Walgreens is another store where you can find any and everything, from candy to make-up. As you can see they are starting to close some of the stores in some neighborhoods. I don't know where people going to go for toilet paper, vitamins, odds and ends when needed. First, it was the the Rite Aids, then CVS and finally the coming for Walgreens. Seriously HATE going to this Walgreens but I have no choice now since they closed down the rite-aid on south Broadway. Went today to buy deodorant and had to press the help button since everything is locked up. 10 minutes waiting and not one person came to assist. Mind you they are walking up and down the aisle so I just left. If someone did help after who knows how LONG waiting, it would've been another 10 mins waiting on line since there's always one person working the register. TRASH WALGREENS. Next time I'm just going to drive to the cvs that's 2 miles away instead of wasting my time at this location. Wish I could leave no stars. read more

Worst place. I will stop buying from walgreens. They're product had a defect and I returned for an exchange and they wanted to charge me more. This is not what the original Walgreen family wanted. After visiting a buddy in Yonkers made a quick stop at the local Walgreens and I notice that anytime i ask a pharmacy tech or pharmacist a question about over the counter/ non scribe items I never get a straight simple answer and maybe its having one of the nation's best pharmacist as a long time close family friend I may be expecting too much. No problem as I picked up a really good rubbing ointment for my left knee(old football injury or I think I banged my knee on a metal cabinet ). Basic typical Walgreens on McLean Ave in Yonkers and its hot outside on a Sunday early afternoon so maybe I will grab a few snacks and other goodies while enjoying the full blast air conditioner on high. read more

This used to be my go-to pharmacy for years...but I have sadly observed its pharmacy services decline in recent years. The pharmacy seems to be closed more often than it is open!! I needed a medication refilled today, (Saturday) and guess what.....not only is it closed today, but it is closed tomorrow as well!! Could I give ZERO stars? or NEGATIVE stars??? My husband and I made appointments for the new Covid vaccine today, got our appts confirmed, filled out a bunch of form online, drove up there in rush hour traffic (30 minutes plus tolls), checked in for our appointments, sat around for an hour among many, potentially sick, people (that's who goes pharmacies), then were called up to fill out more paper forms duplicating all the stuff we had already submitted online, all while they were holding our ID's and vaccination records ---- then, when we were about to be called (we hoped), the pharmacist comes out and says, "sorry guys, I have some bad news for you, but we ran out of the vaccine". WHAT??? W-F? Aren't pharmacists suposed to have a license to practice??? This is MALPRACTICE !! read more

I called the day before going to Walgreens to see if there were Shingle vaccines. The employee at the other end said yes, plenty. I'm due for the second shot. When I get there (on Access-A-Ride), the pharmacist told me they don't have any in stock. They apparently have poor management skills. I received the first shot there and I received a letter to get the second shot. But knowing 2 previous incidences like tho one. I called. When I get there they had NONE. The pharmacist directed me to go to the Walgreens at Nepperhan, because they had it. So I went. I could have gone home without the shot, but a snowstorm was approaching. I took a cab to the store and paid $15, my return home was $20. That is $35 more on top of the price of the vaccine. They have very poor service here get your drugs by mail or elsewhere. read more

The Walgreens is good has lots of products but the SERVICE IS HORRIBLE every time I go they having a problem with a customer , line super long and best of all only one cashier while you can see the other employee from the cashier ignoring the facts instead of coming and shorting the line . read more

This has to be the worst experience I've ever had as a customer anywhere. I dropped off 4 rolls of 35mm film to be developed 1 month ago and was told it would be ready in 2 weeks. Now I have already made a trip once because I was told it was ready to be picked up...wrong...apparently they mixed me up with someone else so wasted trip...now today being exactly 1 month I called Walgreens because they stated they dont call customers when your order is ready. I spoke with Nyisha and she said "oh yes your order is ready" I replied I'm on my way. I get there and waited 10 minutes with no help. Finally after 3 calls over the loud speaker a Veronica" Supposed Manager" looked and only found 1 order. She then just walked away and I stood there like a a$$hole not knowing what to do...basically Nyisha finally showed up and was no help. When asked if I can speak to a manager she replied "for what" in a nasty tone. Veronica finally came back and at this point I'm furious. She called Fuji and I was told the rest of the film would be ready in 2 weeks because they received it a week ago...mind you I dropped it off a month ago...as I hang up the phone both employees are gone. I can keep going but...Walgreens please stop hiring these young kids with attitudes who care more on a message they recieved on their phone rather than a paying customer with...believe me extreme patience...Nyisha and Veronica a.k.a Manager you 2 are possibly the worst employees an employer can have. This is my go to pharmacy! I come here all the time, from needing to pick up medication to just coming by to pick up a quick snack. Good evening, This evening while shopping in Walgreens on Maclay and South Broadway when a store associate told a child he no longer had any candy. I don't understand how such a large organization/company is allowed to even say we don't have any more candy because it cost money. In my opinion Walgreens makes enough money daily/ yearly to open a couple more bags of candy for children to safely go trick or treating. It is a suggestion that in the future there possibly be a cut off time to no longer hand out candy, but really before 8 o'clock? I am disappointed in Walgreens. read more

The worst service I have ever encountered! The pharmacist fails to call the patient to tell them that the insurance doesn't cover a certain medication and fails to call the doctor! Daniella at the counter is as clueless as the pharmacist smh! Go to a real pharmacy this place is a joke! Then on top of all that 2:30 hrs and ur meds are still not ready!!!!
