First off, I would like to say that both Dr. Burt and Dr. Will are extremely professional and that both have phenomenal portfolios showing their work. I have also had a very good experience with the Limelight Med Spa. The only reasons that I cannot give this facility a 5 star rating is because of the rest of the staff. They were very courteous, but there seems to be a lack of communication behind the scenes. For example, they appear to overbook the doctors in the morning which causes delays (example given: my pre-op appointment was at 9am which I was on time for, but sat in the waiting from until almost 9:45). To avoid this I would suggest spacing out appointments (schedule patients in 15min increments: 9, 9:15, 9:30...). The other reason that I will not give a 5 star rating is because of the confusion with my medication. When leaving my pre-op appointment, I was given a box of sincinecch and a written prescription with only one medication on it. I asked where I could go to fill the prescription and whether of not that written prescription had everything on it. At the time, I was told that I had everything I'd need and could go to any pharmacy to pick it up. I made sure the fill the written prescription prior to the surgery. When the operation was finished, I was in excruciating pain and was informed my the nurse that I was supposed to have two other medications which were not on the written prescription. I later received a voicemail from Peggy saying that she had already ordered the other two prescriptions directly with a Walgreens on August 11th. I was extremely frustrated that I wasn't informed that there were another two prescriptions waiting for me, or even told which Walgreens that the medication was sent to (there's a different Walgreens every two miles from each other, and it took almost an hour for us to find the right one). Please fix the communication problem so that no other patient needs to be in constant pain while playing phone tag the the office and different pharmacies. read more

Picking Dr Will as my surgeon for my upper bleph was the worst decision I could've made. My eyelids now look swollen and wrinkled. The crease was carelessly sown together and is now jagged. Too much fat was removed, which i didn't even ask for, and it creates an unattractive shape. My eyes are now very noticeably uneven. One is open too much and the other is pulled down and looks like I'm squinting. I will now have to find a surgeon for a revision, essentially paying double for this procedure. Dr. Burt was a wonderful surgeon and I'm very happy with my augmentation results. Going into the surgery I was 7 months postpartum and lost more weight than I had gain during my pregnancy. I was an average size B cup before baby. Post baby I was closer to an A but with coning shape. Dr. Burt listed to my goals and focus for my new breast sizes. After surgery I needed help(to limit myself not because of pain) for 2 days post surgery. I stopped Tylenol after 3 days and occasionally take if it was a more active day. First, her staff is not friendly as advertised. They never faxed the checklist for my Dr for what was needed. I called for assistance so many times my Dr's office felt bad. They called, gave the fax numbers for both offices and they still never received it. I faxed it they received it immediately. I paid 25 thousand cash right away and was ready to go. The week of the holiday Dr. Burts office says I cannot have my surgery due to protein levels and that anesthesia has been trying to call. However not one missed call from them. Stay away from Burt Plastic Surgery! In my consult, I expressed to Dr. Burt my desire to have a flat stomach and the fat on my love handles gone and that money was not an issue - just needed results. She was wonderful in the consultation. She told me that a tummy tuck and lipo of the flanks would be the best option for me and my body type. I also spoke with her about getting lipo in a few other areas as well - my bra rolls, chin, and arms. She answered all of my questions and spent a lot of time with me going over any concerns I had. I booked her. In total, I paid over $19,000 (all of which is due up front except the anesthesiologist fees) for this surgery. It was all downhill from there. The day of the surgery: I was the first patient getting surgery that day. It was surgery time and she was nowhere to be found. She was 40 minutes late! My surgery was supposed to begin at 7:30am. I walked into the OR at 8:10 am. My surgery lasted only 2- 2.5 hours for a tummy tuck and lipo of my flanks, chin/neck, both upper arms, and bra rolls! She completely rushed it to get herself back on time for her next patients. And it showed in the results. At the 2 week post op appointment I still didn't see ANY results from the lipo areas. When I expressed those concerns, and asked how we can fix the dog ears on my