Very happy with our purchase. Walker Floors was recommended to us though our parents who they've done fabulous work for in the past. They don't dissapoint. Rick & Beth are easy to work with. Rick came out and measured, provided a quote and answered a few quetions along the way. He and his wife, Beth were able to advise us on what flooring would best meet the needs of our family. The installers were friendly and professional and got the job done in two days (Living Room / Dining Room). They offer financing, which was nice - things were smooth every step of the way. Hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We had our floors done by Walker Floors a few years back. We chose them because they were close friends to a family member of ours. Little did we know what we were getting was going to be an absolute nightmare. We went with their recommendation on one of the best floorings that they had at the time due to the amazing warranty in which it carried and its life expectancy. On January 24th 2021 reached out to Rick and Beth because we noticed a small indentation in our flooring after a get-together that we had. We informed them of the damage to the floor from what appeared to be maybe a can or some sort of kitchenware that must have dropped and indented the floor which the floor is not supposed to Dent. After 3 weeks of no response from Rick or Beth and excuse after excuse of a broken phone and emails not working, it wasn't until our dogs became infatuated with the dent in our floor and then caused that to be a much larger hole by chewing it because of the reflection of the tape that we put over the dent so it would not get any worse. Fast forward it is now April 6th and this has still not been resolved and after many emails and phone calls with no response I spoke with Rick today and his response was because it was damaged by the dogs you have no warranty. I was very upset and told Rick how mad I was and did not use kind words. His response was to swear back at me and hang up. We have all the documentation and the emails showing what the damage was prior to their lack of follow-up became further damage by our dogs because they never addressed the damage that initially happened prior. I would also like to note that we were up sold on this product and specifically chose it because in the event that there were ever to be damage to the floor the section could be cut out and repaired. Well that also turned out to not be true after their Tech came out AND attempted to see if it could be repaired we have been told that the repair is not able to be done because it's pulling the back and the type of glue that they used is not the real glue that they typically would. They're installer Jimmy came out on Wednesday of last week to take a look at this and his response was we cannot do the repairs but we had spoken to the rep and the rep said that if the repair cannot be made they will replace the entire floor. that was on Wednesday. After calling and following up with Walker flooring After Jimmy left and no response it wasn't until today that Rick finally answered and then denied that there will be any coverage and that Jimmy should have never told me what he did even though Jimmy was only being honest. We like Jimmy a lot and his work is very good. But unfortunately that does not make up for the shadyness of Rick and Beth. The initial damage was never caused by the dogs and we have this proof with photos. Instead Beth and Rick are claiming the dogs caused the damage and we have no warranty even though the damage with the proof that we have is clearly not dog damage it was not dog damage until 4 weeks after the initial damage because they refused to send out a rep or address the issues. My guess is their never was a warranty and they don't want to deal with us since we are no longer a new paying customer.. We are so upset we spent our hard earned money and invested our trust with Walker Flooring to have to deal with this after just 4 years. This was supposed to be a 20 year warranty. Do yourself a favor, if you're thinking of using Walker flooring, DON'T. Just keep on walking. read more
