I always have such a great experiences here at this particular Walgreens thx to the awesome pharmacists: CJ & Katie are incredibly professional and always make me feel valued and take care of me with a smile consistently‼ I enjoy coming here because of the work ethic in this store in particular. The store itself is fine, but their pharmacy department is atrocious. I understand employees are due at lunchtime, but there's no reason why something like them, as understaffed as they are, needs to take a lunch at the same time. How come when a doctor calls an order is not ready four hours later? I think I'm going back to Jewel-Osco. These people are terrible. read more

I don't come here often, usually for photos. I order my photos from the app, and they are usually done quickly. However, it's usually some time before an associate comes to help at the photo counter. Sometimes, those associates are friendly, and sometimes they are not. Prices for other items are higher than other stores in the area. If buying other items (non photo), the front register usually moves quickly. read more

My company mandated the vaccine so i was having a hard time getting in as a walk in for my first dose. The Walgreens on Ogden and Main (Downers grove- down the street from me) had a very rude pharmacist. Scolded me when i asked about walking in. I called this pharmacy in westmont and spoke to Annie who was so nice and understanding. She made an already stressful Situation much easier and i greatly appreciated it! I got there and they helped me and Annie actually gave me my shot. She's great! read more

The people working in the pharmacy at this Walgreens do not understand basic information. My husband goes to pick up my filled 90 days supply rx today. It's been in their bin for a week and she somehow reversed it bills our new insurance for only 30 days and he has to leave empty handed because she reversed it when it was literally there already. She completely misunderstood what he was trying to do. Previously, they have lost my filled rx and I had to come back at another time. Another time I was told that I can only fill my maintenance med on the 1st of the month which makes no sense as I have worked in prescription insurance and that's just made up crap. I have to tell them how to do their jobs and it is not worth my time. I will not be using this Walgreens any longer. read more

Best experience ever with Kimi! She was very helpful, accommodating and simple amazing!! I needed 3 COViD testing appointments to be set up last minute for my employees and she made it happen within the hour!! She was very fast and efficient! To say this is the WORST pharmacy is a understatement. They have an excuse for everything either they don't have the medicine or they don't have it ready it doesn't matter. They're incompetent they never can take care of it you have to call your doctor to have him call them. Also they can ONLY take care of one person at a time even when the prescription isn't ready they can't take care of the next person they stand there waiting. By far the worst pharmacy I've ever had to deal with. I used to go to CVS and the only reason why I switched is because CVS doesn't take my new insurance. Every time I get a prescription refill from my doctor they always try and give me a generic BC brand when I know they have what my doctor actually prescribes me. I don't understand why they can't follow a simple prescription. On top of which when I tell them they need to give me the correct brand I then have to wait another 24-48 hours ... very frustrating. If I didn't already pay enough for insurance I would just go back to CVS and pay out of pocket. read more

And don't even bother trying to call and talk to someone, they put me on hold for over 20 mins and another 5 mins to speak to their manager. Let's talk about how useless this pharmacy is. I forgot why I stopped going to Walgreens. It took me two weeks to get my time sensitive medication from here because the pharmacy technicians are the worst. They don't know how to answer any questions and when I asked why it was covered or why the price changed their answer is "um I don't know but this is the price now". I explained to them its not because I was just here last week to pick it up and 3 different people told me 3 different prices and what the tech on the phone told me didn't even match what it said online in my account. Called my insurance and they weren't even processing it because my insurance didn't have anything come through to see what was going on with pricing. On top of that, they are the rudest people, they act like they are doing you a favor. I'm so happy these bright friendly people are handling such important things such as peoples medication FOR THEIR HEALTH. Had I not called NUMEROUS times or been diligent about it then I wouldn't have been able to get this medication I need. Basically the techs don't know how to properly process your insurance claims. They could be charging you and taking money from you that's not even correct like they tried to do to me. One tech tried to charge me $50 one tried to charge me $15 the other $25 then they transferred me to somehow within Walgreens that "specializes" in insurance and long and behold it was 100% covered. Same manufacturer, dosage, and quantity. I'm going to double check if Costco takes my insurance the next time I'm in. AVOID THIS PHARMACY! read more

I was at the minute clinic there on my lunch hour (the only time I was able to go see someone regarding being sick). Filled out my info on the kiosk. Saw a nurse practitioner. She was clueless. She heard me talk about ear pain (as part of a larger problem) and then stuck to that being my "chief complaint". She looked up my prescriptions and said "oh my, you have a lot of prescriptions! Are you seeing a specialist?" I explained to her I WORK for a living and I can't take time off and it was most likely the beginning of a ear infection/sinus infection. She said she didn't feel "comfortable" helping me and I need to make an appointment with my actual doctor. Wow, gee, thanks. I'm really glad I wasted my lunch hour. I don't even know how much they charged me to tell me that! Outrageous! Will NEVER use a minute clinic again. read more

Had to go back multiple times while extremely ill for them to get my prescriptions filled correctly. First pharmacist didn't communicate there was an issue with filling MULTIPLE prescriptions that are integral to my recovery. I had to come back to speak to an alternate pharmacist, who then explained and carried out the proper steps within 5 minutes to get me what I needed. Cursory job. Pretty surprised. read more

This location managed to take a coupon and INCREASE the price instead of lower the price by the coupon amount. Here's an idea, CHARGE ONE PRICE ! I've been shopping at this Walgreens for the last five years and have never encountered the experience that I had today with a cashier by the name of Linda G. Mainly in the mornings o come with my children to quickly grab allergy meds in an interim until.i can get a prescription. Well, I usually grab what's ever on sale which is typically the Walgreens brand so today I saw in front of the 150 count price point 21.99 with card minus $1 total price 2099 taking it up to the register the lady scans it I put in my card and then she tells me that my total is 3699 so I tell her well the sign said that it was 2099 with the card she flips out the little coupon book and takes forever to look up the allergy section so finally I told her I'm just going to go ahead and get something cheaper or smaller count and go to Walgreens and buy my kids pill so before I can even walk away from the register she finally goes I can always just call a manager so I said you know what no so I go back there to find the pills only to find out that all of the labels are incorrect so finally I sent my child to go grab them at the manager we grab the manager I explain the manager my situation I also told him that your prices are incorrectly labeled on all of your allergy meds so he acknowledged it so I finally got Zyrtec which was on sale take it to the register the manager follow right behind me as I'm at the register Linda decides that she wants to argue with me and very persistent and telling me that I grabbed the wrong pills and the wrong account so I asked her politely I said ma'am I did not your labels are incorrect I grab them based off the labels and she holds the magazine in her hand she goes to know you grab the wrong pill I said Linda I did not can you stop very persistent in trying to tell me that I did something wrong when I went based off of the labels that were before me all the while we were in front of another customer so the manager finally behind me grab some pills that I had that we picked out together and rang them up and then told me that there was another coupon in the back for the thing I never wanted the pills that I originally had in my hand for the price point that's not what I was asking which I guess is what she thought I was what I needed to know was what pills that you had on sale but the mere fact that she decided that she wanted to argue with me and tell me that I was incorrect in front of a customer shows me that she lacks the knowledge of what a true customer service representative is I'm deeply appalled at this situation typically I only go in to Walgreens When Ross is there because when Ross is there he gives excellent customer service and he knows how to make a customer feel wanted and welcome in that place from this standpoint I don't know if I can go to this Walgreens again I don't know if I can encounter another situation with Linda G she does not know her job she does not know her product again I think another Walgreens even though this one is around the corner with me it's the best bet for me to be unfortunately Walgreens on 63rd located in Westmont you have lost a customer just because of this one situation and this one cashier read more