hips, the nurse and DR. Burt, both insisted it was only swelling and that it was definitely not dog ears. They told me to continue with my massages and compression and to come back in six weeks. Over the next six weeks I did everything I could to maximize my results. I drove an hour away to get a profession lymphatic massage every Saturday while I continued them daily from home. I wore my compressions 24/7. I even purchased another set at $125 so I didn't have to be without the compressions while laundering the first set. I purchased their scar cream for $50-60. I did everything I possibly could. At my 8 week post op appt, the nurse called me back to the room and asked me how things were going. I expressed the same concerns I expressed 6 weeks earlier. Without even looking at the areas (I was still 100% fully dressed), she told me I was still swollen with an annoyed tone. I told her this was different. I told her how I see the swelling going up and down in my tummy area. That was swelling, yes. But the flank area was not swollen. She said she'd have dr. Burt take a look. Dr. Burt comes in (in a rush) and says in a snotty tone, "So you're still swollen." After looking at me though she could see I wasn't swollen. Maybe then she remembered that she cut my surgery short and that's why I didn't see the results I paid for. Instead of admitting her mistake, she told me I would need to pay for another tummy tuck! She said if I wanted the fat removed from my hips I should have gotten an extended tummy tuck or I need to lose weight "the real way." WAIT WHAT?!??? I told her what I wanted in my consult and she told me it would be taken care of with the lipo of the flanks. Now she's going to try to charge me again to correct what she didn't do in the first place?? And I need to lose weight?? Funny that wasn't mentioned in the consult before I paid $19,000. After making that bold remark, she offered to correct the "dog ears" she left (the ones she swore weren't dog ears weeks before) by just cutting the excess skin off my hips where it comes to a point after her botched job. But that doesn't take away any of the fat, it only removes the excess skin she left, which makes my hips stick out to a point instead of being a curve. But fixing the dog ears is pointless if I have to get another surgery because she didn't do the lipo she was supposed to do there. Next she "addressed" my concerns about my chin lipo by saying I'm still swollen and that she would have her esthetician give me one free service. She didn't say what that service was, just said it would help tighten my skin in that area. And then she hurriedly left the room saying her esthetician would be in soon. She was in such a rush to get out of that 8 wk post op appt, she didn't even bother to check over the other areas she supposedly did lipo on. It's my 8 week post op and she didn't even ask to see how I was progressing with the lipo on my arms and bra roll. She didn't care about my results. After the esthetician did the firming procedure on my chin area, she tried to sell me the firming serum - $250! I just paid $3,000 for chin lipo and now I need to spend another $250?!?! Once she has your money, you're screwed with Dr. Burt. Don't expect her to take accountability for her work. You can expect to pay more money. I wanted to get a eyelid reduction. Instead, Dr. Will felt a eyebrow lift would be better. So I figured she was the expert, I said ok. First, I'd rather have my arm ripped off by a Great White then to go through that again! She was working on one eye and my god, was wondering if she used an anesthetic. I kept telling her and she paid no attention and kept working on it. After she was done with the first eye, she put more anesthetic in the second one. She injected a little Botx that helped slightly but it still droops My neck, even though I had started having turkey neck was at least natural looking. I had breast implants and rhinoplasty in March of 2020. Everything seemed fine at first, until about 3 months post op when I could clearly tell that my left implant was not put in properly. Dr Burt kept assuring me that it was normal and would heal. Fast forward to my year visit when she stated I was fully recovered. Please, stay away from these sharks. I went in for what was supposed to be a 45 dollar consult and ended up paying over 165. The front office staff told me They required my insurance to have on file "in case" it covered my surgery should I want to go through with it. I saw Dr Burt. Firstly, she completely rushed through my consult basically just told me what she thought i needed done. She was in the room maybe 3 minutes. Circumferential tummy tucks are supposed to be done in hospital. She was willing to do it outpatient. Totally unsafe from what other surgeons have told me. DON NOT USE!!!! I came in for a simple procedure to remove cartilage build