I have also had a very good experience with the Limelight Med Spa. The only reasons that I cannot give this facility a 5 star rating is because of the rest of the staff. They were very courteous, but there seems to be a lack of communication behind the scenes. For example, they appear to overbook the doctors in the morning which causes delays (example given: my pre-op appointment was at 9am which I was on time for, but sat in the waiting from until almost 9:45). To avoid this I would suggest spacing out appointments (schedule patients in 15min increments: 9, 9:15, 9:30...). The other reason that I will not give a 5 star rating is because of the confusion with my medication. When leaving my pre-op appointment, I was given a box of sincinecch and a written prescription with only one medication on it. I asked where I could go to fill the prescription and whether of not that written prescription had everything on it. At the time, I was told that I had everything I'd need and could go to any pharmacy to pick it up. I made sure the fill the written prescription prior to the surgery. When the operation was finished, I was in excruciating pain and was informed my the nurse that I was supposed to have two other medications which were not on the written prescription. I later received a voicemail from Peggy saying that she had already ordered the other two prescriptions directly with a Walgreens on August 11th. I was extremely frustrated that I wasn't informed that there were another two prescriptions waiting for me, or even told which Walgreens that the medication was sent to (there's a different Walgreens every two miles from each other, and it took almost an hour for us to find the right one). Please fix the communication problem so that no other patient needs to be in constant pain while playing phone tag the the office and different pharmacies.

The injections were rough, I had significant swelling and bruising around my lips, and I was given no aftercare instructions. My lips went back to their original size within a month. When I called, I was told I needed a second syringe and that this had supposedly been discussed during my visit. I went back, and instead of addressing why the filler didn't last, she tried to sell me a third syringe, commenting that my smile was "very wide." Once again, the results faded within a month. In February 2026, I went to a different injector (BRN, RN). She was thorough, gentle, and professional. She couldn't even feel any prior filler in my lips. I received one syringe, had no bruising, minimal swelling, and loved the results. The difference in skill and professionalism was night and day. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this provider.

Dr. Kovak agreed to send in Rx to Walgreens. Upon leaving appointment, Sandy Kovak told me there was a $100 Fee for Writing a Prescription. Then she told me it was a Consultation Fee which contradicted what I was told when making the appointment (Office Visit). This was never disclosed nor stated when I inquired about the costs when making the appointment nor during the exam. It is unusual and improper for a doctor's office to charge a separate $100 prescription fee on top of an office visit charge, especially if it was not disclosed upfront. A prescription is generally considered part of the treatment included in the cost of the office visit. I have asked for this charge to be reversed and to have Dr. Kovak return my call.

Prior to booking surgery I had another consultation at another office which quoted me a much lower price but I felt as though the office was more interested in getting money than about your well-being. They had several facilities so I wouldn't know exactly where I would be having surgery until it was scheduled. I decided to go with Dr. Franco and I am so glad I did. I had some apprehension about the procedure and she was very accommodating and comforting. Turns out it really was virtually painless! While in her office she addressed some of my other concerns and even brought up something that I hadn't noticed but nevertheless was very important so I ll need to follow up with at my GP. While that wasn't information that I wanted to hear, it goes to show that she cares about the overall well being of her patients.
