I was very disappointed with my CoolSculpting experience at LaserAway. I was told that two sessions should be sufficient for my frame. After completing both sessions, I was unhappy with the results and did not feel the treatment was worth the cost or discomfort. I raised my concerns with LaserAway, and Brian from Client Experience responded on March 25, 2023. His recommendation was to purchase additional treatments, with a 25% discount on additional applicators. That was frustrating because I had already completed the number of sessions I was originally told should be appropriate. I responded to Brian on April 5 explaining that I was disappointed with the results and did not plan to purchase more sessions. Danielle was copied on the email. I received no response. On April 11, I had to follow up again and ask whether anyone planned to respond to my previous email. I understand that results from cosmetic treatments can vary. My issue is how the situation was handled. I relied on the recommendation I was given, was unhappy with the outcome, and the solution offered was simply to purchase more treatments. When I explained that I was not interested in spending more money and was dissatisfied with the service, my email went unanswered. I'm extremely disappointed with this location and how my situation has been handled from start to finish. During my second appointment, I was burned on my forehead. The nurse claimed there was a note on my profile stating I requested the fan be turned off--which is completely inaccurate. I never made that request. I also purchased an expensive package under the impression of full hair removal, but I have not seen the results promised. When I raised concerns, I was told I would likely need to purchase additional sessions and that the treatment only removes about 80% of hair--something that was never clearly explained upfront. I requested documentation of what I signed and asked to speak with a manager. After multiple requests over several weeks, I received no response. When I finally spoke with the district manager, Jocelyn, she repeatedly spoke over me. When I mentioned recording the call (as your system states calls may be recorded), she claimed she had never heard of calls being recorded in her 5 years with the company and hung up on me. Shortly after, I received a call from someone on the "care team" who confirmed that calls are in fact recorded, directly contradicting her. When I pointed this out, he avoided addressing it. I was also told the employee who sold me the package is no longer with the company, so they cannot verify what was promised--which is unacceptable. At this point, I requested a refund. Instead, I was told I would be charged $400 per session for the 4 sessions used, meaning I would lose $1,600 from a $2,000 package. This pricing breakdown makes no sense and feels misleading. They were very responsive when making the sale, but completely unresponsive when addressing serious issues. This location is the worst. The front desk girl is extremely rude and likes to make passive aggressive comments. I had a laser package and they do not do a thorough job. I purchase 2 Thermage sections back in August. When I went in for my first treatment, the nurse did 0.5 setting on my neck and 2 for my right face. I felt nothing for my neck, when she start doing setting 2 for right my face, I told her my friend use setting for 3, she said the first time patient they won't go over 0.5 for neck, and no more then 2 for the face. I told her I felt nothing for my right face at setting 2, She insisted 2 is enough for my right face because it is turning red. After she finished my neck(0.5) and right face(2), she finally asked me if I want to try 3 for my left face, I said ok, so she increase the intensity to 3 for my left face. After finishing my left face, she used very little remaining shots on my right face on setting 3, like 2 minutes. After 53 days (almost 2 months), I can feel the tightness and lift for my left face, but almost no effect on my neck and right face. We have 3 ladies purchased the same package, but we did the Thermage in 3 different locations. My friends who did the exact procedure told me the nurses they had all start with low setting and gradually go up higher, and asked their feedback for adjustment accordingly. One friend did this in the city location, and her neck setting was 1.5, and face at 3. I complained to Zena, our sales representative, about my nurse did not bother to asked about increase the setting until 60% done into my procedure. With the results showing more effective on my left face, it's a big waste of money. I felt I can have better result on my right face and neck if the nurse would ask my feelings and gradually increase the intensity for the whole procedure. This is a very expensive procedure. The district manger keeps on saying I need to wait 3-6 months, but I already feel effects on my left face and very little change on my right face and neck. Before the treatment, Zena even told me she go for the highest setting in the pain stage. When I told the district manager about my friend were able to get 1.5 for the neck and 3 for her whole face for the same procedure, she kept on arguing why I kept on comparing myself to my friend. I felt I am talking to a wall, it's a waste of time communicating with her, whenever I try to express my feelings, she just talked over me and ignore my concerns. I paid thousands for 20 sessions of tattoo removal. I had sent pictures and had one treatment done at the Naperville location. At my second appointment, I was taken to one of the back rooms where the rep preceded to tell me that the tattoos were bigger than they looked in the pictures. They wanted to charge me more! So, overall my experience has been rocky here. First signing up I was not told that it was going to be an additional charge for numbing cream for a tattoo removal(mind you it's a big ass tattoo on my face that I sent pictures of so they knew what it was). So I go in the next day to them trying to remove it with no numbing cream and obviously I freaked out about it because it hurts like hell to then be told that I have to once again do a credit check to add it which then felt like a scam because I was never told this when they knew where the tattoo was and so forth. So then fast forward to I believe my third or fourth laser hair removal session in which the girl working on me hit my tattoo on stomach with the laser and it's affected/ruined my tattoo. I've been trying to communicate with corporate about this for 3 months now with shoddy communication and not being listened to or having my requests respected. I've been calling the 888 number every 2 days asking to speak to hr to then be told that they will contact me in 24 hours and no one does. I'm literally at my wits end with this company, and I'm spending thousands of dollars to not even be considered with an injury that happened at their facility. But yet I'm expected to keep going to these appointments and keep paying but I can't even have my whole injury situation resolved or basic communication from their hr department, it's genuinely like they don't care. First, I want to start out by saying there is absolutely no way to contact LaserAway on their website, aside from setting up a consultation. I tried sending an email; no reply. I recently completed 11 laser treatments for my underarms and Brazilian. I'm an utterly disappointed in my results. When I signed up, I was told I'd have approximately 10% hair reduction with each treatment. As I said, I've had 11 treatments, which should be 110% reduction or at least pretty close to gone. While I understand that everyone is different, and results may vary, I would say my results are 50% hair reduction, at best. I've had to resort to waxing again. Every time I mentioned that I was disappointed, I was just encouraged to buy another bundle of 8 treatments. I have already spent over $3000. This is an absolutely ridiculous response to someone expressing they're not happy. It's very clear that your front desk staff do not care about their customers outcome, they're just interested in their commission. Not to mention, then when I came in for my second to last treatment, the nurse was running way behind, so she rushed through my treatment. It was very painful and she missed half of my bikini area. I'm also really upset about the fact back in July, I had $100 in rewards. When I was asked if I would like to buy a maintenance package, I had said I was waiting for my birthday month (September), so I could use my birthday rewards along with my $100 reward. Never once was I told that they'd expire. My co-worker, whom referred me, did the same thing, but they let her use her birthday rewards early. This is completely unfair and unprofessional. After one treatment there was no results as expected, after the second nothing and I was a little concerned and I asked what they think! They told me you need to wait until the third. I tried this location for the first time to get Botox on my frown lines. I've gotten Botox a few times before and always used 20 units in that spot. One of the weird things I didn't like here was when I made the apt they made me decide and buy the units over the phone. How was I supposed to know if I would need more or less than 20 units when they didn't assess me yet. I thought that was very strange. So I bought an additional 5 units than normal in case I needed 25 units this time. I went to the apt and they said 25 units was fine and did the Botox on my frown lines. When I've done it in the past I've noticed great results within 2 days. This time I only saw maybe a 50% improvement at best after 2 weeks. I went back in to talk to them because I'm thinking it could've been a newer employee that didn't inject correctly or maybe a bad batch or something but they basically said oh no you probably need like at least 10 more units. I'm not sure how 20 units always looked amazing before and now they say I need like 35 units! Seems like a really big jump!
