Needed Hansgrohe shower cartridge replaced. John (& DJ) tried to get the existing control handle working better, but it was too corroded also; he showed me and I agreed it needed to be replaced. He called and worked with his supplier to find a compatible handle for the cartridge, drove over to pick it up, back, and installed both parts (using my existing trim escutcheon plate). Now the shower and temperature are much easier to control. read more

Alan G. Plumber said it would cost $ 610.00 to replace the shower control valve which included the price of the valve kit ($89.95) . I thought that was a high estimate by about $ 150.00 but we had a leak and the wife wanted it fixed so we said ok. The down spout also needed to be replaced which took him about 15 minutes and it came with the valve kit which was already paid for. The plumber charged us $185.00 for 15 min. of work! We will NEVER EVER use Walker plumbing again. read more

I was recommended to Walker Plumbing by another very quality and trustworthy company that said they used them. I received our water bill on a Friday that showed we had a very large water leak at our home. I did some checking, and the street meter stopped when I turned off the house valve. I was looking for a good plumbing company and called "Walker". It was a Saturday and Dustin said he would send out someone that day. I was very relieved for such a timely response. John arrived within about an hour, researched the problem and set up a meeting on Monday to pinpoint and stop the leak. Come Monday morning the leak was found and resolved. The cost was very reasonable and now I have a real go to plumbing company. read more

We had a bit of an emergency with another hot water heater. Lived in AZ for 11 years and just went through our 3rd AO Smith hot water heater. Decided it was time to switch over to tankless. I reviewed plumbers and looked at their capabilities. I contacted 4 companies who met my criteria for quotes. Walker Plumbing is Rosie on the House certified, that means a lot to me. I have used several vendors who meet that certification and have never been disappointed. I called and spoke with Gabby who contacted Jody Grafft (the plumbing technician). Jody called me and diagnosed the issue, answered questions for me, and let Gabby know what to quote for my home. I reviewed the quotes and decided to go with Walker and Jodi. After calling Gabby, and setting the appointment, two days later, my system (which was in stock) was installed. Jodi could not have been more professional. He answered my questions, and I had many. He worked quickly, neatly, and with expertise that made me feel comfortable with my decision to go tankless. His piping work was art-like. He walked me through the operation and use of the system and suggested that I set up the yearly service in my calendar. Walker Plumbing and Jodi Grafft specifically are highly recommended by me from now on. read more

The absolute and only HVAC company I would recommend in the valley. I called them Saturday morning at 9 AM and had a technician at my door at 11 AM and was cooling by noon! I have been high grossed by plenty of other HVAC companies in the valley that seem very secretive and do not explain the repairs thoroughly. My technician Adam Went over every aspect of my system in detail. Explained to me the parts that they check. At no point did I ever feel like he was misleading me or trying to sell me something I did not need. Was able to diagnose and fix the problem right away! We are back to cooling! Highly, highly recommend this company. read more

What a great experience from the call to schedule service through to the service being completed. The scheduler, Kelsey, was thorough, courteous and professional. The service techs showed up on time and were quick to diagnose the problem. They were extremely knowledgeable, polite and explained everything. I was pleasantly surprised to know companies like this still existed! I HIGHLY recommend Walker Plumbing & HVAC! read more

Love to start by saying they don't even deserve a one star... My neighbor below me (I live in condos) has been having leaks in her garage every time I take a bath so we called this company in hopes of fixing the problem. Well they didn't and they came out 4 separate times to "fix" the leak that should have been fixed the first time. The plumber stated to me well "shit happens" after I told him about my disappointment with the service we have been getting. He kept coming up with things "it can possibly be". I will be contacting the company in the AM for a full refund of service they didn't know how to provide. Shame on you for sending people that have zero knowledge in plumbing and fixing leaks. Do not call this place if you care to have your problems fixed.. this caused me more of a headache then the leak itself read more

I needed a water heater replaced in my house. I called Walker Plumbing and spoke Gaby. She set up the schedule for a day that worked well for me. Jody showed up and within a few hours he had the old water heater removed and replaced. Walker plumbing is very professional from the scheduling staff to the service technicians. I will not hesitate to call Walker plumbing in the future should a plumbing need arise. I will also recommend Walker plumbing to my friends that need their services. read more

