ne of the worst pharmacies in Wappingers Falls, NY. I must say! I went in there to get Antibiotics for a bad infection I had that needed to be treated asap, the pharmacy staff took my information down and told me to have a seat while they got my prescription ready. I sat there for over 42 minutes, and they finally called me up just to tell me that they did not have my prescription medication available at the time. When I asked, when would they have it ready or available, they told me that they could not say at the moment, and that I should come back tomorrow...wtf? This is WALGREENS!! This is supposed to be one of America's Trusted Pharmacies. Dried and Sassy staff working there just to get a paycheck, that don't really care for the customers well-being! read more

Trying to find out if they had Pfizer CoVID booster in stock. Had called multiple pharmacies and couldn't even get anyone to pick up the phone in all cases but one. When I called this location, their store pharmacy had not only gone to AI but they had gone to AI using a Filipina accent! These people are never properly trained and can barely speak English when I get a live one of them on the phone! So now they have to inflict Filipinas on me who aren't even human? I realized it was AI when I specifically asked very simple questions and the thing was answering questions I hadn't asked. I called about 5 different pharmacy chains and finally called Walmart Pharmacy in Fishkill where a live person answered the phone. They had the Pfizer vaccine and I drove out there (30 miles each way) and was finally able to get the vaccine. More and more, pharmacies don't answer the phone. I don't know what patients are supposed to do. read more

This is only for the pharmacy. I needed a last minute item for my surgery tomorrow and needed help finding it. The absolute bitch behind the window just kept looking at me icily saying we're closed when I desperately needed her help. Luckily, the shift manager knew about the product I needed. This woman shouldn't be allowed to work in customer service, shift manager told me she absolutely could have stuck her head out to help me. I'm already worried about my surgery and she had me almost in tears. Nice energy to bring to the world. Shouldn't taken her picture. read more

If I could give zero I would. Was a happy Rite Aid customer. Since switching to this store the perscriptions are hard to get. I have COPD and ordered my medication in a timely fashion. Every day I got text message saying the pharmacy is temporaly closed. WTF. People need to get meds. Switching to CVS. Also some of the meds are twice what I paid at Rite Aid, with no change to my insurance plan. STAY AWAY FROM WALGREENS. Hope they fold. The worst customer service, when people rely on getting medication this store can't have the pharmacy open to get youe refills. I called corperate 3 days ago, they said someone would contact me within 48 hours. Nope no contact fron Walgreens. Can't trust a store like this. read more

Worst service ever from a pharmacist with attitude. I was a customer with a prescription called in and was in some discomfort. The attitude we got from him was "You'll get it whenever I get around to it". It took the entire day. Never again at this pharmacy. read more

Absolutely the worst pharmacy. On hold for over 2.5 hours only to finally be hung up on. I could hear the staff talking about customer medications, laughing and talking about other things. It's unfortunate but I will be moving my scripts elsewhere. The lines and hold times are out of control and they're not doing anything about it. read more

The person helping me behind the pharmacy counter tried to charge me for my medication which was already expensive, and I have insurance. She said my insurance was not accepted so I left. I did my research and found out my insurance is accepted, and they were only trying to get payment upfront. I found this to be so wrong and also because this happened with the pharmacist standing right there and I was in obvious pain. Shame on their business practices. read more

Here I am, leaving the very rare one star review, but this Walgreens demands it. Anything to get this corporate chain to up their game. Namely, when it comes to customer service. We walked in past a long line where a harried cashier was trying to attend to everyone. We had to get Fed Ex services, so we walked to that counter (it's the photo counter). She yelled out at us, "Do you need help with a drop-off?" Hey, at least she tried, but it was so weird to be yelled at. More annoying was the "help" that arrived after she paged them on the PA. The guy sullenly asked us if we needed to drop off something. "No, I need the labels printed." His reaction was as if I had asked him to personally deliver my items. "Oh no, we don't do that here. You're going to have to go home and print the labels and then come back," he said quite disdainfully. Seriously? There was a printer right behind him and a sign indicated that they do printing services. I understand that the location might have been only for drop-offs (would have been nice if was indicated as such somewhere), but obviously if I would have paid and sent the label to their computers, they could have printed it. I wasn't asking him to move mountains. I will never return here. They wasted about an hour of my day because I then had to go to Newburgh to find a full service Fed Ex and weirdly enough, there are NONE around this area. read more

Rude, nasty, and trashy customer service. The computers were down apparently because of a service outage, not power, their server! Pretty sure you don't need a server to pay cash, but perhaps adding tax of 8.125% would overwhelm the intellect of this manager. At least a 50% chance your going to get a really crappy attitude from the staff at this Walgreens. The pharmacist was rude to my wife. F-me because after that the wife decided to hen peck me to go and deal with that chode pharmacist every time we need a Rx. I complained to the younger manager on a different occasion about a price issue (marked price was not the price the register scanned) and the dirtbag just shrugged and walked away. His eyes were super bloodshot so either he was writing his doctoral dissertation the night before or he just smoked a giant bag of weed (yeah, we all know it was the weed). For what it's worth (probably nothing because Sam Walton is dead and no one in this corporation gives an F) I called corporate and complained about the blown out manager. Have avoided this place since dealing with that manager. read more

