This Ulta is the closest to me, but I usually prefer the Oak Brook location. 1. There tends to be a Willowbrook police officer in parking lot. So, not sure if this location has a lot of retail theft or what. 2. Inside the lights just feel very dark. When trying to pick out makeup shades, that is just not very helpful. 3. Lack of help on sales floor to locate items. 4. Cashiers are quick, but need to remind them when you want to redeem points. If you know what you are searching for, and can make it an in and out trip, this location is fine. If you require some assistance, I recommend a different Ulta location. read more

Have no idea how this place has such low ratings. Workers here are friendly and knowledgeable. I love makeup so I'm here often ! I also buy the hair color depositing shampoo and this is literally the only location that has my color. Otherwise I have to order it online but when I want things I want it fast !! I'll start off by saying the Mac lady and cashier were incredibly nice. However, management clearly has a racial profiling problem. I take forever to shop because I'm looking at reviews for products before I purchase them. There's also no POC working there for me to ask advice on hair care products (hence my searching for videos on TikTok and YouTube). All of that to say, I walked out after making my purchase to the police sitting in the corner of the parking lot...Scrolled on my phone for 10 minutes, then pulled off just to have the police leaving right behind me. I will never, ever come back to this location... I don't even know if I'll come back to Ulta at all. And as I type this, the police are circling after I just returned my product (because why should I spend my money here). I'm done. read more

First and foremost, it's important to note, this is the same Ulta that I use to go to in Downers Grove. With that being said, they still have amazing customer service as well as phenomenal inventory availability, especially compared to the other Ulta in the area. I will continue to go to this Ulta even though it's further from me than the one near my home. This store is so much better and I'm just extremely grateful they moved closer to me because now I can be sure I'll get amazing customer service as well as great product availability. I appreciate the store manager and who ever is in charge of this store for maintaining such a great store and staff! I went to Ulta today. I should have brought a lunch. I was third in the checkout line. There was one cashier. After 20 minutes of standing in line while said cashier waited on one customer, I left. During this time, the "manager" came to assist the one cashier helping the one customer, but apparently couldn't assist the growing line by opening a new register. I'm not returning to this location even though it's 2 miles from my house. I'll drive out of my way to the Bolingbrook location where customer service is valued. read more

I have had nothing but horrible experiences. The attitude from these ladies and men who work there is unacceptable and plain old rude. The laziness and nasty customer service is ridiculous. I went in to ask for a product that I did not see on the floor, but was shown online and available at that location. I asked one of the ladies where they might be and after a few minutes she informed they were out of stock. I placed an online pickup in my car and it was ready within the 2 hour frame. For some reason it double ordered the product I wanted so I had to return the extra one that was ordered and the lady at the counter fought with me on providing a receipt. She said the online order I had was not acceptable and she wouldn't even look in my account that i'd have to come back within 24 hours, how inconvenient & no help was given after the fact. read more

I always have a good experience getting my haircut and colored at this location. Lucy is my favorite :-) however lately I've been seeing that the bathroom is in sad shape, pretty dirty floor and no soap left at the bottom of the container and toilet paper just laying on top of the slot. I know there's a new manager so maybe she needs to really look back at the restrooms. Plus I'm not a fan of a cashier calling me sweetie or sweetheart. I scheduled a last minute appointment in the salon for a haircut. I have regularly gone to Ulta in Hodgkins and Oak Brook, but I really needed a cut. I was so impressed by the quality of service and cut that I received. My stylist listened intently to what I was looking for in a cut and style, and she checked in throughout the cut to ensure I was happy with the progress. At the end of the service, she both recommended and helped me locate products for my hair and a new brush. I would highly recommend the salon. read more

I like this Ulta because it's one of the bigger, newer ones and usually has what I'm looking for. Has a MAC section inside. But it's somehow always crowded and cramped. They've stuffed so many aisles in there. Also smells super strongly of perfume inside, so would avoid if you are sensitive. Staff is typically kind. read more

I have visited many Ulta Beauty stores and I feel this new store is lacking knowledgeable employees. I was interested in getting a foundation, I love Juice Beauty but always like to try new things, I am just over 60 so it's important to me to buy the products that benefit aging skin. I was hoping for some suggestions or guidance but instead I got a huffy employee that pretty much said, well if you don't know what you want I don't know. After only 10 minutes it was clear to me she wanted nothing more to do with me, showed me to one section of foundation and walked away. It has been my experience in the past, specifically at Ulta in Bolingbrook, that a Good employee will try and be helpful and make suggestions. Poor customer service at the Mac counter! No Mac representative available so I left and shopped at a nearby store. Came back and the Mac representative is now busy with a makeover. She didn't want to acknowledge me and stop what she was doing.All I needed was a lipstick and I wanted to at least have the opportunity to try it on. She would not stop the makeover, Which typically happens if they get a customer - I know this because I've been in a Mac makeover and they stop if they can quickly assist another customer. When she saw that I was annoyed she did attempt to radio for assistance but no one came was happening so I left. Better step it up Willowbrook! read more

Went to get my hair done by Jill and it was great! She fixed my highlights I had done and did a beautiful balayage which was what I wanted in the first place! the final product was wonderful and I'm definitely going back to see her when I want something new! I went to Ulta in WILLOWBROOK usually go to Hodgkins but this was closer and it was new, we always get excited about new stores. Staff was very helpful , spent 400.00. Then I got home and two items were missing from my bag and my receipt as well. It was two different hair fancy accessories. It was two flat cards the barrettes were on about the size of your palm. So I called immediately and they looked up my account. Asked for the manager. She said I'll call you back and I'll look if you were charged for the items and check the camera if it was put in your bag. They wrote my number down wrong so three hours later I thought I should call. To only find out that the manager said it shows the cashier putting the items in the bag. I asked is it possible that she missed the bag and it didn't go in. She said no. She put them in. I repeated but I didn't go anywhere, the bag was in my daughters hand the whole time live minutes away came in my house items were not there. She said no she put them in. I said so I'm out the item and money. Yep! That's it. My loss. Never go there again. God at least a gift card or something. Really? Horrible. read more