Our shower and tub backed up unexpectedly. Jody from Walker Plumbing identified through a camera that the issue was a 90 degree plastic sleeve that we used when backwashing the pool. The piece fell into the drain and lodged at a pipe angle. Initially, he tried to grab it with the cabling and pull it out. When that wasn't possible, he worked to push it through the angle and into the larger sewer pipes. He put a lot of effort into the job and was successful. We appreciate that Jody was knowledgeable and tenacious, and that he resolved our issue without having to dig up the front yard. We highly recommend Walker Plumbing. read more

Cale is possibly the best plumber/tech we have encountered, and we have dealt with DeMiguel Plumbing, Rainforest Plumbing, Pruitt Plumbing and others. I hope the other reviews referred to other plumbing specialists there because I find it hard to believe that Cale's workmanship is suspect. Anyhow, today he fixed a leaky plumbing by replacing the flapper and an annoying master pressure regulator that was not sized correctly by Renegade Water as installed. Anyhow, all our plumbing issues seemed to be fixed so we can breathe a sigh of relief, and we have only drain cleanout and plumbing maintenance to worry about. These guys help us sleep safe and sound, will definitely call and use their services again. Excellent customer service and workmanship from Cale and I highly recommend him!!! read more

Highly recommend Walker Plumbing . We had a difficult problem which other plumbing professionals were unable to resolve-multiple "opinions/fixes" by others which were unsuccessful .Jody was the plumber assigned to our job. He was on time, professional, knowledgeable and persistent to "get to the bottom" of our issue. As this was a challenging problem, he reached out to colleagues to get other opinions and solved the issue. Fees were reasonable - once again-Jody and Walker plumbing exceeded expectations -would highly recommend-! read more

Our dental office had a water leak and needed service FAST! I spoke with Gaby who was able to get a plumber here within the hour. My water bill was close to $300 and I have been receiving emails from the city that my water is running constantly. I have not been able to locate the leak so I called Walker to investigate. The walk through was listening for water and looking for wet spots (all which I had already done). I asked about my water softener and the plumber said it's making noise because of the timer. He didn't even look at it. I asked if it could be my pool or my automatic filler. He said the automatic filler was running so it must not be able to shut off because it's clogged. He said he fixed the issue and that should do it (my pool guy came out a week prior and unclogged my filler so I'm doubtful this was the issue). I asked if it was the filler wouldn't my pool be over flowing or if there was a leak where was the water going then? He said I don't know and I guess we'll find out on your next water bill. I then asked him to look at leaks under my sink that were minimal but wanted addressed nonetheless. After looking under the sink he never identified the problem and offered no solutions. In fact he told me "it's not a big deal". I then proceeded to be handed a bill to sign for over $225 for the fix of my auto filler that was "apparently the problem". Guess who is still getting emails from the city? Yeah didn't fix it and didn't even truly investigate, and honestly didn't take my concern's seriously or professionally. There also was no transparency in pricing and received my bill after he "fixed" the issue. I called the office to politely convey my concerns and to ask for help because I still have a leak. Not once did I even ask for my money back. I just need help. The woman was very pleasant but fast forward to next week and I still have not received a call back. I understand that diagnosing an issue can take time and may not always be right first time, but I do not feel an effort was made at all and that I paid for a plumber to drive out and tell me "I guess we will find out on your next bill" and that "it's not a big deal". read more

Jody Grafft did a wonderful job finding the water leak in a wall that was shared by my laundry room and pantry. This is the 4th time I've had this company out and every time they are amazing! Well...I had a plumbing emergency this morning...I woke up to a flooded bathroom. Luckily Walker Plumbing came out right away. They fixed the problem and installed two faucets (of course this happened the my bathroom which has a double vanity lol). Edger and Ubaldo were awesome! They worked very hard and efficiently. I truly appreciate the great help! Thank you both! Nice work Walker Plumbing. read more

Setup apt to have this company quote a simple duct install. I already had the duct, reducers, and vents. Tech failed to show up to the first apt. Set another apt which they did show up to. However the tech had to have it explained multiple times what I was needing done, he was clearly not paying any attention and was rude throughout the time I spoke with him. Day or two later, I got the quote back for $1800. I had two other reputable companies quote the exact same job both under $300. Mind you this is just a simple job of hanging a round duct along a wall and installing a couple vents. Total waste of my time read more