If you like inflated prices for your purchases, this is the store for you. Their sales are equivalent to regular prices elsewhere. If you like a pharmacy with long waiting lines and you have time to return numerous times to get your one prescription because they are busy or have misplaced the order, this is the pharmacy for you. If you want to stand and wait in line with 3 other customers at the pharmacy only to be told to return later because they are leaving for lunch, this is the pharmacy for you. read more

While I've yet to use their pharmacy, the rest of the store is just fine. I've only stopped in for a few convenience items, but they're had what I was looking for and they were well-organized. The staff have always been nice to deal with as well. read more

terrible pharmacy! Always has to wait for at least 20 mins, even for a pick up and even there is no one ahead of you. Store is good. checkout is fast. I just cannot stand their pharmacy. Many times, you only see one person working there. And, this person has to run the drive-through window too. Never got your prescription filled within 1 hour. Picking up takes at least 20 mins. Most of the time I was the only one in the line and I still had to wait that long. If you call them, take a long time for someone to pick up the phone, or you get nobody to pick up your call. I switched all my meds to other place, small pharmacy is much better read more

This isn't just a pharmacy....there is a pretty nice, well stocked store here too. Very helpful, lovely staff. Rarely a wait on a line without a staff member being called for help. The pharmacy is usually quite helpful and nice, although one lady is very frustrating because she never understands my insurance card every single time I go there (I don't go there often, but still...if you don't get it, why not call the # on the insurance card?). I dread going there if she's there, because it's always an "event". Also, the printing services are ok (my last one hour photo online order that I picked up in store last month had a few streaky prints. Otherwise, I really like this location and prefer this one over others in the area. read more

I stopped by Walgreens yesterday and wanted to update my review. I was at the back end of the store looking at hair products and I could hear two female employees talking quite loudly. I couldn't see them from where I was so I took a step in their direction. At the same time one of the females began loudly dropping "F" bombs in the conversation. The woman were not fighting, they were just conversing. The volume level and language were awful. I was surprised that both females were much older than teenagers. The woman with the foul mouth appeared to be Asian and the other woman was blonde with a really bad mullet-type hairdo. One or both of the women began shouting comments toward a much younger male employee. The male was pushing a cart full of products and appeared to be performing his job task in an acceptable manner. I was shocked at the behavior of both woman. They were completely unprofessional. I did not see a manger or anyone acting with manger's authority. If I had located a manger, I would have recommended that both woman be fired or at least firmly reprimanded. I also must mention that the parking lot at this location is very busy. It has gotten worse over the years due to more business in the surrounding area. Obviously this has nothing to do with the staff. There is traffic coming though from four or five different directions, while cars are backing out of parking spaces. It is quite dangerous for pedestrians as well as vehicles. The whole lot needs to be rearranged, perhaps with a one-way traffic flow. read more

Terrible service, know sign of urgency, they don't even acknowledge that you're waiting

Walked into this pharmacy to pick up my prescription. I smiled and greeted the pharmacist with a "hello! I'm picking up my prescription under......"! He proceeded to get angry, throw up his hands and (i kid you not) yell "you didn't call it in!!! What am I supposed to do?" True life: I ran out of there crying while dialing my doctors phone number to switch my prescriptions to the nearest CVS. The scary pharmacist has forever tainted my view of Walgreens. read more

Don't wait at the drive thru to drop off, pick up, or ask the pharmacist about a prescription because you'll be waiting for over 15 minutes. Instead of having the other person drive around or come back they let the person sit there and let the drive through line build up. That's very rude especially when they can be helping someone else. read more

About one month ago my husband and I was at this location. The store manager refused to sell my husband and I an alcoholic beverage because he didn't have his ID, but I did. I reported the issue to corporate and was told I will get a call back. Today my husband went back to this same location to purchase cough medicine for our son and was asked for ID again. My husband left and went to the Walgreens on South Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY and purchase the cough medicine without being ID. So I'm wondering what should I think about this location. Why are they always trying to Identify my husband who is a black male in his mid forties. I'm not understanding if this location is making up their own rules or just targeting "Certain" People. read more

Horrible pharmacy! I never spend less than 25 minutes picking anything up. They have lost my perscriptions three times. Then told me I need to call the poughkeepsie one to see if they have it. The first time I did poughkeepsie didnt have it and I had to go back to wapp and ask them again. Then they magically had it. The second time it was at poughkeepsie. And the third time neither had it and I had to have the doctor call. But I had not done all the fills. The worst part about it is that it was a monthly birthcontrol pill. So the perscription never changed. All three times the manager was outrageously rude to me. To the point where I threatened to call corporate. You may ask, why go back then? My perscription was already there and I couldn't get another without paying for A doctors appointment. Also they have a wellness card that costs 20 per year and saves you money on every fill. For my bc it takes the cost from 35 to 12. For the strep meds I just got today, which took 30 mins at the drive through. read more
