumbing by replacing the flapper and an annoying master pressure regulator that was not sized correctly by Renegade Water as installed. Anyhow, all our plumbing issues seemed to be fixed so we can breathe a sigh of relief, and we have only drain cleanout and plumbing maintenance to worry about. My water bill was close to $300 and I have been receiving emails from the city that my water is running constantly. I have not been able to locate the leak so I called Walker to investigate. The walk through was listening for water and looking for wet spots (all which I had already done). I asked about my water softener and the plumber said it's making noise because of the timer. He didn't even look at it. I asked if it could be my pool or my automatic filler. He said the automatic filler was running so it must not be able to shut off because it's clogged. He said he fixed the issue and that should do it (my pool guy came out a week prior and unclogged my filler so I'm doubtful this was the issue). I asked if it was the filler wouldn't my pool be over flowing or if there was a leak where was the water going then? He said I don't know and I guess we'll find out on your next water bill. I then asked him to look at leaks under my sink that were minimal but wanted addressed nonetheless. After looking under the sink he never identified the problem and offered no solutions. In fact he told me "it's not a big deal". I then proceeded to be handed a bill to sign for over $225 for the fix of my auto filler that was "apparently the problem". Guess who is still getting emails from the city? Yeah didn't fix it and didn't even truly investigate, and honestly didn't take my concern's seriously or professionally. There also was no transparency in pricing and received my bill after he "fixed" the issue. I called the office to politely convey my concerns and to ask for help because I still have a leak. Not once did I even ask for my money back. I just need help. The woman was very pleasant but fast forward to next week and I still have not received a call back. I understand that diagnosing an issue can take time and may not always be right first time, but I do not feel an effort was made at all and that I paid for a plumber to drive out and tell me "I guess we will find out on your next bill" and that "it's not a big deal". read more

Setup apt to have this company quote a simple duct install. I already had the duct, reducers, and vents. Tech failed to show up to the first apt. Set another apt which they did show up to. However the tech had to have it explained multiple times what I was needing done, he was clearly not paying any attention and was rude throughout the time I spoke with him. Day or two later, I got the quote back for $1800. I had two other reputable companies quote the exact same job both under $300. My review is not necessarily due to workmanship, as we were happy with the final outcome. My negative review is due to the fact that the company is very quick to call you when you need service, but will not return a phone call when you are unhappy with the original work. We had risers added to our existing septic system last year and the work was done by Walker Plumbing. Last month during a major rain storm the ground around both risers washed away and created a sink hole that caused a landscape rock to slide in to the hole, knock the riser off and fill the septic full of water and mud. Walker plumbing came back out to repair, but charged the full amount of the repair without assuming any responsibility for not compacting the dirt enough last year. All I really expected them to do was call me back, but after two weeks and three phone calls, I still have not received a phone call. Companies need to acknowledge that custom service goes beyond the completion of a job. read more

Owner , Dustin, called at 8 am and said he would be out that day to install my new water heater. I asked him if he would be doing it himself. He said yes. I informed him I would like to be here during installation. Hours went by and I finally got a text at 2pm stating someone is going to my house now. The tech actually was already at my house my babysitter told me. I was very upset. I should have been called BEFORE someone was at my house and a time should have been discussed. I am not just sitting around my house all day waiting for someone to show up with no notice. I informed him I was not home and I specifically told him I wanted to be there. Also, I was upset he sent some other tech after he told me he would be doing it himself. I agreed to let that technician take out the heater and I would be home by the time the other one went in. I arrived at home to find nothing had been done. I had to call him when I got home and asked him why it wasn't removed. He said he sent the tech to another job. I asked him again if this is going to be done today. He said YES! However, 5:00 comes around with no call from Dustin. He text me at 5:00 asking "if I needed it done tonight or can it wait until tomorrow". I text him back and said I really need it tonight. I have been without hot water for 3 days already. I have 4 kids and we all need a shower. Five minutes later I got a phone call from someone else in his company , since he didn't want to tell me himself, saying a technician had a death in the family and could not do it tonight. Really?! 5 minutes late all the sudden their is a death?! He was just hoping I would let him off the hook and tell him he could come tomorrow morning and when I didn't say that he made his buddy call me with a an excuse. What a horrible excuse. At least be honest. I was extremely upset. I called the next day and Dustin was very rude could clearly care less about customer service. I ended up having to find another company to do the work. Luckily the next company was AWESOME! He could have had a customer for life if he could have just been honest and followed through with what he told me he was doing.
