There they've swept the traces of Country Corner clean away, and with them a piece of my heart. No longer is the lady with the missing tooth, eager to take my order. No longer is the farmers hunched over hot biscuits or spaghetti. The foods are fried at some unpeopled hour and left under lamps all day. Crisp has given way to chew, heat to tepidness, flavor to flub. There is an invisible sign here that wards away souls like a rotting skunk. They've taken the short-order cooks and replaced them with languidly-smiling, busy, multi-tasking, multi-purpose, efficient and modern-day cashiers. They've taken the dining-tables and replaced them with....well, asphalt I suppose. A big black expanse designed perhaps to let oil trucks cut through like star-destroyers. After being told it was stocked daily 3 days ago I was later informed that it was not & they barely received anything & that I would need to check back in a few days to see if I would be one of the 1 to 2 patients out of multiple customers needing this medication who would actually receive it. Because it was "over prescribed" & they had a nationwide shortage. I've now learned this is only a CVS issue & have transferred my prescription to Walgreens without issues. To the male pharmacist that decided to inject his personal opinions & bias into my medical situation & distribution of a medication my highly educated medical professional prescribed to me... you are disgusting & have absolutely no business interacting with the public let alone having any control over what medication patients are receiving from the business you are employed by. CVS you're just trash.

They carried on as she listed past giveaways, today's giveaway, and upcoming giveaways. I just stood there holding my purchases hoping they'd wrap it up. But no, then the customer decided he wanted some Zyn, but wasn't sure which flavor. That started another conversation. Finally he made his choice and the cashier began the arduous task of peeling a can from its packaging, still carrying on about the giveaways and her opinions. Finally, I dropped my products on the counter and walked out. I can only imagine how hard it is to find quality employees to work overnight in a gas station, but simple courtesy should be a common human trait. Just not this morning....