Amazing customer service. After I contacted them they showed up at 8 the next morning to get measurements and a list of materials for the job. Already knew I needed a new AC unit and they were able to get me in 3 days later. Day of install they showed up at 8 and job was done at 11:30, even fixed a crack I had on my roof. Their whole crew was very polite and left my house cleaner than when they showed up. Highly recommend to anyone who needs HVAC or plumbing needs. read more

My review is not necessarily due to workmanship, as we were happy with the final outcome. My negative review is due to the fact that the company is very quick to call you when you need service, but will not return a phone call when you are unhappy with the original work. We had risers added to our existing septic system last year and the work was done by Walker Plumbing. Last month during a major rain storm the ground around both risers washed away and created a sink hole that caused a landscape rock to slide in to the hole, knock the riser off and fill the septic full of water and mud. Walker plumbing came back out to repair, but charged the full amount of the repair without assuming any responsibility for not compacting the dirt enough last year. All I really expected them to do was call me back, but after two weeks and three phone calls, I still have not received a phone call. Companies need to acknowledge that custom service goes beyond the completion of a job. read more

It is rare that I submit reviews, for life is always super busy and there is never enough time it the day to take time out and actually write one. However, my experience today with Walker Plumbing was so exceptional, I simply had to sit down to write this. My gas direct vent hot water had been extremely resilient - lasting nearly 17 years - but it was finally time to be replaced. Long story short, I decided to replace my failing unit with a tankless water heater for overall product quality, a superior warranty, product life, energy efficiency, and overall environmental sustainability. Not knowing who to call, I first reached out to numerous contractors that I researched online. Thank goodness a friend reached out and suggested Walker Plumbing. My only regret is that I did not start my search with them, as I would have saved a good 10 hours researching and finding the right company for the job. I obviously ended up choosing Walker Plumbing and it was by far the best decision. They were super responsive, extremely reliable, professional, and reasonably priced. For the purchase and installation of the exact same unit, other companies were quoting higher prices, some almost twice the price; and many were not nearly as professional as the team at Walker Plumbing. If you have a plumbing job that needs to be done, trust me and make Walker Plumbing your very first call; you will save so much time in your search for a reliable, honest, professional service organization that will provide quality work and will not rip you off. Today, they most definitely gained a customer for life and I will be referring family, friends, and coworkers alike to Walker Plumbing! read more

Walker Plumbing & HVAC - new tankless water heater installed. Thrilled with the job and reasonably priced. Thank you!. - Plumbing Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Owner , Dustin, called at 8 am and said he would be out that day to install my new water heater. I asked him if he would be doing it himself. He said yes. I informed him I would like to be here during installation. Hours went by and I finally got a text at 2pm stating someone is going to my house now. The tech actually was already at my house my babysitter told me. I was very upset. I should have been called BEFORE someone was at my house and a time should have been discussed. I am not just sitting around my house all day waiting for someone to show up with no notice. I informed him I was not home and I specifically told him I wanted to be there. Also, I was upset he sent some other tech after he told me he would be doing it himself. I agreed to let that technician take out the heater and I would be home by the time the other one went in. I arrived at home to find nothing had been done. I had to call him when I got home and asked him why it wasn't removed. He said he sent the tech to another job. I asked him again if this is going to be done today. He said YES! However, 5:00 comes around with no call from Dustin. He text me at 5:00 asking "if I needed it done tonight or can it wait until tomorrow". I text him back and said I really need it tonight. I have been without hot water for 3 days already. I have 4 kids and we all need a shower. Five minutes later I got a phone call from someone else in his company , since he didn't want to tell me himself, saying a technician had a death in the family and could not do it tonight. Really?! 5 minutes late all the sudden their is a death?! He was just hoping I would let him off the hook and tell him he could come tomorrow morning and when I didn't say that he made his buddy call me with a an excuse. What a horrible excuse. At least be honest. I was extremely upset. I called the next day and Dustin was very rude could clearly care less about customer service. I ended up having to find another company to do the work. Luckily the next company was AWESOME! He could have had a customer for life if he could have just been honest and followed through with what he told me he was doing. He has now not only lost my business but he has lost my grandma's as well (who was a previous customer). We will be taking all our business to the new company I found. read more