up from a cauliflower ear I got from fighting years ago. It started with them quoting a price and verifying insurance preauthorization. Then when the bill came they charged me 10x the amount. What was worse is the results of the procedure created a bigger issue of my ear swelling (filling with blood) every morning. Dr. Neena Will only solution was to do a series of steroid injections over the next 6+ months. These did nothing and her answer was simply you will just have to wait and see if it gets better with time. IT HAS NOT!!! To top it off they charged me more than the procedure for the shots. When I ask them to waive the fee because it was a followup from surgery their statement was. You have to pay for the service not the results. In Summary 1. Tried charging me 10x what was quoted 2. Had my first appointment with Dr. Will two weeks ago. I could not be more pleased with her, or her office staff. Her office helped me get an appointment right away. They were very helpful with directions and answered all of my questions over the phone. I recently moved to the area from Los Angeles, where I was getting Botox every 3-4 months for the past six years. I called several plastic surgery offices in the SW suburbs, and was disappointed when other surgeons, who were listed as "Expert Injectors" on the Botox website, did not see patients for Botox, they only referred them to their nurse injectors. When I did not hear from her the next day I called and never received a call back. The next day my husband called her 11:00 am. She said she was turning on her computer and would call back shortly. With no call back by 4:15 I called again. The receptionist told me she was too busy with clinicals to talk to me. I told her I needed to talk to her to get a surgery date and the receptionist said she wouldn't have time to call me back. I told her if she didn't call me back that day do not bother calling. Went to Dr. Will for botox and filler a few months ago. It's taken this long for the negative effects to wear off. I specifically asked for "little sips" of botox so that my forehead wouldn't look frozen. Also, this was the first time getting filler under my eyes. After the swelling went down, it looked like I had a mosquito bite under my left eye. When I called with my concerns, I was told that no refunds were permitted. I would've taken an acknowledgement of error from the doctor and a free service of some kind (which they give away for referrals on a regular basis). After having received Botox and filler over the last few years in Oakbrook, I decided to find a Spa closer to my home in Plainfield. I stumbled on this place on a trip to Starbucks. I made an appt for the following Friday. When I showed up for my appt, the front desk had no record of it. But no worries, they were going to "help me out" & fit me in. Now it seems as though most Spas have a secret pricing for their Botox & fillers. They have no pricing sheet for you to view. Some doctors charge for an area, such as a forehead, or by milligram of product used. This spa was fairly similar. The doctor quoted me $1250 off the top of her head and was very evasive about how she came up with that dollar amount as I questioned her. Possibly Dr Will saw the big ring on my finger and pulled the pricing out of the air. I typically pay $150 for Botox on the forehead done to satisfaction and I pay $700 +/- for the facial fillers. "Done to satisfaction" means that if the client feels as though the treatment didn't get desired results after waiting two weeks that they have the option of return for an other treatment at no cost. Her pricing was high but I decided to go ahead with it. I waited the two full weeks and could see little to no results from the filler that Dr Wil used. I made an appt to return. The Doctor made me wait a half hour for the touch up. Before she injected me, she reminded me how this additional filler would be a one time "complementary" fill. So I guess that I should be thanking her for adding in more milligrams to complete her treatment as promised? Now after one month of receiving the Botox injections, my forehead nerves are no longer paralyzed and it easily wrinkles. A typical area of injection should last 4-6 months although she quoted nine months. I would never pay $650 for one month. So I returned. I made the first appt of the day so that I didn't have to wait. But this time, the good Doctor made me wait over an hour. I'm sure that she assumed that I would give up and leave. When she finally came in the room and looked at the treated area, she agreed that the product didn't work. "Oh maybe this particular product didn't agree with your body" and "Yes it definitely should've lasted longer." And the Good Doctor said that she'd be willing to use a different kind of Botox that may work better. BUT SHE WANTED ME TO PAY MORE for the different product with no refund for the first visit. And then after debating my point of the money issue, I did walk out. Long and short of this story is DO NOT TO GO TOTHE LIME LIGHT MED SPA on North 59 on 127th near Red Robin or use Doctor Burt or Doctor Neena Will. These two sisters are thieves. Don't trust them OR GET EVERYTHING INCLUDING ALL PRICING IN WRITING at this Spa. One price, one treated area done to satisfaction. Thanks for nothing, Doctor will. Thanks for blowing my $1250. When this practice is confronted with facts and genuine concerns, instead of admitting fault, they cancel surgeries without any reason given and refund, a nonrefundable down payment and not all the money either. Mind you I signed multiple documents stating that deposit was no refundable and when asked for copies of all of my documents and a reason typed up with signatures stating why my surgery was being canceled, no one returned my phone call. I received a a check in the mail still with no explanation or documentation. Dr. Burt and associates were less than accommodating, willing to hide mistakes vs taking ownership and did not stand up for their patient as a respectable physician should. We all know when someone is put completely under general anesthesia, signature is needed from responsible party driving them home and said person is not allowed to leave during procedure. That is where everyone dropped the ball and when I mentioned I didn't sign paperwork and I was in a car accident while leaving to use the washroom because the "waiting room was closed" everyone stopped talking to me and returning phone calls. Despite the good reviews results wise, the inability to take accountability for your actions is enough to take my business and probably the business of a lot considering you're putting them to sleep and preforming major surgery. I was there for dermatologist appointment and cosmetic procedure. I was satisfied with the dermatologist so decided to give it a try for a cosmetic procedure as well. The consultation was ok, although I was expecting more of the doctors opinion I felt like it was too hard for her to bother explaining to me what can be done regarding what I wanted to correct. I paid $50 and was advised that if I decide to go with the procedure the $50 will be deducted from the final bill. I did the procedure, which was very painful, uncomfortable and traumatic. When I went at the receptionist to pay she told me I owe the full price $2400. Advised her that I already have paid the consultation and that the full price should be less $50, she checked something and said ok and charged me $2350. She refused to do the surgery and kept my 500$ I didn't cancel my appt I just didn't want a lift. That's a shady thing to do! Long story short, I went to another place and had just the implants and I'm super happy with them! It's a cosmetic surgery, they should perform what we are paying them to do. We shouldn't be forced to do only what dr wants when it's our body! After seeing her rbefore and after of her breast lift work, I dodged a bullet there! Her work looks awful that she's posted on her website. On top of that they lied on the dispute paperwork saying I wanted something harmful done to my body. How is not getting a breast lift harmful? I was not harmed by only getting implants from another plastic surgeon. If you look at their Facebook reviews, I see they pulled the same stuff with someone else! Shady practice to say the least, they can only make money by non refundable appointments and duping customers into thinking one thing and turning around and doing another. My experience with office has been horrible and unprofessional..... Careful making appt and make sure that they give the you quote before making an appt. I went in February for an assessment and took the 1 first quote with me. That quote i did sign since i was present when given. After a month i called to change procedure and to ask for a quote. The Coordinator Peggy was in vacation i asked how to go with Surgery appt and they said that they can give an appt and when Peggy came back from vacation she can give the numbers for the different quote. Of course Peggy never called i had to leave about 3 messages for her to conctact me back. When she did call she said that she was going to send the quote by mail. I'm very happy with the surgery results and care post-op. I'm only giving 4 stars because they never return phone calls. I had inflammation after surgery and needed a muscle relaxer over the weekend and never got a call back from their emergency line and even on Monday, no call back. I only wish I had done it sooner! I had my breast augmentation done 2 weeks ago. I had a very good experience. Dr. Burt is extremely knowledgeable, she explains everything thoroughly and makes you feel very comfortable. I truly expected to be in pain and it was just like pressure and soreness, not pain.
